WRC 9 includes many improvements in vehicle behaviour, driving realism and new game modes - including Clubs, a free roaming zone to test cars’ settings, and an enriched Career Mode - allowing you to truly put yourself in the shoes of a rally driver. The Clubs Mode also offers the possibility to create your very own championships from A to Z, to compete with your friends or the community.

It's good but I'm not buying anymore rally games on switch until they actually put in damage modelling. Grid autusport has awesome damage effects.
That's cool but Grid Autosport isn't a rally game.
Grid Autosport is way badass on the Switch, I love it! I grabbed V-Rally 4 for cheap and play that for a quick rally fix!
@ShadowBocksin nope, my point was more that the switch is capable of showing damage modelling. I like grid autosport but it's not brilliant. It just seems to be that none of the rally games have damage modelling which is really off putting especially when even the ps1 and 2 had damage modelling so this makes no sense not to have it.

@@bednar23 the whole point of rallying is to not wreck your car. Why would you care about damage modeling?
I got WRC8 on my Switch, and it's one of my favorites. It does have some minor performance issues, but it's only on a handfull of stages.
I'll put this new one on my list :)

Watch some reviews. I would be more of surprised if this can run with 20fps, without overheating the Switch for 5 minutes of gameplay!!!
Get grid autosport. Really great
Check SwitchUp review, they’re reviews are normally decent in regards to frame rate etc.
I don't know if I would want to play a sim racing game with Switch controllers, since they don't have analogue triggers. The WRC games are not as intuitive to play with a controller in general, when compared with titles like Assetto Corsa and DiRT Rally.

I recently saw WRC 8 on a DEEP sale on the eshop and thought about buying it, but didn't end up doing so. It looks promising though and I'll probably try it eventually. Just a heads up to any who might be interested, it's worth checking to see if the previous game is still on sale.

Game looks and runs like garbage in actual gameplay, they picked the very best spots for this trailer. A new Switch with DLSS would fix this issue.
