- In this video I bring up the topic of scrap wood. Some will toss it out and others like myself will find a use for it. Well I've got the Echo chainsaw and a couple Stihl chainsaws out to cut up logs into blocks that I will later split into camp firewood and kindling.

Spending time outdoors doing projects with various machines and tools - anything from cutting trees, firewood, clearing brush, milling wood, plowing snow, reviewing, repairing & fabricating equipment. Doing landscaping and maintenance on my forested property using my Kubota tractor.
And its not all work!! Gotta take time to play - after turning my pond into a skating rink, and a whole bunch more of outdoor activities.
Good Morning To Both Of You, I totally agree about using scap wood, if it is dry it can be burn inside a wood stove and Keep Up Your OUTSTANDING Team Work With Your Lovely Wife videographer Sir Cheers !!!
Good afternoon to you Sir and thank you. Enjoy your wood stove as there are still more cold days to come. Have a great weekend!
Being the product of Depression era parents, I save it all for "down the line usage" like kindling, skid boards, etc. Have a great weekend, Paul!
Excellent uses John. You too have a great weekend!
Good morning Paul, we use all our "scrap" wood. If it's not for burning in the wood stove we use it for landfill or it goes through the chipper. Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend, Ben 👍
Good afternoon Ben. Glad to hear that you find a use for it all. You too have a great weekend!
Your so right about you can’t keep everything. I was struggling to find a use for all the odd size lumber off the sawmill until my neighbour saw it. He’s pretty delighted to have some of that. I’ve been running a lot of smaller stuff through my chipper to use as trail cover. It works beautifully for that. Have good weekend!
Yeah there always some odd sizes that come off the sawmill, glad your neighbour has a use for it. Wood chips are excellent on the trail. You too Brian have a good weekend!
Good morning Paul. Thanks for sharing!
Good afternoon Tod and thank you for stopping by!
It all burns, and if you want you could do lil bundles for the city camping crowd. Cheers Paul! 🍻👍🌴
You bet Mark, thanks for stopping by!
👍👍👍 Amazing scrap wood! So many uses for it. Thanks for sharing! 💲💲💲
Thanks, there's always a use for the scrap. Have a fantastic day!
It all burns the same Paul. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Mike.
Yes it does. Have a super weekend Mike!
Hey Paul. 100%. Everything has a use and purpose, and there is always value in everything regardless.
You got it Kenny! Especially nowadays with the cost of everything. Have a super weekend!

Thanks Luc. It's enjoyable work. You too Luc, have a great weekend!
100% agree Paul. In my woodyard, there's no such thing as scrap wood. My Dad burns everything 🤠👍
Your dad comes from a generation of not wasting, a great trait. I really like that bucket spill guard you made. Have a fabulous weekend Sam.
Yes indeed, I do keep too much scrap wood. I've even been know to go around the neighbourhood and picking out scrap wood that some have put out in the trash! LOL My neighbours watch me and laugh! Sure beats buying it to use in the backyard firepit!
It most certainly beats buying it. Thanks for watching and enjoy the backyard firepit.
I use up lots of my scrap wood in my outdoor furnace. I guess I'm lucky that way. Without the furnace, I'm not sure what I would do with the scrap. Take care.
That's a real bonus to having an outdoor furnace. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
I do the same thing when I cut logs on The Sawmill, I tried to burn all the wood I cut. Great video Thanks
Thanks Mike and have a great week!
Good morning Paul.
Good afternoon Gary, I was wondering if you got all those dead ash trees cut down. Have a great weekend!
