luffy lies their defeated by rob lucci,but in the corner of his eye he sees that his best friend,someone he thought he betrayed the trust of,came to help him out,ussop yells for luffy to get up but he is unable to move,and ussop yells at rob lucci that he is his next opponent and to leave luffy alone and not to finish him off,only when one of his closest friends is in danger is luffy able to get the hell up to finish the battle,it is such a powerful moment in my eyes I don't understand how people can still talk down about usopp after that.

@@Kirito_KR10 honestly people don't understand the point of that scene,usopp is a normal human in a world filled with gods and monsters,most people in our world run at the sight of a cockroach and these same people pretend that they would have the balls to fight anybody with a devil fruit, despite his fears usopp comes back,and finishes the job and admits that he lied about being some sort of hero,sure the way he beat sugar wasnt the coolest and maybe luffy or zoro would have done it better,but its about usopp recognizing his own flaws and taking the first step in over coming them.
Luffy climbing that drum kingdom mountain that is 90 degrees steep while holding nami on his back and sanji in his mouth is the best scene for me in whole of Anime. Great video as always btw 🎉

A Gurren Lagann moment that got me was Simon choosing to leave the Multiverse Labyrinth. He was in a world where everything is good and he knows the horrible implications that will happen even if they win, but he chooses the hard path anyway. Even when the actual laws of the universe are saying that fighting is objectively the wrong choice, he does it anyway because he refuses to accept the options given to him.
Even though it might be recency bias, Byakuya in the latest Dr. Stone episode was one of the top moments for me. Everyone realizing that he struggled for decades purely on faith that Senku would solve all of this really hit me. He never knew if anything he did would mean anything, but he had such a high level of trust in that kid that he worked until his last breath. There are tons of anime moments with huge sacrifices in situations no one will ever be in, but an old man spending every single day with a sieve in a river meant more than all of those.

Here r some moments I love
1)"I still have my friends" by Luffy(iykyk it just hits so different after the loss and the streak he went through)
2)Meruem and Komugi's last moments, one of the few to make me cry(CA could be the best shonen arc alongside MF it's done masterfully even the narrator is goated)
3)Kuma separating the Straw Hats(Luffy's first real loss, changes the course of the series forever, playtime was over)
4)Askeladd's death(Dying like q boss +Thorfinn losing the purpose of his life, now not knowing what to do he's like an empty slate that could become anything)
5)Mob and Reigen's last moment in S3(The relationship is a unique one u can't find anywhere else)
I agree with all of this except the hxh narrator part, for like 20 episodes the show was in 0.5x speed and the narrator said the most obvious shit in multiple different ways. Like, "he was sad, and was also very not happy, while also dealing with sadness" type shit

Julia’s death in Cowboy Bebop has to be one of the most powerful scenes in my opinion. For so long, Spike was stuck on the past and finally revisiting the chapter in his life Julia gave him hope, gave him hope to turn his life around and to start a new life. But sometimes, the past catches up to us and good things have to come to an end at some point; which is why this scene is so powerful. It made me reflected on past experiences and how I wish I can go back and relive those experiences, but its in the past for a reason and that there is more to look forward to in life.

OMG! I'm so glad you brought up Law of Ueki! I never see anybody talk about it! I loved this show back in the day! Ueki reminds me so much of Luffy. Ueki could be in the best main character discussion for me too, for similar reasons as Luffy. Your taste aligns so closely with mine that it's crazy, lol. One Piece is my favorite anime of all time (favorite anything, I like to say) and Code Geass is up there in my top 5 too.
I got so hyped when he mentioned Law of Ueki! Given One Piece is also my favorite anime, I might finaly start Code Geass if it's in ur top 5.

my favorite in all of anime history is easily ichigo’s realization of what ginjo is in the fullbring arc.
at this point of the series ichigo doesn’t know who he himself is (although claiming he does). he’s overcome a ton of challenges and finally feels like he’s gonna be just fine when he regains his powers to keep his goal of protecting his friends. and then all that just goes to poop when ginjo reveals himself as a villain who not only used ichigo as a tool but revealed that he was the original substitute soul reaper and the soul society betrayed him. at this point ichigo breaks and i can’t lie i sat there crying with him because kubo’s interpretation of a teenager completely lost in the world was so realistic and resonated with me so well. and what i love about it is how it genuinely blurs the lines between if ginjo is good and evil because ginjo isn’t necessarily evil but just someone just as lost as ichigo. he isn’t a villain but rather a personal antagonist to ichigo’s ideals and development up to this point. and through ichigo developing the soul reapers of the soul society throughout the series he was able to come out on top. man it was the one time in bleach where i really felt like any decision a character made would have made sense and that’s what makes fullbringer arc a fantastic arc and in my opinion the best arc in shonen history

Adam Vs Zeus was one of those scenes that really hit deep in terms of inspiration and resolve. He also died standing just like Whitebeard and his sheer confidence against Zeus, his literal creator just had me starstruck.
"What kind of father wouldn't protect his children?" To this day the best line in the whole manga.

This such a fire topic, there are characters that have deeply helped and resonated with people everywhere. It's crazy to think how a Mangaka and the characters they bring to life can help so many people.
Recently rewatching Naruto literally the episode where they passed Kakashi's test hits so hard. Not my all time favorite but definitely is deep. Kakashi says "In the Ninja world those who break the rules are Scum, that's true, but those who abandon their friends are worse than Scum." Just shows the how Squad 7 realized not to be selfish and to look out for one another to try and pass, despite failing the 1st attempt of getting the bells, and also the risk of falling into Kakashi's rule.

Rob as someone who played a year of high level college basketball and had to leave the team for personal reasons, and am now bouncing back at juco, that naruto segment really hit home. This is why I love black anitubers a lot of us share the same feelings and emotions towards these stories, awesome video dawg.

Luffy one-shotting Bellamy surprisingly sticks with me. Earlier on, he just let Bellamy hit him despite how it may look, especiallyas a pirate. But for him to come back with the blacked-out eyes and just shut Bellamy up with one punch was super impactful.

Jimbei bringing back Luffy from the verge of self-loathing, utter defeat, and despression. And Luffy remebering what he has left.
Look everyone loses sometimes, this man Luffy took 3 Ls in even getting to Marineford; but to take the ultimate in L in when you had a chance to get at least 1 W; kills any person's confidence.
And imagine if that ultimate L you took broke you cause that L was the loss of your giding light in your own family. Losses hurt but loss of a loved one hurts deep, Im pretty sure everyone here can agree, especially when you lose someone near and dear to heart.
But like Martin Luther Jimbei said and asked, *"You may have lost someone but dont have you anything of value that you left to move forward"*
Then Luffy remebers his Nakama.
Cause Im pretty every one has lost someone but that lost someone would be devasted if we sat and sulked over losing them being gon, theyd want us to move forward in life with them in thought with each step we take.
And value the memories you created with them cause yes their flesh maybe be gone but their value of those memories will stay and last forever even in death.

One of my favorite moments comes from Bakuman. Seeing them create a manga in middle school going through the whole process of them as adults with their own anime showed me that it takes time to achieve your goals

One of my favourite moments is when yami was fighting dante and asta was on the floor and he couldn't move then yami's like " I can't win this without you, Asta!" and asta just gets up and starts fighting with yami. That scene is not only hype but very impactful as we see asta going from a commoner boy with no magic who can't swing his sword properly to a strong magic knight who is ackowledged by the people around him and is able to fight one of the strongest villains in the show at that time.
The way u describe it is like how fairy tales friendship power bullshit works. 😂

The best moment for me was as a kid watching Goku vs Kid Buu and listening to Vegetas monologue. That shit hits so hard to this day tbh "your the best Kakarot, you always have been"
Off the top of my head my number 1 favorite scene of all time will have to be, Post-Marineford when Jimbe held Luffy down saying to think about what you still have. That scene is so phenomenal thinking about what Luffy was going through and caused for arguably Luffy's biggest character development. This moment was more sad than most of the backstory's in the show tbh.

Some of the moments that have stayed with me are from GTO. This show solely has changed me a lot. The sledgehammer scene in first ep, the scene where he doesn't hide his perverted self from kikuchi, when he took that leap of faith on his motorbike and more.the whole series has taught me many things
I love Onizuka’s relationship with the student who got bullied by the three girls. He had such a way of helping his students the way they needed in the most unorthodox ways.

An anime moment that changed my life was the Sanji/Zeff back story. I literally never wasted food after that point.
One of my most favorite moments that possibly changed my life was kaneki talking to his different personalities in season 3 … I felt a personal connection to this because it says no matter how down for the count you are if you can even crawl then keep moving, keep moving forward
When kuma protected the ship until the straw hats came, poor guy he was filled with weapons.
One of my favourite scenes from one piece , an underrated one is that when on drum island nami was severally sick and she had to be taken over the hill to see the doc and Luffy despite being in freezing weather despite being with a sanji who was injured despite not being to climb properly that he has to use his bruised fingers to climb up the mountain And despite all of this he went up the mountain and says treat my friends first save them first.
It really showed me early on the show that how far Luffy can go to protect his crew mates and how determined I should be to protect my loved ones.
Rob, first off, this is probably the best video you've ever made. You really opened my eyes, and I didn't know that you went through that stuff. This was incredible. YOU ARE THE GOAT!!!!!!!
Anyways, here's my Top Ten Moments in Animanga.
10. Shirou using Unlimited Blade Works against Archer (Fate/Stay Night UBW)
Honestly, this moment really hit home for me, because of the fact that he was fighting against himself from the future. Had he not won, and had he not fought Archer, he would've turned out just like Archer (a man broken after fighting for his ideals). HELLA UNDERRATED
9. Iskandar's Speech to Artoria (Fate/Zero)
People don't understand how powerful this moment was for Saber. This speech did wonders for her character, because she finally understood why her people suffered: she fought for them, but never led them. Freaking amazing and my favorite quote in animanga.
8. Gingka riding on Pegasus (Beyblade Metal Masters I think)
This is a bit child like ik, but this moment really made me love Gingka. His fight with Ryuga was so damn amazing because it teaches us what a true blader is, and the importance of having a true resonance with your bey. It was so badass, and really helpful for Gingka's character
7. Naruto vs Sasuke: Chidori vs Rasengan pt 2 (Naruto Shippuden)
Ik this is cliche, but come on. With the flashbacks and callbacks to everything back in the Naruto Series, need I say more?
6. Luffy crying for Ace (One Piece)
I absolutely hate Ace, but this was just so sad. After all the hell my boy Luffy did to save Ace, it was all to no avail. This helps Luffy's character, because it's the biggest loss to him, and it was just that moment where you just say...damn.
5. Goku, 17 and Frieza vs Jiren (DBS)
This moment is CRIMINALLY underrated. This moment was such a powerful moment considering the fact that it proves to the Goku haters and naysayers that Goku DID change in character. Goku used to believe that he'd never fight with Frieza, and vice versa. But seeing them put aside their differences and fight together, and finally take down the big bad, while seeing my man Android 17 get some flowers was just so amazing!
4. Vegeta's 1st death (Dragon Ball Z)
Hot take, but this is my 2nd favorite moment in Dragon Ball, because it was so insane. Seeing him beg Goku to do what he couldn't, and tell him all of the hell he went through as a child was so damn sad. I never cry while watching anything, but this was the closest I was to tearing up because damn. Vegeta went through some stuff!
3. Jiraiya's death (Naruto Shippuden)
If you know, you know.
Tie for #2: Vegeta's Sacrifice (DBZ), Whitebeard's Death (One Piece), Saber kills Caster (Fate/Zero), and Muigetsu Ichigo (Bleach)
All four are incredible moments, but the main reason why Saber's first Excalibur was here is because I 1, adore her, and 2, I CANNOT STAND CASTER!!!
Finally, 1: "Save the Soul Society, Ichigo Kurosaki...!" (Bleach)
I get it. Byakuya not dying was an L. But that don't change the fact that this here moment is what made Bleach my #1 Animanga of all time. Seeing Byakuya finally put aside all of his differences, and seeing him cry while begging Ichigo to save the Soul Society was just powerful. However, that isn't why this is my favorite moment in animaga history; it's because of Ichigo slowly but surely lose his shit. Seeing the man's reiatsu evaporate the raindrops, and seeing him look pissed is how you know that Ichigo's saying: "Oh they think I'm playing. Well it's about damn time why they call me Kurosaki Ichigoat!!!"
That there is why Ichigo is my favorite Mc of all time.

In some anime's, the characters speak to me virtually. they give me a wake-up call to use this episode as motivation and alleviation. One of my favorites is the scene where Eren meets the traitors in season 2 of attack on titan. Some of the people he trusted most turning into the people he wants to destroy. He releases all of his rage and the soundtrack always gives me goosebumps when rewatching the scene.

A few I can think of the top of my head.
1. There are a lot of great moments but from Violet Evergarden Episode 12, The sequence where she is walking up the hill is literally "feels"
2. Demon Slayer S2 Uzui, and the Trio against the Upper 6 Demons, Even though all of them were very much injured they pushed themselves above and beyond to defeat their enemies.
3. Girls und Panzer Movie, the final 20 minutes of film. Literally had my jaw dropped and kept me on edge, and then the victory music and scene at the end is so captivating.
4. My Dress Up Darling Episode 12. The Fireworks festival was so wholesome and beautiful. Marin and Gojo really compliment each other well
5. Uma Musume S2 Episode 9. When Tokai Teio was about to give up on racing then everyone encouraged her to continue and Twin Turbos win. Inspiring stuff and got me teary

My favorite anime moment involves whitebeard, but it was his final speech right before his death. I’ve never gotten more goosebumps in my life. So many emotions all put into one scene. Witnessing the changing of times into a new era. Hearing him tell Blackbeard he isn’t the one Roger is waiting for. The one piece is real. Such an incredible scene

Not gonna lie for me one of my favorite moments from black clover is when the black bulls all pull up to protect finral from his brother during the tournament. This scene for me just shows how many people can be impacted by one person, so much so that they are willing to put down their lives for that person almost like the bond the straw hats have. Like none of them were messing around and everyone around them got to see what happens when the "worst sqaud" actually gets serious and how much they care for each other to the point they will kill this person and give up everything they worked for just to protect someone they hold dear. This scene always sends shivers down my spine whenever I rewatch it.
For me it was all about the hype so Goku turning ssj was the best moment for me
even looking back at it although it didn’t even kill majin buu seeing vegetas sacrifice himself and as starting out as someone who didn’t care for anybody’s sacrifice himself for his family and friends still gives me chills till this day

There aren't words that exist to describe how much this moment means to me. Not only did this singular moment solidify me as a Dragon Ball fan, but it also is the reason why Dragon Ball is my favorite anime of all time.
I would go so far to say that that is single handedly the greatest moment in anime history as if it weren't for that and Dragon Ball as a whole, most anime would not exist today.
