A very fine song, sung by a very fine singer. It is a pleasure to listen to someone singing within their range, knows the words, and is pleasant to listen to. Good show!

The Drifters' version of the song spent three non-consecutive weeks at number one on the U.S. pop chart, in addition to logging one week atop the U.S. R&B chart. In the UK, the Drifters' recording reached number two in December 1960. This single was produced by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, two noted American music producers who at the time had an apprentice relationship with a then-unknown Phil Spector.

    SARÀ L’ULTIMO BALLO CON ME?
    ruclips.net/video/LAjfB0XfjkA/видео.html Michael Dublè
Ne susseguirono tanti nuove discoteche.vincenzoditolve.wordpress.com/2021/04/28/sara-lultimo-ballo-con-me/

This is wonderfully rare footage of the Drifters lineup during the mid-1970's when the lineup was Billy Lewis [thank you, EFIT2010], Johnny Moore aka/Johnny Darrow, Joe Blunt and Clyde Brown. This performance is probably from the BBC in England where in the 1970's The Drifters were still a popular vocal group. To those music purists such as myself who appreciate an uploader's information as to where, when & who comprise these Drifters, one of these four may be baritone/bass Bill Fredricks.

Clyde Brown singing here, took over from Bill Fredericks at the time, a hard act to follow. Took him a while to settle in but he became a good member.Still around today? What's he doing now? Could help out the current line up? Thought he might have popped up with Charlie Thomas and his Drifters, wish they could come to the UK.

@karntnisleians actually not entirely true. The man who wrote the lyrics was crippled and his wife was a broadway dancer. The song was a tribute to her telling her not to give up her love (dancing) for him and all he asks is for the last dance. quite sweet actually
