    A bit of an unrelated question, how do you accomplish glitter not sinking to the bottom of your molds? Especially deeper molds like the crystal towers? Also, any thoughts on how to accomplish a glitter spiral from top to bottom in a crystal tower mold?

    • @Toonpish
      @Toonpish  2 года назад +1

      Ok unfortunately as you know glitter sinks
      So if you are using anything other than microfine glitter you need to wait until the resin is getting gloopy then stir it so get the glitter up from the bottom.
      If you are looking for a spiral of glitter
      Then I would suggest creating a spiral out of a silicone straw the once cured put that in clear.
      I hope that helps 😀😀👍❤️
      You could always use a glitter type alcohol additive
      See my video on rainbow additive 😀 that company makes loads of colours 😀👍❤️

    I can say that i learned that the mold release spray i have does not play nice with silicone. I was trying to make a mold of a silicone bowl. Everywhere that the silicone touched the mold release, it didn't cure. It was gooey and sticky. There was no cleaning it off unfortunately. I tried.
    I have a brush on mold release i plan to try and see what happens. I love the tealight idea. Ive been trying to figure out a way to make candlestick holder molds because i can't find any good molds.

    What is a pressure pot?

    • @Toonpish
      @Toonpish  Год назад

      It’s a pot that is filled with compressed air that pushes so hard on the curing resin it squeezes all the bubbles so much you can’t see them.
      This might help

    Hi Wendy. I have a question. I have a little bit of resin & hardener left in a bunch of bottles. They are all different brands. Do you think I can mix them?

      Hi Purple Butterfly 🦋
      I wouldn’t no.
      If they were the same brand then you would maybe have a chance it would work. But different brands use different methods and although you could say why not try 😳🤷‍♀️ you will probably end up with a sticky mess 😂😂

    Hi Wendy hope you don't mind me asking you this. By the way I love watching your vlogs, I also watch marvelousartzy she has recently mentioned that she hasn't seen her mum for over 8 years home is in a home a fair distance from her. I thought if we could start a go fund me to help her but I have no clue how to even start this with help from yourself and other experienced crafters that know her we could make it come true please please help.

      Oh Rosanne that’s hard for her.
      I have absolutely no idea about go fund me things as my technical ability on social media is practically zero.
      It’s very sweet of you to consider this for her, but perhaps she should do this herself? Some folks don’t like charity and I wouldn’t want to upset anyone 💜
