I want to mention that the name of the company who made the upper is Bear Creek Arsenal. I got them confused with Palmetto State Armory. The fluted barrel also dissipates heat better then an inflated barrel.

Be sure to get a lighter reduced power buffer spring and possibly a lighter buffer as well. The standard 556 buffer spring is too much for 300. If you decide to run sub sonic ammo with a can, you must drill out the gas port for it to cycle properly. Hope this helps. Very Nice bud!

This is good info. I had to put heavier buffers on my two other rifles in 556 and 223 wylde. I have a standard Carbine buffer in this one.

such a shame that our American company of Colt was bought out by a company from another country:(. Sig Sauer is ok, like some of there 9mm handguns. Thank you for the video. Enjoyed!

hey boss long time no see. i have a question. just came up on a cobray SWD m-11 new in box for next to nothing. picked it up took it apart to lube it, buffer disintegrated from never being used and OLD. so i replaced it put it back together. i went to charge the handle gave it my all it did not go more than even close to half way before locking up and couldnt put the mag in. i took it apart. locked the trigger for firing, and put it back together and now i could seat the mag, and cock the handle. dry fired and it was fine. i then went to recock it and same issue except i could take the mag out and reinsert it and it locked up. the only way apparently for me to charge the handle is to either have the firearm in SAFE or FIRE and hold the trigger and then charge the handle. is this a major malfunction or normal?

Is this a semi auto m11/9? The semi autos are totally different by way of the fire control group. I only own full auto M11/9’s.

@@535tony semi auto, i figured i’d ask and see if you would have some of knowledge on the predicament. i understand during assembly the hammer needs to be positioned ready to fire. once assembled dry fires fine, can take the mag out and reinsert without issue. the m11 will just not charge back unless the trigger has pressure, and that is in both the safe position and fire position.

@@uzileopard6199 I have no idea how the semis work. I would do a search on m11/9 pistol field strip and try to figure it out from there. Also maybe look for videos on the M11/9 pistol that might help you understand how it works.
