Isn't it wonderful to be able to let go of something not working! My poor gardener just couldn't understand why I had him pull out 2 small evergreens from the flowerbeds. They just weren't doing it for me after 2 years.
Laura & Aaron, I know that you hear this all the time, and it is said in many ways to you, from people of all walks of life, but I want to say it again, in my way. You both, your family, and all of your staff really don’t know how much you contribute to someone’s day, their week, or their year. I am a gardener, and come from a long line of proud gardeners. The complete “all”, that you put into your videos is absolutely contagious, refreshing, and you always leave us wanting more. Designing a landscape is totally an art! I grew up wanting to be an artist and found my calling in horticulture. Having an art background makes all the difference in figuring out what colors work well together and how to create balance in the garden 😊

I purchased a commercial hose last year that is heavy duty. Heavy is exactly right. Putting it away feels like a wrestling match. And because of that I tend to leave it lay out for the next day. Super messy looking and a hazard to walk around. Winning a Hoselink would be a dream!!!!
I start out each morning watching your program & have now converted my husband. We are 84 & have a smaller yard so we don’t t need a Hoselink. Darn!!! Hi!! I too am a nurse, still working (and old)! Garden Answer is my after work treat everyday to help me get through my shift and decompress. I even tell some of my patients about them & wrte down the channel name for them to watch too, those that have looked it up really enjoy it as well.

This reminds me of a saying my grandmother used to have-“If you want to improve your view, plant a tree in your neighbor’s yard.” She meant it more as a reminder that helping others will improve your own life, but I definitely feel like it applies here. I’m almost 75 and have been gardening since the late 70s. Those homes had space to have an in ground gardens. Then we moved to South Carolina and had terrible soil, and I had raised bed gardens. Each year I increased the size. Then I moved again. Now I have a hodgepodge garden - some raised beds, some grow bags sitting on pallets, and quite a few tower gardens - two green stalks and five less expensive versions. I have learned so much from watching your videos.
I watch your videos daily. I am 70 years old and I live to garden. My Mom passed when I was in my early 50’s and she was my best friend. It makes my heart sing to watch you and your Mom. Thanks for letting me start my day with you.

Hi Laura and Aron, I love you show. You are so inspiring. My 17 year old daughter and I have been going through a lot of medical problems. My daughter had thyroid cancer a year ago, and recently had to have her entire colon removed. I’m dealing with multiple intestinal problems that require surgery very soon, as well as long-term copper deficiency, which makes and physical exertion really difficult (along with many other issues). I wasn’t feeling good yesterday, but I sat down and watched your videos for this week. It inspired me to get up and repot around 75 of my seedlings that were past due (for the first time, because of you, I started lots of plants from seed to landscape around our new Aquascape pond). When my daughter saw me doing this, she, for the first time, asked to help me! You have even inspired her! When I feel too tired to deal with my garden and plants, your show breathes inspiration in me to keep going. I thank you both so much for that, and for inspiring my daughter. Thanks to your channel that part of my daily routine (watching your videos) could still happen during our stay at children's hospital. Sending you all the positive energy... we traveled 900+miles and lived in the Ronald McDonald House for a month for my grandson's open-heart surgery. He was 20m old then and will be 7 in August. Children are so resilient and heal so quickly. I know it's not the same as a full transplant, but watching your child going through something so serious is taxing, regardless. Gardening is indeed one of the best ways to manage stress, plus you get pretty flowers and fresh food! (((Hugs)))

A Hoselink would be a huge blessing, last summer I tripped over my hose and landed on my nose and had two black eyes. I am 64 years old and almost done with my cancer treatments and looking forward to being out in my garden. :) I watch your videos every morning and have learned so much, you and your family have blessed me so much. :)

I have been going through a lot of medical problems. My daughter had thyroid cancer a year ago, and recently had to have her entire colon removed. I’m dealing with multiple intestinal problems that require surgery very soon, as well as long-term copper deficiency, which makes and physical exertion really difficult (along with many other issues). I wasn’t feeling good yesterday, but I sat down and watched your videos for this week. It inspired me to get up and repot around 75 of my seedlings that were past due (for the first time, because of you, I started lots of plants from seed to landscape around our new Aquascape pond). When my daughter saw me doing this, she, for the first time, asked to help me! You have even inspired her! When I feel too tired to deal with my garden and plants, your show breathes inspiration in me to keep going. I thank you both so much for that, and for inspiring my daughter. God bless you and your family.

Yeay, I'm early today! I'm almost getting my life back now that we're home, since 4 months ago when suddenly we got news that my 3-year-old daughter needed a new heart. Thanks to your channel that part of my daily routine (watching your videos) could still happen during our stay at children's hospital. Sending you all the positive energy... we traveled 900+miles and lived in the Ronald McDonald House for a month for my grandson's open-heart surgery. He was 20m old then and will be 7 in August. Children are so resilient and heal so quickly. I know it's not the same as a full transplant, but watching your child going through something so serious is taxing, regardless. Gardening is indeed one of the best ways to manage stress, plus you get pretty flowers and fresh food! (((Hugs)))
