This update will significantly reduce (or eventually eliminate, hopefully?) the GREEN label...and I'm in favor of fewer colors, keeping it simple is easiest for the consumer IMO.
@victortoombs4754 Good question. I just took a quick count and it's roughly 150 graded copies right now. Probably another 500 raw. I've started trying to focus my graded collection a bit. I don't see myself ever getting much higher than 250 at any one point in time.
@sportsmags Nice! If I had two identical copies of an S.I., and they both received a 9.0 grade (one graded by PSA and one by CGC), which would be more valuable?
Amazing video BRAD looking forward to seeing how the two slabs compare between CGC and PSA that Larry Bird autograph is nice. Are you looking to sell it?
Curious, have you or Jim tried to interview Scott Smith, the SI King? His collection just shot to the moon, eh? Confusing why he got so many autographs on subscription issues.
the hobby is really starting to roll it will be awesome to see this hobby in five years even with psa grading the pop reports should still be way less than sports cards
Signature Series on magazines is in effect at shows where CGC and/or JSA has a presence. There are “witnesses” available to accompany you to the signing area and vouch for the autograph’s authenticity.
I have a bunch of signed SI’s that have the JSA sticker and cards authentication as well. When sending in those magazines, are you sending the cards as well? What happens to the cards, will they be mailed back or encapsulated in the magazine holder?
@@SportsGuru17 Great questions, Melissa. I would assume we should send the card with it, but I'm not positive about the details. I'll email CGC to ask and report back in these comments on what I find out.
Subscription magazines will take this hobby to the next level
I love the look of those labels!
I verified that CGC will not discount grade due to JSA sticker. Hopefully PSA doesn’t either if JSA stickered.

@@victortoombs4754 I'd say the only legitimate answer to that right now is that time will tell!
That’s some vintage stuff right there.

@troytutti5415 Thanks! Not sure yet what my plan will be with that one.
Keep me in mind if you’re selling it

@gcxred4kat9 Yes, I actually did reach out to him about a year ago but didn't get a response. We are FB friends now though so I may try again.

@@sportsmagsIve never seen them put cards in slabs in comics probably because it blocks item or could damage it. I would keep my card.
