OHHHHHH this is activating my early 90's high school brain....SO BAD ASS! I remember dethroning the local champ and his Yokomo Dogfighter at our neighborhood track! GOOD TIMES!

Beautiful upgrades! One of my favorite cars! I have a Mint Turbo Optima Mid custom SE that I have not put together yet, an A&L Training Arm Conversation that's never been run. I've been told these cars are very expensive so I want to get one like yours so I can actually play with it and yours is beautiful. It was not easy for me to get the parts that I have to say the least and that was 15 years ago. I would never take the ones I've got and put them together and race them just because the new motors would shred them and say the least and they're way too expensive I looked up the body alone was $400 even without the decals!!! Out of all the builds I've seen yours is the prettiest by far of this car!!

Don’t laugh but I play golf and +3 handicap
I still play with golf clubs that are over 30years old because they are still classed a perfection (ping eye 2)

Thanks for your support! You can also use AE big bore shocks.
It looks like it has a ton of initial turn in, unlike the newer car of today.
The conversion kit arrived today and looks great! I see that you have to reverse the rear arms in order to attach the shocks which reduces the wheelbase by several millimeters. Have you noticed that the shorter wheelbase changes the handling characteristics? Also, if I decide to lengthen the wheelbase, do you offer the long-wheelbase chassis and upper deck only (since I already have all of the other parts)?
Hi Brandon, thank you for your support again ! Yes, as you said ~ the wheelbase will be shortened. But the actual handling on the track is still very nice (as long as you use the right tires and adjust the shocks). Also, If you change the LWB chassis and upper deck, the body shell and belt need to be replaced. I will provide a separate product item. Thanks for your suggestion!👍

@@exorc6837 I cannot find the shocks anywhere online. I am mostly finding PR Racing springs only.

Because when I look up specs of your ESC, it states 1s lipo...but 2s lipo is possible with that ESC

If you don’t mind me asking but are those wheels 2.2 and if so what front tyres are they. i have the original mid custom 2.0 wheels but i bought a set of the turbo optima mid special yellow wheels but these ones are 2.2 model sport replica’s and i am looking for some good tyres.

@@galactusgalan4233 The wheelbase of The rere mid is 255 mm. The LWB is 273mm. The body shell can`t use rere. My LWB will use Turbo optima mid special`s body shell. I will share it with you after the painting is completed.
Would you be able to share where I would be able to purchase those PR Shocks from online? I've been searching online but doesnt seem to have anyone who sells them aside from the springs.

What wheels are those?
These are 2.2-inch wheels. My friend bought it for me, it seems to be a seller in the UK.Hope you like.

160A ESC on a 2S 1/10 buggy?
Yeah, It’s for 1/10 scale ESC.
@@exorc6837 I run a 160A esc on 4s in my 1/8th inferno. It's a bit much for 2s no?
@@pinmast0r 1/8 ESC is different from 1/10 ESC. I use 1/10 dedicated ESC. The Turbo delay setting value is 0.2 sec.
