The song is about a guy in a bad relationship and he's in denial, so he doesn't want to hear about it, hence the Shut Up About It line. I love it and I think Azerbaijan is a strong contender to make it back to the final.
CHingiz is for me, one of the very hottest men in Eurovision history.. It's just so awesome that sucha brilliant singer is also insanely hot, so I dont have to feel guilty about drooling over him..LOL
Music Video is nice to present the song; every year we think - how will this song turn into a show?! Azerbaijan 2019 is better, and I'm curious what will they do for staging in Tel Aviv.
Azerbaijan are pretty excellent with their staging - I can't really think of a year when they messed it up. Looking at how strong the music video is this year, I think they will get it right again.
Going backwards two months...need to come down gently... They really made a balls of this in the live shows didn't they? They lost the spanish guitar (it was Spanish and he played that himself, he's a flamenco singer and guitarist as I keep reminding you lol - even though everyone thinks it's an ud, he had the guitar everywhere with him in Tel Aviv), and mainly they lost his amazing voice in 90% of the performance, so it was all shitty chorus and none of the cool verses. He just managed to break free once with the mad note, which everybody I know was mesmerised by. They also sadly lost the magnificent sea creatures but I can see they had no obvious bearing on the story. I'm sad now. But I remember also why I wanted it to be top 3.
haha so I was right in saying it was Spanish. For me the biggest disappointment of this song is that it didnt climax like the other Boris Milanov song "chameleon". they should have had a bigger buildup and crescendo of the spanish guitar getting loudly and more intense with some strummy ad libs and then him doing more of that singing that you mentioned. Instead, the final chorus sounds exctly like the first and second one. Still a great song though and great to see Aerbiajan back in the top 10
