Reading books on investing is impressive! It's great to see such dedication to financial education. The real key to getting rich is applying what you've learned consistently and making smart, informed decisions. Keep up the great work!!
Reading and learning are crucial first steps, but the true transformation happens when you start applying that knowledge consistently. It's all about making smart, informed decisions and sticking to a solid financial plan. Keep it up, and you'll see great results!
Financial books provide a solid foundation for investing, but working with a financial advisor elevated my strategy. Their tailored guidance boosted my portfolio by over 80% in just two weeks, showing the power of combining self-education with expert advice.
Agreed, opting for financial advise is now the best way to go about the investing. Both beginners and Intermediate investors can stay profitable when working with an adviser. Reading books is good but making profit is better
This intrigues me. I've looked up financial advisors online, but finding one to connect with is a bit difficult. Do you mind if I ask for your recommendation??
My CFA Julianne Iwersen Niemann, a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
Great video! I would highly recommend the book 'Masonic Tricks for Making Money.' It doesn't delve into theories about Masons but rather presents factual accounts of how they accumulated wealth and how ordinary individuals can benefit from their methods. It's a practical guide based on real-life success stories, offering valuable insights for anyone looking to improve their financial standing
My first Finance related book was The Simple Path to Wealth, this opened my eyes to index funds and gave me hope for the future. Also the US related references are fine because here in the UK we have our own equivalence’s.
MONEY - Hi Toby. Just started investing in the last two weeks & your channel is now my go to. For a newbie, your investing advice is easy to understand, informative, balanced & sensible. Keep up the good work.
I've actually been waiting for the 50th anniversary edition of A Random Walk Down Wall St to be published before reading it for the first time - thanks for reminding me, ordered now!
Money! I watched this after I bought the book by J. Bogle - The little book of common sense investing and I would love to get more books, really love that kind of reading..
Excellent! Reading is the backbone of smart money management and investment, and your list of books is right on point. The more you read, the more you stay out of trouble, and Wall Street is loaded with that! Thanks for you great advice about books and investment and... MONEY.
Money. I have read the first two books and can also recommend both. The Psychology of Money sounds very interesting, that is is a book I will definitely read soon.
Money - thanks for doing the book section. I was the person who previously asked for this in a older video. Currently half way through the psychology of money. It's a great read and is reinforcing my views on money but also understanding other people's views, that can be soo different depending on their environment. Thanks again
I read two books in the 90s - rich dad, poor dad and the motley Fool. After that I was both equipped and inspired to start investing. As a result, in my mid 50s, I don't need to work any more to fund my lifestyle. It really does work, as long as you actually start, keep things simple, stay consistent and wait 25 years or so (it soon comes around, don't worry ..). Yes, I also regret not starting earlier. I dabbled when I was 28 but didn't start my main plan until 30.
@@abdulrahman31350 they probably have a ton of books now. But to be honest, if you listen to the podcast every day, it covers the same things as the book really.
@@abdulrahman31350 oh and as a bonus feature .. I think Morgan Housel works there as he's often on the podcast (author of one of Toby's recommendations)
Money - By the way lovely content, easy to get your head around the stuff that has been mentioned. Thank you for adding a bit of a realistic or should I say critical touch to everything. I recently read the Psychology of Money, awesome book and an amazing recommendation.
MONEY - Thanks for all the great content and advices , I'm starting to read some books about money from Tony Robbins and I'm looking to read the ones you recommended , keep up the good content , greetings from Colombia 👍
Money! Thank you for this video, I’m always looking for videos that can direct and inform me on literature that will help with investing. I also liked how you have ranked them! Good stuff, thanks again!
Money . Very interested in educating myself more , and less on following the advice of 100 people on Twitter . This video was great on the beginning steps
It gets paid in automatically by your SIPP provider not long after you deposit into the account - but if you are a higher rate tax payer you can claim back via self assessment more relief.
@@TobyNewbatt I am on salary scarifying scheme after 13 months of battling with employer 😄 I get relief at source of 42% tax benefits and gave up 75% of my salary for pension. Last three years I could not max out 40k allowance. I wish I have invested in pension funds earlier but I’m glad that my investments progress is getting better
MONEY Wonderful video, as always Toby. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm with us investors. Watching your videos makes the whole process less daunting and more enjoyable! Have a lovely weekend.

Any chance you could review The Rees Approach: A Beginner's Guide to Making Money in the Stock Market?
Money. What would you think if you could only ever invest in index funds Toby ? Do you have to have something to make investing fun/interesting ?
I definitely like to have some stock picks but it’s all just about managing risk and keeping it to a level you’re happy with. Also a little bit of crypto too, gotta have some speculation in there for me 👍
