2. Attacks
LP - (Light Punch) * also named Weak Punch. Xbox 360 Controller= X \PS3 Controller= Square [ ]
MP - (Medium Punch) * also named Strong Punch. Xbox 360 Controller= Y \PS3 Controller= Triangle /\
HP - (Heavy Punch) * also named Fierce Punch. Xbox 360 Controller= RB(Right Blade) \PS3 Controller= R1
LK - (Light Kick) * also named Short Kick. Xbox 360 Controller= A \PS3 Controller= X
MK - (Medium Kick) * also named Forward Kick. Xbox 360 Controller= B \PS3 Controller= O
HK - (Heavy Kick) * also named Roundhouse Kick. Xbox 360 Controller= RT(Right Trigger) \PS3 Controller= R2
P - Any Punch Button
K - Any Kick Button
PP - Any two Punch Buttons (pressed at the same time)
KK - Any two Kick Buttons (pressed at the same time)
PPP - All Punch Buttons (pressed at the same time). Xbox 360 Controller= LB(Left Blade) \PS3 Controller= L1
KKK - All Kick Buttons (pressed at the same time). Xbox 360 Controller= LT(Left Trigger) \PS3 Controller= L2
3. Motions
↓ ↘ → - Press Down to Forward in a quick motion.
→ ↓ ↘ - Press Forward to Down to DownForward in a quick motion. Easier done by pressing Forward to Down to Forward fast.
READ: For Special Moves to work you must do the motion first then press the last movement direction plus the attack button at the same time. Example - Galactic Tornado: do this first (↓ ↘) then press at the same time → + P. The same goes for all Special, EX or Super Moves.
4. Super Moves Motions (Super Combo, Ultra Combos)
↓ ↘ → x2 (x2 means press two times) - Press Down to Forward then again Down to Forward in a fast motion. In other words, press ↓ ↘ → then again press ↓ ↘ → in a rapid succession. Example - Space Opera Symphony: ↓ ↘ → x2 + PPP. (↓ ↘ → ↓ ↘ → + all Punch buttons)
↓ ↙ ← x2 (x2 means press two times) - Press Down to Back then again Down to Back in a fast motion. Example - Big Bang Typhoon: ↓ ↙ ← x2 + PPP. (↓ ↙ ← ↓ ↙ ← + all Punch buttons)

i wish Rufus could come back, he's legit one of my favorite characters and even has one of my favorite themes in the series, he's not even in the mobile port of the game
Rufus is a pretty good character in a weird way, especially since he is surprisingly agile for a big guy.
Maybe he'll come back in 6. The game is still new, so there's a big window of opportunity.

His high attack is op. While doing HOOO move, during the frame he is invincible. Until he lands the attack.

Could be because I'm not familiar with Street Fighter culture, but I think Rufus is a riot. I'm genuinely confused why people hate this guy, he's hilarious!
Also, his moveset is very fun (albeit tastefully-difficult to master) and he can do surprisingly well in competitive circles. Justin Wong wrecked house as Rufus.

It's sad I have nothing interesting to say about this character. I wanted to learn how to use him at one point but that never took off.

Yeah I know. There just wasn't enough flashy stuff I felt I could land though. Granted, his ex messiah kick got a nice buff where if you use it as an anti-air you can land U1 easy. His super was always the most curious thing though. Because on block it recovers stupid fast. I'm not sure what the different strengths would do. C. Viper it was weird jab strength super was the slowest. But, Rufus landing the second hit on Dhalsim's limb is funny. I have a video called tricked Rufus or something. I'll have to go watch it. I hit Sim's limb and Rufus does his little flip but doesn't hit anything or something.

I know this was 5 years ago but you should really be saving your meter for focus attack dash cancels (for landing your ultra one, ultra 2 is a decent anti fireball) and EX Moved like EX messiah kick to complete your combos, I mean like, space opera symphony is pretty darn flashy lol
@@kingkrispy5289 Yah man. I get the resource management. But his combos just didn't have the style or umph I was looking for. It's been so many years but I think he could get two of those juggle stand roundhouses into U1? The hardest thing I ever did in training was land El Fuerte's tortilla spin on his U2. Never could land it again. U2 is good for chip though.
