Here’s a question…when is it too late to consider becoming CPA. I’ve worked in accounting for over 10 years and earn a decent salary. But I noticed job posts are requiring certifications regardless of years of experience
If you are already an Accountant, I don't think there is a limit (but not 70 obviously). I would think even if you are 50, CPA will give you a great ROI on the effort (but the younger, say 25-40, the better)
I currently work in banking for a credit union. After getting my CPA would it be more beneficial for me to leave to get some public accounting experience and return to banking or apply for a position with my accounting department and work my way up the ranks that way? I speak Chinese and English. Do I get much better chance getting the job if a US company is doing business with China and needs an account who is bilingual?

I do believe in accounting the work-life balance can be more stressful as there are tight deadlines to close books, send financials, etc!
