I have never watched this movie before today. What a beautiful movie. Now, I'm not much into the Hallmark movie scene, because they're mostly holiday Cinderella type stories. But, this is a change in their regular movie formula. I have to say that it's probably my favorite Sidney Poitier movie, and just about the best thing Mary Louise-Parker has been in since "Fried Green Tomatoes". I've added this to my TUBI saved list.
I just watched this movie for the first time since it's airing, and it was slotted as a " Made For TV Movie " but till today, I'd never heard of it or should I say paid attention though I've watched the " HALLMARK " channel many times. I was so impressed at the shear simplicity and yet, great performance by Mr.Poitier as the central character, Ms. Parker and all the supporting cast till I looked it up on Bing, and highly recommend it as a learning experience as well as it's entertainment value, for families of all ages and types across the board.Loved it!

I first watched The Simple Life of Noah Dearborn in February 2009. A beautiful movie with a wonderful performance by Sidney Poitier.

That guitar solo is hauntingly beautiful and touching.
Joseph Conlan. He composed the score. It’s not available commercially but the guitar solo plays at the end credits. You could rip the audio for playback perhaps.
