Everytime I get to the top 2 in either the jbst or WYBT both Wisconsin youth tournaments I never win I did this 6 times and still looking for my first title period! 5/6 times I was the higher seed or the number one seed it’s going to be a great breakthrough once I win my first title in the handicap division
@ the thing is I’m 20 years old Bowling in the handicap division I won ROY AND POY last year without a title that is actually impressive and the Roy and poy contenders were mad
Key, you can’t keep lofting the ball out there like that. The ball doesn’t know what to do when it’s bouncing off the floor. All you have to do is learn how to bend that left leg.
I have a very different style of bowling. Rather than rolling it with a hook, I go strait for the pocket between front pin and its neighbor. That may give me a strike 40% of the time. I make the spare about 40% of the time I don’t get a strike. By the 6th frame or so, I have a couple of terrible shots which escalates my frustration, sometimes resulting in profanity utterances. When I get to that stage, I stop caring about my score and become a heap of pure hateful rage that wants to destroy the pins. At that stage I just hurl the ball with all the force I can muster at the lead pin, channeling all my rage. I throw the ball like I only care about about pure *demolition,* which probably increases my strike % to about 50-55%. But I have to build the rage to get there. It doesn’t win tournaments, but it feels could when the 10 pins seem to explode with raw violence, and I’m for the moment relieved.
