Yea it is, I have them and yea these are those renamed. They legit do the same exact thing. Maybe they tweaked some things but I can’t imagine they spent the extra time and $ to do that 😂

Or the dino set from fear factory. Or Corey from trivium. I believe all 3 signature sets has the S in the middle of the pickups.

Very clever using a Jim Root jazzmaster for this.

I know it's mainly for heavy tones and chugging, but that neck clean tone is nice.

These are similar to the MT but there's some differences in the chugginess and they clean up a lot better than the MT set does at least to my ears

Im very happy about this the EMTY are my favorites better than Fluence modern to me and way better than Loomis blackouts.

I love Duncans, they sound aggressive and precise, when I stop forgetting to change the battery, I will definitely try these active ones xD, I am very happy with Nazgul on my 7-string and with Pegasus on the six-string baritone \m/

If you unplug your guitar it doesn't drain the battery.

@@shawngraham4075 Thanks for your advice, until recently I tried some Fishman Fluence with the rechargeable battery. I think it's great how they are moving forward with the issue of batteries, but in general active humbuckers are not my thing at the moment =)

It's less cringe than calling them "Nu Metal" if these are actually rebranded Mick Thomson Blackouts. Also, there's a lot of good "alt metal" bands out there such as Deftones, Tool, Chevelle, etc.
