    Wow, super clear. Nice long shallow dives. I don't get wanting to go deep when the life is shallow.

      We like both honestly. There’s something super wild knowing you’re so deep under water but yes, shallow dives will give you far more life. Deeper dives are great for wrecks

    Note to Bonaire drivers: The Caribbean's fleet of vehicles are overwhelmingly manual transmission, so if you're like me and haven't even seen such a vehicle since the 1990s, you won't be able to get around.

      This is pretty true in a lot of areas of the world. Fortunately Aaron can drive a stick but we had an automatic on the island.

    2:11 AH - I LOVE WATCHING EELS SWIM! One of my favorite sights while diving, when they finally get out of their little holes 😝
    Great video! I'm heading to Bonaire in August and this got me SO excited!

    Thank you for this video. I have not dove Bonaire since 1999, and it is just depressing how much destruction has occurred over the years. I thought that I wanted to dive it this year to make sure, but now I can aim for other goals.

      I lived there from 1992 - 1998 and visited in 2011. Then I noticed that there where 90% less corals. Personally I think a lot has to do with the dumping of all the sewage from the cesspools in the sea at the northpoint. They do this at Bonaire and Curacao. The nutrient values of the sea has skyrocketed, on my visit 3 years ago I even started to see green algea everywhere growing on the sand in the water. I would never see green algea back when I lived there in the 90's

    Awesome video, thanks for sharing your experience. Bonaire is a dream vacation for me, can't wait to make it out there. Also good filming and color correction, this was a lot of fun to watch.

    This is such a great video. Question: what are the colorful ball-looking things on your BCs? Thanks!

      Thanks for watching! Those are little clips that we can put our regulator mouthpieces into. Helps keep them off the boat seats or out of the sand between dives.

    Awesome video! What settings did you use on the GoPro 8? I've never had luck uploading videos that output 2160p like yours.

    • @VeganVoyagers
      @VeganVoyagers  2 года назад +1

      Unfortunately we don’t have out 8’s anymore so we don’t know what they were set to. It’s possible it upscaled when we exported from Final Cut because our main camera shoots in 4k
