For cyberpunk, regarding the modules in the stretch goals not included in the core, all of the stretch goal content is going to be divided out into four different expansion boxes that can be purchased in retail I believe. There are only a few crowdfunding exclusives that won’t be going out in retail. For better or worse you can purchase them after the fact unlike cmon stretchgoals.
You forgot Nemesis Retaliation! I agree with what others here have said. When it comes to Awaken Realms I’ll feel pretty comfy backing it if I like the theme.
I have to say, that the last two games I got from AR which I are my games I would like theoretically they fell short. Lords of Ragnaroek and Tamashii. They aren't bad, but they aren't really good either.
I backed Lands of Evershade. I just hope I’m still excited for it by the time I get it. 😅 I almost went for Enormity because at first glance it seemed like something I’d really like. But when I dug a little deeper I changed my mind.
Also backed Evershade. Kinda All-In. What worries me is the story/combat ratio. I want it to be possible to get through with almost no combat but also with a lot of combat depending on your characters and playstyle. We'll see. :)
Decent video m8 - I'm new to kickstarters/boardgames, but I agree with your take Awaken Realms games especially - I'm going on a hope and prayer with Evershade and Grimcoven based on thier reputation
I'd gotten 7th Citadel retail, and backed the expansion, stunned though - had no idea it had raised so much. Hoping I'm still in the hobby when Lands of Evershade releases retail - but can't be sure so didn't back it. Earth Abundance was the only other one I backed... but probably don't need it as it doesn't improve solo from what I've seen.
It's funny to me regarding Valheim. As Chris was giving his thoughts on that one, I was thinking "Yes! That's exactly why it's the game I'm MOST excited for in 2025!" But of course then he promptly plops it in the D section. Just goes to show that not everyone is looking for the same thing. I actually really want a much more simple kind of co-op, survival, boss battling kind of game. Some of my family and friends have ZERO interest in putting time into the bigger more awesome games. I've played through Gloomhaven, Tainted Grail, 7th Continent, ISS Vanguard, Dice Throne Adventures, maybe a third of Oathsworn, and nearly one full campaign of 7th Citadel, as well as a few missions of Etherfields, Unsettled, and Burncycle with my guy gaming group. But the gaming group I have with my wife and sister-in-law is still more on the Pandemic side of things. I'm hoping they will JUST be able to get into Valheim with me. If anything, I'm still concerned it's going to be TOO complicated.
I have got quite a lot of Awaken realms games, and to be fair even without a rule book and knowing the theme and play-style I think their games are usually a good bet, I think the one that I didn't like the as much as I thought I would was ISS Vanguard, its the moving around the map book that got on my nerves, some of it is clever and thematic, but when just moving to the next area on the board is a slog on nearly every map, it starts to grind. Terraria is one I backed...for my kids, its one I will learn and play with my kids with they love Terraria and was really excited to see a board game of it, I am sure this is going into their room rather than sitting on my shelf in my games room. Euthia is a great game, but the storage is horrible and messy, far to many components, its a big barrier for playing the game, I have even got to the point where I just want to separate fierce powers from the core stuff and just play the core box and put the expansion in the loft, I am pinning my hopes on Cruel frost coming up with the goods to be able to store and sort components so you can dive into the game quicker. I love boss battlers, looking forward to Dante, Grimcoven but most of all BLOOD is the one I really am looking forward to the most. Enormity looks good, but they kind of killed it with the usual amount of FOMO expansions and shinny parts, the FOMO aspect of crowdfunding is something I am really starting to hate, I think enormity would have done much better if they had released the campaign after they had fully delivered ATO stuff.
I didn't know of Cthulhu Death May Die until recently and I had a shot at pledging for this latest crowdfunding but I had already blown my budget on DC United. Since, aside of playing solo I mostly would be playing with my wife, I think it was fine because I jumped on Marvel United afterwards and she did like it, whereas Cthulhu is a tougher sell for her. Still hurts that I missed out on this one tho.
I backed Homeland just for the new content. The two new factions, two new boards, new hirelings and new deck makes it a bargain and probably the best value for money Root product besides the base set.
I totally agree with TMNT Unmatched. I thought the campaign was going to be more. I wanted another small box with it with more heroes and villians or something else like that. I just felt let down with it. I didn't like the alternate art deck as the main thing they were unlocking.
I am really looking forward to Euthia: Cruel Frost. I got the original game (use printed bags and 3D printed hero boxes to make it easier to get to the table) second hand and skipped the middle expansion. I’ve never played Mage Knight. Euthia is just the right fit for me and my only big miniature game that I own so I really can’t compare it to other options.
For me CMON is a giant red flag, so their campaigns tends to go in D rank. AR games are great but ultimately don't interest me that much. Their last campaigns feeled like cashgrabs for me (they are in C rank). Go on Board Cyberpunk was not for me with the timed gameplay ( D rank for me). Dante Inferno : I did not care as i still wait for french version of drunagor apocalypse. Speakeasy was a A tier for me, but i'm a Lacerda / Euro enjoyer. Dying Light did not grab my attention (C Rank) Odalin did not interest me in the end, did not like the overall vibe of the game. CTG's 20 Strong is a great game for me when i have little time to play something at the end of the day. Tanglewood was a B tier for me. Euthia Cruel Frost is my most awaited expansion for a game i love ( A tier) Earth is great, i got the expansion but i think i'll stop at the first expansion. ( C tier) Enormity : can't say anything, i'm an ITU junkie at that point. ( A tier ) Monolith Board Games : the only one i wait to see what they do with it is L5R : Champions of Rokugan ( i really hope they don't mess that one).
So many big titles and i remember being excited for a lot of this games, but when it came to click that pledge button i did not back anything ( i only backed enormity but thats on you Chris )

the thunder road expansion is amazing. Now we have 2 great modes of play and they're both awesome. Easily S tier.
You forgot Nemesis Retaliation!

The Nemesis Retaliation campaign was in 2023
@gamebent, that’s right, it ended at end of 23. I was thinking it was early 24 lol
Earthborne Rangers was 12k short of a million and is now at 3.6 million in the pledge manager. Almost quadruple, what is going on!?
Yeah the glowing reviews released after the campaign ended made it one of the most insane pledge manager bumps ever.
I like your channel a lot, but are you rating the campaign or the game?
I was confused about this, too!
I backed Lands of Evershade. I just hope I’m still excited for it by the time I get it. 😅 I almost went for Enormity because at first glance it seemed like something I’d really like. But when I dug a little deeper I changed my mind.
Same for me for both games.

We'll see. :)

I was hoping to see Sweet Lands, any thoughts on that one?
34:42 That's the S slot! 😉

What about twisted cryptids? Last time i saw they raised 3mil on kickstarter.

Great video, thank you. And: Knee-sh, not nitch

Your opinion on Story of Many?
Valheim has mechanics that actually mimic the ones from the game.
Of all these in this video, Valheim is the one I'm most excited for. All-in backer. And no, I've never even played the video game!
You missed Twisted Cryptids, raised 3.4 million.
I wanted fire and ice so bad, but the campaign was not ready and lost me. TMNT nostalgia got me so i had to
Is sea beasts not on the list?
i criticized cyberpunk and lands of evershade, and i have to criticize ranking them so high too.
Didn't Kelp: Shark vs Octopus also surpassed 1 million?
Successfully funded December 5, 2023.
Where's Blood?
