Thank you, Andrew! 🙌 I thought an airline like Southwest tried a few small, in-flight live performances with mixed reviews. I'm rather shy. However, sitting for hours in uncomfortable silence still seems odd to me. Many people appear unable to exchange even brief pleasantries, even when flying somewhere fun like Hawaii. 🌋
Some of us have always resonated with The Bradys because we too are stuck in the 70s........ and this song just cements, as per its title, what good time music in innocence is.......!!!!!....
Laugh all you want, but ive been a B.B. fan ever since i saw em in syndication back during my 80s childhood. These movies are funny as can be. This scene in particular is hillarious, and Ben Stellers wife there is smokin hot.
I hear you. I love the show the way I love the Batman 1966 series ... campy, silly, unrealistic fun. And then when they did the Brady Bunch movies in the 90s it was hilarious, a combo of spoof and love letter to the show. So funny and so spot-on with the in-jokes, costumes, sets, recurring gags, and all that stuff.
@@eduardo_corrochio oh mannnnn, the 66 batman series RULES!! I have all of that on my bluray box set. Yeah, I enjoyed the B.Bunch movies too. The songs they sung were hillarious, especially on the plane when the stewardess told em all to shut up and return to their seats. I guess being stuck in the 70s while living life n the 90s could have its moments.
The 90s or the 70s? Funny I remember when this movie came out in 1996, it was laughing at the Brady's and their style from the early-mid 1970s. Basically now the same distance from the 1990s.
@@diablo666541 So, just make sure you're not on a plane with theater people who will actually do this. There's a video of The Lion King cast singing on a plane.
I don't know what's funnier. The Brady Kids being able to spontaneously make music play and do a song and dance or the nun just happening to pack a tambourine in her carry on luggage.
Man, if I had been a passenger on that plane, I would've given the Bradys a standing ovation. Maybe get an encore or two: Sunshine day and Keep on movin'. Those other passengers suck and are probably Partridge family fans! 😅
Whos playing the drums during this goodtime music? Does the family have some sort of backup drummer? Never mind that gregs the only one with a guitar! 😅
Both movies were affectionate and satirical at the same time. That kind of was a good angle to take ... it wasn't mean and it wasn't too much of an homage. I love how there's a slew of little Easter eggs for fans to notice in them. I think anyone unfamiliar with the show probably would not enjoy the films out of that particular context. Many of us wacky fans can recite certain dialogue by heart, and consider the series comfort food, a fantasy household that we wanted to visit because troubles faded in 25 minutes. And you could write a song, collect some cash to make a record, head down to the studio to record the vocals and find that backing tracks were somehow all ready for you, LOL.
@@eduardo_corrochio I just watched both movies for the first time, and I actually really really enjoyed them as someone who’s never watched the show! What worked for me was the ridiculousness of their unrelenting 70s-ness within a very 90s setting. Very Addams Family. Undoubtedly a fan of the show will appreciate this more, but I think all it takes is a penchant for camp and an understanding of the workings of a sitcom to enjoy this. And honestly the show’s theme playing in the beginning of the movie is enough for new viewers like me to understand the kooky family dynamic and the vibe within their own little world. It’s very clear that despite how cynical it can sometimes feel, it was made with a lot of love and appreciation
In these movie, they tried to portray the 1990s and the people as being mean spirited. In reality, I found people to be somewhat laid back and friendly. At least compared to the 1980s.

We need more people like the Brady bunch with good morals and good qualities. If you all know what I mean.
Well the flight attendant's request for them to sit down was justified. She was thinking of their safety. As for the other passengers they were just grouchy because it was a long flight.
Airplane announcer should mind her own business and airplane customers clapping that is so rude For the Brady kids. Brady kids are music group respect that
I work as a flight attendant and I would happily encourage this kind of Brady love on all of my flights ❤

Also, that amount of space in the aisles!
@@thegreenmanofnorwich, that very thought also crossed my mind!! haha
No, it'll distract me from listening to my heavy metal slayer music! 😅
The nun playing the tambourine was a nice touch.
Actually you say Sister
@henrydawkins8467, I know, right? She reminds me of the Nun from “Airplane”.
@henrydawkins8467, I’ve wondered if the writers were paying homage to “Airplane” which was also produced by Paramount.

I absolutely LOOOVE THE ‘hand clap, jazz hands’ move!!!! It’s soooo off beat and on beat at the same time!!!😂🤣😂🤣

It's syncopation. It's pretty sophisticated.

Both of the Brady movies were hilarious❗️
Yep. Both guilty pleasures of mine !!
I love The Brady Bunch movies. They are so so so cool and awesome.

They are real far out in a radical way!
Me too!
The casting for this was SPOT ON! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
no it wasn't.

Old or new The Brady Bunch kicks ass.

They're too far in their own world to be embarrassed.

I love my aloha shirts. I have plenty of them. I also love 70s clothes. Great era living as a child. I would not want to be a child today.
Clothes were totally groovy back then.
🦅Well I guess nobody is going to talk about the num with the tambourine and was smiling during the Brady's impromptu performance. Insane

Jan’s hair 😂
The reason there wasn't a third Brady movie: They ran out of songs to sing.
There actually was a third movie. All the kids were recast and the story took place in the White House. It’s one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen
There is a 100% chance I would wear a shirt just like Peter's!
The passengers are the best part hahahaha

The young actor playing Bobby plays Detective Jay Halstead on Chicago PD
No kidding! 😏 Chicago PD has such serious characters, and I try to imagine the actors doing musical theater...
It still kills me that the actress playing Cindy is Rhonda from Hey Arnold lol
