Ex-Carntyne 65 years ago. Were the houses renovated, they look so different ? Went to Rigby Street School with coal stove and chimney pipe for heating. We used to block the chimney , class was smoke filled so we got away early ! Thanks for the memories Paul

I left Maryhill in Glasgow in 1961 but still have fond memories of it and its people. When ever I see multi story buildings with red sand stone I always think of Glasgow.

Aye M8 Danny Macs was the right hand side of Duke Street. Changed to The Pippin. Magic video m8 i was brought up in Whitby St., Williamson St. then Westmuir St.
