How many inches is it between each batten

That depends on the tile or slate being used.

@@jakey9023It's nothing to do with the felt as that only makes the roofs waterproof and durable , In the UK we use old cement tiles which don't get made anymore which are 12 1/2 inches

@@winstonchurchill5731 I know... I'm a roofer 😂👍🏻 u asked what is the distance between each batten and that depends on your gauge which is different on every tile.
