I've been a huge fan of Marc for over 30 years.
My favorite part of these interviews is that Orny doesn’t do them because of what his audience demands, but because he is genuinely interested in the person and the topics. We just get to watch.
It’s like a musician who writes music for themselves and is glad when the listening audience enjoys it but would do it even if they didn’t.
Love this John. I always respected the musicians that wrote 12 minute songs knowing the radio would only play 3 minute ones.
He did such a good job removing the background noise that we don't even know what the heck you guys are talking about.

29:15 27:56 Great shows Orny, I thought I recognized your guest I’m a 70 yr. old and I knew all the musicians even Scott Thurston I graduated a year after Scott did plus I saw him back when we were 13, his band called the Canvas Bag best in so. Oregon but except for Mark but I knew I’d seen him somewhere before and please pass on to Mark the compliments but he played the guitar parts absolutely perfectly but I thought Mark’s was perfect so now I’ve put two & two together & now I know his name & for a young guy guitar player , Orny get a lesson from mark it’ll go far so wwwwoa a new fan of you too

How about having artificial intelligence take your order on the phone, you go to the restaurant to pick up your order because you ordered it to go, and they have a space for the tip. They do a little pirouette and take the pizza off the shelf behind them and hand it to you like they want to have a $4 tip no thanks. I walked out without paying any tips. Carry out is no longer a tipping situation. Sorry folks.

Tips are not gratuities. They are fees for service because the business owners, restaurants, delivery companies, etc. won't pay a living wage because they would have to raise their prices and hence lose customers. So it is the customers' responsibility. If you ain't tipping properly you are a scumbag, just like the business owners who neglect to raise their prices so their workers can be paid fairly. Don't be a scumbag; pay your servers/delivery people, etc. properly.
