    If I refrigerate coated candy over night will it look the same? I love the clear class look and I don’t want that to change, But I need to make a lot and the night before would be the latest I can prepare them. Also I think a chilled fruit inside the crunchy candy coating would make it an even more delightful experience, what’s your opinion? Please and thank you for giving your time🥰

    I left mine for about 6-7 minutes and it’s been about 20 minutes since I dipped in my fruits and they’re still not hard. Should I put them in the fridge now? I think it’s because where I live is really hot.

    • @BrownGirlsKitchen
      @BrownGirlsKitchen  4 года назад +1

      That means your sugar wasn’t ready to be dipped in. Sugar hardens up almost immediately. I am sorry. You might have to do this again. Before you dip your fruit test your sugar in ice water see it hardens and breaks easily. That means it is ready. Your sugar was still not hard boil candy stage.

    • @BrownGirlsKitchen
      @BrownGirlsKitchen  3 года назад +2

      Ok. Grapes you can do 2 days. But any other not for long. Because you are dipping this in hot syrup. So they kinda already get little cooked. So grapes stays longer. Strawberry not long. Thanks.

    I just made this for the first time today. I boiled it correctly and I have a thermometer but while sitting, the coating started to almost detach from the fruit and the fruit got real soft. How can I prevent this

    • @BrownGirlsKitchen
      @BrownGirlsKitchen  4 года назад +1

      You have to coat this really fast. You can’t be double coating where fruit got cooked. Just practice. Try grapes and orange first.
