Really nice looking window unit! I personally am not the biggest fan of LG, but this unit is still good! And yes I believe this would have a variable speed compressor, as this unit is an inverter.
Fan and Hvac dude yes those are my favorite too. I prefer Frigidaire to LG, as my unit is basically a Frigidaire and it works great, and so do the units that other people I know have a Frigidaire. Any unit from 2000-2005 is good really, my relatives have three 2004 Daewoos, and they all work great, they are better than any modern Frigidaire or LG unit I have seen today.
Fans, HVAC, and More! Your ge looks a lot like the arctic king 5000 btu window air conditioner. My favorite modern units are toshiba, lg, ge, and Frigidaire.
Fan and Hvac dude and because of all of the positive things I have heard about LG now, and that some models are made in Thailand I’m convinced that LG is good. I think that LG is good, but I still think that Frigidaire is even better.

Fans, HVAC, and More! The 2 lgs I have work good. Out of all the units in my house I like this one the 2020 ge 5000 btu the 2002 ge 5200 btu the most.
