If I refrigerate coated candy over night will it look the same? I love the clear class look and I don’t want that to change, But I need to make a lot and the night before would be the latest I can prepare them. Also I think a chilled fruit inside the crunchy candy coating would make it an even more delightful experience, what’s your opinion? Please and thank you for giving your time🥰
Perfect! I’m trying to learn some new candies to make for Easter this year. I’m going to try this. Thank you for teaching me something new! I make cooking videos too! It’s a pleasure to learn from other talented creators like you! I hope we can learn more from each other! Have a great weekend!
I left mine for about 6-7 minutes and it’s been about 20 minutes since I dipped in my fruits and they’re still not hard. Should I put them in the fridge now? I think it’s because where I live is really hot.
That means your sugar wasn’t ready to be dipped in. Sugar hardens up almost immediately. I am sorry. You might have to do this again. Before you dip your fruit test your sugar in ice water see it hardens and breaks easily. That means it is ready. Your sugar was still not hard boil candy stage.
Ok. Grapes you can do 2 days. But any other not for long. Because you are dipping this in hot syrup. So they kinda already get little cooked. So grapes stays longer. Strawberry not long. Thanks.
This is so nice my daughter and I just made it a fruit candy We enjoyed it We love your video u guys can check ours as well by clicking at the pictures
I just made this for the first time today. I boiled it correctly and I have a thermometer but while sitting, the coating started to almost detach from the fruit and the fruit got real soft. How can I prevent this

Anyone know how far ahead I can make this for a wedding and does it need to be refrigerated?
Ok. Grapes you can do 2 days. But any other not for long. Because you are dipping this in hot syrup. So they kinda already get little cooked. So grapes stays longer. Strawberry not long. Thanks.
@@BrownGirlsKitchen ok thanks
Would it work the same if I microwave it instead of boiling it?
I never done microwave. Sorry
Do you mix why'll it is boiling?
Mix what. I am sorry I didn’t understand. You coat the fruits after you take it out of heat.
@@BrownGirlsKitchen girl mix the sugar and shit wym

I want to make this but I don’t have a thermometer. What should I do??
Hey Maya. Well after 6-7 min later put some sugar syrup in cold ice water and see if that crunchy it up. Then you know its ready for your fruits.
Brown Girls Kitchen oh ok thank you so much ❤️❤️😁
How can I dip if I don't have a stick?
Use a fork may be.
This is so nice my daughter and I just made it a fruit candy
We enjoyed it
We love your video u guys can check ours as well by clicking at the pictures
Low, medium or high heat?
Medium
How long do you let it sit to harden
It hardens in 30-40 secs.
Thank you! Trying this today.
I just made this for the first time today. I boiled it correctly and I have a thermometer but while sitting, the coating started to almost detach from the fruit and the fruit got real soft. How can I prevent this
You have to coat this really fast. You can’t be double coating where fruit got cooked. Just practice. Try grapes and orange first.
@@BrownGirlsKitchen ty for the advice!
I did the same thing you said to do and i keep messing up and the chopstick test wont work either pls help me
My mom forgot the corn syrup or something but will it still work?
Yes. It will just take little longer to get the temperature up.
Brown Girls Kitchen okay thank you!
