I kid you not, I've just discovered this amazing series yesterday, and was devastated when I realized it only had 2 episodes; guess what showed up on my recommendation today!
4:27 'your programmer will hate you for it' As a programmer, yes. Yes we will. That bone is the foundation for placement and basically if you animate it it wont move on our end and everything else will move relevant to it which is super wonky snd completely the opoosite of what either of us want.
Your tutorials are the best Spine Tutorials I've seen, keep up with this I really hope you get the attention you deserve for these really high-quality videos
You're voice is easy to listen to and you made a quality to follow tutorial with very quality info. The TLDR is nice as well. RUclips is seriously missing decent spine tutorials.
This is the best series - short, compact and all in one knowledge. I'm looking forward to the Part 4, 5 , 6 ... I love your explanation style . Thank you so much . May God bless you.
This series is awesome! The production is insane, the explanation is the best, and I hope you can continue teaching through these videos. Perhaps RUclips isn't the best platform to deliver it to a huge audience, but they are exquisite learning tools!
These Spine2D tutorial have been very helpful. And they are, to me possibly the best Spine2D tutorial I could find out there. I don't know what happened and what took you so long but I'm here to let you know that we'll be waiting for part 4 forevermore.
I love your tutorials!! I tried to learn spine to animate my illustrations a few years ago but there weren't a lot of recourses at the time to help. Then i got busy but I'm back on it and I'm so relieved to see that the community of People producing helpful content had increased since i tried last time
I'm glad you're back to it! I remember having that same problem when I started learning 5 years ago. I had to learn a lot of what I know on the job instead!
God woman how cool you are, even though I knew almost everything a long time ago and almost do not understand English, the way you explain everything cool is just super, you are great, thank you
Aww well thank you! Happy to hear it's clear, especially when so many folks in the Spine community speak so many different languages! I'd love to make these translated some day into other languages.
Thank you for making this, have been waiting for this to continue :D Your videos are very high quality and deserve far more attention that I hope you will get. Looking forward to learning more.
This is handsdown the best spine tutorial! The concepts are explained so well and I learned more from this video than I have watched numerous others. The presentation and beginner friendly explanation is definitely why! Thank you! Would love to see you continue this series!
Great video! Would be nice to see more of it. Like the next part and then the full animation process. At least for idle . Spine really lacks nice and beginner friendly tutorials. Like it's some obscure niche program and not an industry standard, which it is.
Omg such an amazing overview!! You're such a good teacher. Like I enjoy learning from you! And the lip syncing! I always struggled with that. You inspire me.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make these so pretty and so well explained - I am really enjoying making a character along side with the videos
Hi Anipalooza! Your videos have been super helpful! Do you have any advice or documentation on how to make character controls for facial features, which appear off to the side? The way you have it set up at 2:06. Thank you!
Hi! I don't have it documented just yet (one day!) but it involves constraining bones from the face to the bones off to the side. For the eyes for example, I created the eye bones on top of the face to move the mesh, duplicated those bones (without the mesh weighting), and then put them off to the side. Then the bones at the face are targeting the bones off to the side with transform constraints on their location and rotation. Hope that makes sense!
Hii Anipalooza! I just learned that you can show the commands that you are using. Maybe you already know this, but perhaps if you're done beginner guides this can be helpful. You can show the hotkey popups by pressing `ctrl + shift + K` (for MacOS, `cmd + shift + K`). If you want to hide them, press `ctrl + shift + K` again. Thanks again for your videos 🙇♀.
Yes, this video doesn’t cover meshes so your images won’t move at this stage. By now you’ve probably already figured it out, but you can create meshes using the “mesh” check box in the tree view, then after you’ve made the mesh use the weights window to bind the bones to the mesh!

@@Anipalooza Hello, really good tutorials as i just started with Spine pro, any chance to make more videos?
The star vs tree rigging concept was brilliant! Really blew my mind to hear it broken down like that
It took me soo long to come up with a good way to explain where to put the first bone! I'm glad it works

As a programmer, yes. Yes we will. That bone is the foundation for placement and basically if you animate it it wont move on our end and everything else will move relevant to it which is super wonky snd completely the opoosite of what either of us want.

next plz..thank u so much for ur work!!
where is the next part for this? I have followed exactly and made so far but now I need to know how to attach rig to the body

YOU JUST BLEW MY MIND!
my images are not moving when the bones are moved, is there a missing step of the mesh?
Yes, this video doesn’t cover meshes so your images won’t move at this stage. By now you’ve probably already figured it out, but you can create meshes using the “mesh” check box in the tree view, then after you’ve made the mesh use the weights window to bind the bones to the mesh!

keep it up . your tutorials are superbs. 👍
Glad you like them!
Isn't it easier to ctrl click images when you create bones so they are automatically assigned?
Thank you, again!
I am super impressed by the quality and effort!
This videos are so helpful...........Please post the next videos
Question, I have imported my images and they already sit in the root, do i leave them there and add a skeleton over the top?
Yup! If your images are already in the spot you want them to be in relation to the root, then you can just start making the skeleton.
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
so you have to parent the slots to the bone?
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this tutorial! It really helps A LOT. Do you have any way to accept donations for such amazing quality content?
очень подробно) спасибо за видео
Where's the part 4? :(
Strange. I made IK constrain just like in this video and the red dot just sliding along the bone not standing at the end of bone.
Did you make sure to select two bones at the same time first? This will happen if you select only one bone.
@@Anipalooza Thanks It was it
You skipped a lot of steps, like saying you have to click the root bone to create bones properly connected to it.
Am i missing something or we don't have the next video yet? On the playlist it says 1 hidden items :)
Oh weird! Thanks for pointing that out! No next video yet, sorry, but it's still a plan!
Thanks @@Anipalooza
