Matthew 2002 after rewatching the entire series again and with this revelation in mind, a lot of things about Lizzie suddenly make sense. So much sense that I can't help but wonder if her being an alien had been planned from the very start...
For so long I was convinced that Lizzie was just Numbuh One's well-meaning but dim-witted HUMAN girlfriend. But I was wrong on all those counts. One, she's not human, two, she's not dim-witted, and three, she was testing Numbuh One's loyalty by acting like his girlfriend. My brain is in shambles.
If you think about it deeply, Number One has always hated adults. He always expect the worst from them. The reason he doesn't go Splinter Cell on them because of his loyalty to the KND and his teammates parents. Now since he with the GKND, they might have open his heart, but still hold some regrets as his friends are there.
i feel that this is also attributed to his overwhelming loyalty to whatever he sets himself on. his workaholic nature brought this upon the world. most of number one's notions were merely childhood paranoia which is something he tells number five during the finale. number one does not have a hatred for adults as we see with his own parents.
First, number 4 saying they didn't study Canadian in school was fucking hilarious. Second hearing cookie swear was shocking and great all at the same time.
Thing is, with this show and it not spending much time in Canada. I really can’t tell if the show’s version of Canada does or doesn’t use a different written language.

Ben is doing dubs more than cartoons now, but you can still hear Nigel or Hoagie in some of his characters. Lauren & Dee are also still cartoon voice acting professionals. Dee probably voices 40% of the cartoon animals you hear). I'm surprised Lauren isn't more hyped with the popularity of Asian Americans in film representation... I'll make a film for her to star in if anything smh, she deserves it. And Grey is doing her "Vicky" voice which is probably ingrained in her brain for Lizzie.
To me. It explained some moments when she took down say the DCFDTL....both in D.A.T.E and C.A.K.E.D T.W.O for example...it was even foreshadowed if you rewatch it. The fact in the episode P.O.O.L she was part of the DNK...(hinting she was part of the KND)....and Nigel was a Galaxic Kids Next Door canidate. So he had to be tested to prove his loyalty. This was Lizzie's mission...and once Nigel proved his loyalty will always be to the KND....she broke up with him. As her mission was complete.
Not sure how I would feel about it going back on CN. Given how royally ruined the network is compared to its golden time. I'm scared if G:KND gets on there the show being ruined. Maybe it going on Adult Swim or something else then I think I could be a bit relieved. But, I personally like the idea of the show being more adult themed. At least a tad more given how this storyline is much more serious than before. It's a new take I can say that I like. 🙂 I REALLY hope this re-boot can go through! But, yay! Kuki and Wally! As a kid, god, I loved them SO much! I was always rooting for Wally to admit his feelings for Kuki. If this re-boot goes through, maybe we could see how their relationship finally developed for the better! (Spoiler- Since in the Interview finale, the two got married as adults. Yay! Lol)
Yep, both Numbahs 2 and 5 and Numbahs 3 and 4 got married as adults. I had wanted Nigel Uno and Lizzie to get back together after understanding their differences (and time) until I find out she was an alien (some stuff did make sense about her). However, I had a feeling that Numbah 1 and Numbah 362 had a better relationship as she was calm with him after G.I.R.L.F.R.I.E.N.D. but wasn't calm when her brother Numbah 363 was given the mission to retrieve the cake from the Delightful Children from Down the Lane in I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. How else did he wind up at the moon base in the end as an adult?

It's disturbing how close this parallels the Warhammer 40k series Exterminatus order.Imagine if the Galactic Kids Next Door are the Inquisition of the Ecclessiarchy, Number 1 being an inquisitor of his own planet, and the phenomenon of adulthood being the forces of Chaos. Number 1 is basically about to commit planetary genocide.
Who knows? Maybe we’ll get it someday… on another network maybe since CN don’t wanna green light it. It seems like an interesting idea to me based on this video and has kind of a different vibe from the original KND. I liked the second clip that was shown compared to the first one.
GKND has so much potential, It’s safe to say that by the time the series starts the Earth will be destroyed or at least about to be. I’m just thinking of the stories they can tell, the entire series could take place primarily on Moon Base, and it would be up to the surviving operatives to stop the GKND, they could reveal that some of the villains thought out the series were former KND operatives and would have to recommission them in order to stand a fighting chance, the teens and the kids would have to work together leading to a civil war between the actual war. THERE IS SO MUCH THAT THEY COULD DO WITH THIS SERIES AND THEY CHOOSE NOT TO DO ANYTHING !!!

Have light cussing, update the teens to listen to rap/techno/dubstep instead of metal, have modern pop culture references, but have some serious shit. Maybe see people die, still have the lighthearted charm, what made the knd the knd, all the traits of the original with serious tones, have some blood, adult militaries fight alongside the knd, (imagine a KND air squadron fighting alongside US F-35s and stealth bombers) have an alien villain who'd be seriously threatening, alien gknd conspiracys, holy shit I am excited. Growing up watching this show was the best. I grew up watching Star trek, X Files, and the daily show with my dad so this shows nuanced writing pulled me in. I didn't get along with other kids well so I grew attached to this show instead. It made me believe that being a kid was awesome and that I could do anything. Going back and rewatching this show only reaffirmed this. I just wanna feel like a kid again, bring this show back...

I’m actually kind of glad that CN didn’t pick this up. If they had, they probably would have screwed it up like they did with all those other reboots. If anyone does eventually pick this up, it should be Netflix, or Hulu, or maybe even adult swim. But that’s not likely to happen anytime soon because I’m pretty sure CN still owns the rights to KND. And unless CN gets an offer they can’t refuse, they aren’t going to sell the rights.

If this series gets made, we would get so many interesting arcs ex: Chad redemption storyline, number 5 & cree making peace, return of number 0 sector z and maybe grandfather, kids teens all knd operatives and adults teaming up to stop the gknd and most of all having number 1 become the villain fighting his former teammates and choosing sides who he will be loyal to in the end.
from what I see if this is going to be a reboot then it's going to be a good one, I can tell they are being faithful to the original KND and it's going to be a show where the kids who grew up with this show can get that old nostalgia feeling and something the new generation can love too. i hope this is the real deal

Being 18-- it'd be one hell of a nostalgia trip to see Sector V grown up with me. I know it's stupid of me to say but GOD DAMN I feel the age hitting me.
Man, i just finished bingeing the entire KND Series, all 6 Seasons in over a Month, before that, i hadn't watched the Series in probably 15 Years or more, i don't think i ever even saw Operation Interviews before, but anyway, now that i refreshed my Memory, i really want there to be a Galactic Kids Next Door Series at some point, hopefully Warburton can make that happen one day, Kids Next Door Rules!!!!

For those that hated Lizzie. It would explain so much. That the stuff she did was more intentional than she had to let on. Like those times she was the one that ended up taken down the Delightful Children From Down The Lane. Such as in Operation D.A.T.E and C.A.K.E.D T.W.O by ruining their plans. Nigel/Numbuh 1 was a Galaxtic KND canidate...so he had to be tested. This was Numbah Vine/Lizzie's mission. Once he proven his loyalty was completely to the KND....she broke up with him. As her mission was complete. However she come to love Earth enough to warn them about the GKND plans. So I think her being loud, overbearing/bossy and such was all part of her act. As she had to play dumb while on Earth and hide the fact she was a GKND operative. It would have been great if this was more explored. I always wonder if Nigel would learn who Lizzie really was...it would make things more interesting...
Rememmber that episode in which Numbuh 1 begged sector V not to do something to him and later it turns out to be sending him to day off on a beach? Or the episode in which sector V was like "Oh sweet Jesus,THIS ISN'T HAPPENING!!", and it turns out they were just out of cereal? I bet that when Numbuh 1 presses that button, something equally hilarious was supposed to happen

I know how everyone feels about this. I also want to see the new GKND series; but unfortunately cartoon Network has not said anything for years now. So all we have to do is keep on pushing until it becomes a reality. I know it may be tough, but we need to keep trying. Even though I'm already old I'm still a kid at heart and I really want to see this for a very long time. So sign petitions that you have seen. As the say in KND: KIDS NEXT DOOR RULES!!!!
I'm 20 and I still watch some childhood shows that were just golden. Some TV shows a person can never just outgrow. KND I would say is definitely one of them. 🙂 lol

@@FlowerPower-dw8pd You're entitled to your own opinion, but I actually like Adventure Time, Steven Universe, and Clarence. Well, Clarence wasn't exactly what I'd call 'enjoyable' and that was a big enough problem as it is, but it improved exponentially with the use of character development.
I think they cancelled the show because GKND being run by aliens changes the whole backstory like at the end it was not kids but some aliens pitching humans against each other

Hmm... considering that the videos released for this show so far have had some degree of adult material (The first one involving eradicating all adults/teens on Earth, and this one having Numbah 3 curse), it's possible they may release this for Adult Swim. This is speculation, of course, but I doubt that CN is going to make the same mistake they did with Dexter's Laboratory and "Rude Removal".

If you think about it deeply, Number One has always hated adults. He always expect the worst from them. The reason he doesn't go Splinter Cell on them because of his loyalty to the KND and his teammates parents. Now since he with the GKND, they might have open his heart, but still hold some regrets as his friends are there.
i feel that this is also attributed to his overwhelming loyalty to whatever he sets himself on. his workaholic nature brought this upon the world. most of number one's notions were merely childhood paranoia which is something he tells number five during the finale. number one does not have a hatred for adults as we see with his own parents.

Ben is doing dubs more than cartoons now, but you can still hear Nigel or Hoagie in some of his characters. Lauren & Dee are also still cartoon voice acting professionals. Dee probably voices 40% of the cartoon animals you hear). I'm surprised Lauren isn't more hyped with the popularity of Asian Americans in film representation... I'll make a film for her to star in if anything smh, she deserves it. And Grey is doing her "Vicky" voice which is probably ingrained in her brain for Lizzie.

To me. It explained some moments when she took down say the DCFDTL....both in D.A.T.E and C.A.K.E.D T.W.O for example...it was even foreshadowed if you rewatch it. The fact in the episode P.O.O.L she was part of the DNK...(hinting she was part of the KND)....and Nigel was a Galaxic Kids Next Door canidate. So he had to be tested to prove his loyalty. This was Lizzie's mission...and once Nigel proved his loyalty will always be to the KND....she broke up with him. As her mission was complete.
Remember she has a family of grandmother, 4 year old brother, sister and brother-in-law in G.I.R.L.F.R.I.E.N.D.? She must had been adopted.

Yep, both Numbahs 2 and 5 and Numbahs 3 and 4 got married as adults. I had wanted Nigel Uno and Lizzie to get back together after understanding their differences (and time) until I find out she was an alien (some stuff did make sense about her). However, I had a feeling that Numbah 1 and Numbah 362 had a better relationship as she was calm with him after G.I.R.L.F.R.I.E.N.D. but wasn't calm when her brother Numbah 363 was given the mission to retrieve the cake from the Delightful Children from Down the Lane in I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. How else did he wind up at the moon base in the end as an adult?

Who knows? Maybe we’ll get it someday… on another network maybe since CN don’t wanna green light it. It seems like an interesting idea to me based on this video and has kind of a different vibe from the original KND. I liked the second clip that was shown compared to the first one.
GKND has so much potential, It’s safe to say that by the time the series starts the Earth will be destroyed or at least about to be. I’m just thinking of the stories they can tell, the entire series could take place primarily on Moon Base, and it would be up to the surviving operatives to stop the GKND, they could reveal that some of the villains thought out the series were former KND operatives and would have to recommission them in order to stand a fighting chance, the teens and the kids would have to work together leading to a civil war between the actual war. THERE IS SO MUCH THAT THEY COULD DO WITH THIS SERIES AND THEY CHOOSE NOT TO DO ANYTHING !!!

Growing up watching this show was the best. I grew up watching Star trek, X Files, and the daily show with my dad so this shows nuanced writing pulled me in. I didn't get along with other kids well so I grew attached to this show instead. It made me believe that being a kid was awesome and that I could do anything. Going back and rewatching this show only reaffirmed this. I just wanna feel like a kid again, bring this show back...

I’m actually kind of glad that CN didn’t pick this up. If they had, they probably would have screwed it up like they did with all those other reboots.
If anyone does eventually pick this up, it should be Netflix, or Hulu, or maybe even adult swim. But that’s not likely to happen anytime soon because I’m pretty sure CN still owns the rights to KND. And unless CN gets an offer they can’t refuse, they aren’t going to sell the rights.

I really hope Galactic Kids Next Door becomes a series. I truly miss this show & would bring back so many memories of my childhood
If this series gets made, we would get so many interesting arcs ex: Chad redemption storyline, number 5 & cree making peace, return of number 0 sector z and maybe grandfather, kids teens all knd operatives and adults teaming up to stop the gknd and most of all having number 1 become the villain fighting his former teammates and choosing sides who he will be loyal to in the end.

Well when you put it that way, then his actions are totally justified.
For those that hated Lizzie. It would explain so much. That the stuff she did was more intentional than she had to let on. Like those times she was the one that ended up taken down the Delightful Children From Down The Lane. Such as in Operation D.A.T.E and C.A.K.E.D T.W.O by ruining their plans. Nigel/Numbuh 1 was a Galaxtic KND canidate...so he had to be tested. This was Numbah Vine/Lizzie's mission. Once he proven his loyalty was completely to the KND....she broke up with him. As her mission was complete.
However she come to love Earth enough to warn them about the GKND plans.
So I think her being loud, overbearing/bossy and such was all part of her act. As she had to play dumb while on Earth and hide the fact she was a GKND operative.
It would have been great if this was more explored. I always wonder if Nigel would learn who Lizzie really was...it would make things more interesting...

I know how everyone feels about this. I also want to see the new GKND series; but unfortunately cartoon Network has not said anything for years now. So all we have to do is keep on pushing until it becomes a reality. I know it may be tough, but we need to keep trying. Even though I'm already old I'm still a kid at heart and I really want to see this for a very long time. So sign petitions that you have seen. As the say in KND: KIDS NEXT DOOR RULES!!!!

Ok so we got a crappy, halfassed reboot of PPG and not this!? What's with CN and trying to make kids of this generation watch stupid crap? I know Adventure time and Steven Universe aren't included since they actually have a well-thought plot, others are just.... ugh! KND made me feel proud to be a kid. The show taught me a lot of things, and definitely not the way Uncle Grandoa and Clarence does.
Adventure Time is meh, Steven Universe is kind of boring.

And I'm only seeing this now WHY? KND was one of my absolute favorites back in the day and I've been rewatching quite a bit of it lately... it was pretty ingeniously designed to be rewatchable as an adult. But man... something a bit darker and more mature would be perfect as a continuation. Really is a shame this hasn't been picked up

Hmm... considering that the videos released for this show so far have had some degree of adult material (The first one involving eradicating all adults/teens on Earth, and this one having Numbah 3 curse), it's possible they may release this for Adult Swim. This is speculation, of course, but I doubt that CN is going to make the same mistake they did with Dexter's Laboratory and "Rude Removal".
