these milsim servers have been my most played mode, I usually turn off the HUD, it makes the immersion better
There may be better options for milsim games

I really don't like this mode. Not because it's intrinsically bad but because the AI are so freaking godly that I can never react. It's absolutely awful to play vehicles too. I'm getting immediately shot down by SMAWs and have no chance of reacting

Nope ! No matter what if their unable to defend themselves they basically civilians and can’t get shot. Only when the landed and grab their guns.

Technically it isn't, from the ground cuz irl it's incredibly difficult to impossible. But from the air, shooting a bailed out pilot or a paratrooper is banned by the gEnEvA cOnvEnTiOn. I still do it anyway :D

On a real A-10 you couldn't hold the trigger down as long as you did. You did burst, but at times you were well into 3+ sec firing durations. The A-10 runs out of ammo at 17.5 sec of firing. Short bursts are required.

BF1 with 200% damage and standard issued rifles, especially on 100% fog servers on a nap like Argonne Forest, seriously some of the most immersive and cinematic gameplay experiences I'll ever have in my life.
All Enders does is complain, I couldn’t care about his opinion if I tried. Don’t get me wrong, I hated Battlefield 2042 when it came out, but they’ve really turned it around.

What?! It's literally the worst mode in the game right now. Even if you're a milsim fan, it doesn't feel like one in the slightest. No, DICE should definitely NOT learn from this guy - BF is about casual fun, not milsim wannabe bullshit.
@@bugbuster8598oh no I have a different opinion than you on what I think is fun. Plus multiple of the features in the mode were claimed to be in 2042 before it launched.
@@flokithemad5340 it's not a matter of the opinion, though - lowering TTK to the ground doesn't automatically turn BF2042 into realostic/milsim experience. Not to mention it's just not fun at all - it's literally a campfest, especially on El Alamein. You can one-shot amything with sniper rifle from any range, you can spray and pray with LMG, cause there is no way you won't evemtually kill someone with this much ammo (and you onky need to land two to three hits). And there is still minimap indicating where enemies are, so it's not even a true hardcore. BF was alway a casual game at it's core - it's milsim bros who for some reason want to turn it into a milsim, despite the fact there's already plenty of them on the market, even consoles. Some of them even have just as many players. Squad, Hell Let Loose, Insurgency, Arma - these games are true milsims, not a weird mix with identity crisis.

@@flokithemad5340 Oh, so you don't see any issue with the fact that bullet velocity was increased to the point when you practically don't need to take range into account when shooting a sniper rifle, right? Cause that's EXACTLY what's happening in this mode - you need ONE BODYSHOT to kill an enemy and you can do it at ANY distance without even aiming properly! You can also bipod with LMG and spray at enemies across the map, killing them with two hits! Why would anybody even try fighting over the objective if ONE LMG/Sniper can just smack them from insane range while on the way to capture point?
You can like it, it's your "opinion", but the fact is this game mode is not in a slightest what Battlefield was or ever should be. And no, I'm not buying "oh, but vanilla BF2042 is shit" talk - yes, it was shit at launch, it's still nowhere near previous games in series, but turning Battlefield into a knockoff Squad from AliExpress ain't the fix for it, chief.
Battlefield was never a realistic/milsim experience, even at hardcore. BF was always casual at it's core and it should stay that way. Wanna go milsim? there's plenty of games that do that 10x better.

It’s not a war crime to shoot down paratroopers but it’s a war crime to shot them with an AA gun but rifles, pistol and machine guns are fair game but no rocket or missile launchers or tank guns but anti tank rifles would be allowed
