At 8 yrs. old, I learned how to crochet the basic of basic stiches, but never properly (front loop vs. back loop vs. both loops) and how to end a row and start a new one correctly. Since then, for 52 years, I have always wanted to learn how to crochet properly and correctly. Thank heaven for RUclips and you, Jonna! I can now finally do a simple hat and scarf project, which I've wanted to do for a very, very long time. Thanks for sharing your talent on RUclips, Jonna!!!! So happy I found your tutorials! :-)
You have the best crochet tutorials on RUclips. You explain everything so simply & also make the whole project in the video, unlike some who only show how to do the basic pattern. Also, your voice is lovely to listen to. Thank you for this patter. I've made my first two crochet scarves in this pattern. All the best!
I made this scarf and not only is it easy and quick but it is beautiful. Your tutorial is so easy to follow. Great explanation. I used Bernat Blanket "Ocean Shades". Thanks so much. Will look for other videos that you have made. Thank you
The video was really helpful. Thank you so much for making it easier to crochet a scarf, i really needed it for this upcoming winter❄️. I also wanted to say that you are really, incredibly beautiful too. You are just so stunning. Have a good day or night whenever you see this❤☺️😊😁🥰
I’m really happy to hear you enjoyed the tutorial and found it helpful for this winter. Thank you very much for watching and the kind compliments! Have a good day/night as well! ❤️
this is super easy - and I love the look. this is the same way I make my favorite hats - so I can give matching sets by making this scarf for this coming holiday season
I made these for my family for Christmas. One was in a lightweight pale grey for my daughter and was so delicate. One was red and blue striped and chunky for my other football crazy daughter. One was white for my daughter in law and I made a teeny tiny one for my baby granddaughter to wear under her snowsuit. Thank you so much for your lovely very easy pattern. I've had so many compliments and the kids loved them.
Hello again, I finally purchased the correct yarn like the one that you are using, however I wanted to know if I wanted to make my scarf a bit long how long should my chain be? I’m making it for my daughter who is 5.feet 8inches,,, and my original scarf I made came out short 😰please advise… thank you again for your time and patience with these questions 😊

After I crocheted that easy snowflake I feel like I need more yarn in my life. This pattern could be adjusted to fit the size of cape for a bed? Like chain shitload of times, then turn, aso?
Love it. Could I please ask if you are able to add a few more rows if you want it to be a little wider? I don't have yarn that bulky (don't need it so much here in Australia ..lol ) so may have to use 2 strands together instead.
I am going to work up a worsted weight version too, so at the moment I’m not sure how many you would need to chain. But chain for about 68” would be the goal. Or use 2-3 strands of yarn together. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I will attempt this, although I'm already at the failing door since nobody in the store told me each yarn needs a specific hook, so i have a 2,5-3 hooktype yarn with a 5 hook :"D so the best I could come up for this is double yarn so instead of 3 hoops i have 6, might not have been the smartest idea because now my scarf is rolling up like a snake :"D wish me luck and power and lets hope it will be wearble by the time im done with it.
