Just letting you know, when training an amiibo, an amiibo will gain more “points” when they kill you with a move; meaning they’ll want to use that move more. So letting them intentionally kill you with moves you want them to use is a good thing. Also, if you jump a lot, then your amiibo will jump constantly, same with dodging, taunting, shielding, mining, and grabbing. Loved your video.
@@stich9276 in most major tournaments, yes, Steve is banned, because he can use his anvil to bring himself out of a tumbling animation early. Other characters can’t do this, and because it’s a bug, it’s effectively cheating.
Glad to see people still uploading amiibo content. And I'm glad to see that FINALLY someone trained one by putting on spirits before training and training by only using mirror matches. That is how you get the best results. Amiibo learn what moves to use, and that is difficult to teach when you're trying to use other characters to teach them matchups. They don't learn matchups. There’s also the whole ride a anvil down while grabbing a shieldbroken foe to delete people at any percent when shield broken. So you can’t shield vs Steve can’t hit him because he can just armor through and smack you anyway and he can block projectile spam with his blocks

You should make a follow up video and train Steve to do some more stuff like using his blocks and his TNT. Personally, I enjoy carting people onto the TNT and having them explode
