Great video! Sometimes I really enjoy using soluble ink. Have you ever tried the Elegant Writer calligraphy pen? It bleeds a beautiful shade of greenish blue and when dapped with a tissue leaves a lovely pink shade.
Ahh sorry the pen got in the way - I actually don't know the exact model, it's a rather extravagant gift from a couple of years ago, a Japanese brand. I feel the need to wheel it on occasion as it's a very lovely pen. Someone is likely to comment here with the model at some point!

Not yet!
I sketched and painted along with you. I really enjoy learning about inks and washes. Thank you so much.
You are so welcome!
Enjoyed the tutorial but had a hard time learning because of the red pen. What is the brand and model?

thank you, its like adding another "voice" to the choir ... 😜
Perfect!
That was really helpful Toby. Brilliant.
Glad you think so!
I just don’t know how you do it. I tried, but it’s just awful. It’s really discouraging. Some people just have a gift I guess.
Sorry for your bad experience, keep it light and simple at first and you'll more likely hit success!
@@TobySketchLoose Thanks for the response. And certainly no need for you to apologize! It’s a real pleasure to watch you work and create.
Thank you. I enjoy doing this quite a bit.
Glad you enjoy it!
Love this Toby x
Thanks so much Lynne and lovely to hear from you!
Just did this with blue ink and water ... Will leave it there as it looks good as is.
Sounds great :)
