Because most of that is land, and land doesn't vote. You're basically looking at rural areas with very little population, and those areas tend to vote republican, so the map paints the entire state red. This might not sound like a big deal, but an organized well-funded ground game in a close election is everything. If everyone worried did something, this election would be tilted heavily to one side.

I always vote. But coming from a non battleground state it sometimes feels like my vote doesn't matter when those few electoral states decide the election. Time for the electoral college to be eliminated elections to be decided by all Americans.

Because most of that is land, and land doesn't vote. You're basically looking at rural areas with very little population, and those areas tend to vote republican, so the map paints the entire state red. There's a different map that shows a more realistic view that the vast VAST majority of the country is left-leaning.

Biden won GA when he was still popular and only by 11K. Now Bidenomics is not popular so will be hard to replicate. Kamala has extreme position on fracking so PA is tough.
It's likely for them to win multiple battleground states other than georgia and pennsylvania as well. Remember in 2020 the entire election was decided by 40,000 votes spread out across battleground states.

First of all, they think that somehow it makes their party the valid choice to vote for if their name matches our system of government. The reality is that the platforms of each of these parties have little to do with their name.
They also misunderstand what Democracy and Republic mean.
Republic means that the government is a public matter, i.e. it is not a kingdom. Democracies are absolutely a type of Republic. Which means you can be a Republic and a Democracy at the same time.
They also believe that Republic means that you elect politicians who do the legislating for you. In actuality, that is called a Representative Democracy.
And they think that when people vote directly on a law, that's a "Democracy. In actuality, that is called a Direct Democracy.
Direct Democracy and Representative Democracy ARE BOTH KINDS OF DEMOCRACIES.
Another thing they don't understand is that they think America is 100% a Representative Democracy and 0% a Direct Democracy. This is also wrong. In many states, we are more of a "Hybrid Democracy," which means that your ballot will have a mixture of political offices to vote on (Representative) and amendments / referendums to vote on (Direct).
That’s where you and your party just don’t seem to understand. We are not a Democracy. We are a Republic.
