I think a lot of it has to do with how women are taught in society. Women are taught that they have to “keep a man” and that there is something wrong with her being single. I’ve had many men try to instill the fear of being single in me if I refuse to lower my standards. I’ve also seen men and women act like a woman can’t choose to be single, something has to be wrong with her. Men are masters of using guilt, shame, and fear tactics to modify women’s behavior. Some will even go so far to call a woman a gold digger for requiring dates or the bare minimum. If a woman lets this work on her, she usually ends up with the short end of the stick. Some women have been brainwashed to believe that holding on to a man at all cost is better than having no man at all. Of course all of this creates the perfect storm of the man getting the maximum benefits without giving much in return. I’m glad that I’ve always seen these manipulations from a young age. By the way, thank you for your videos. I have a good husband, and I make sure I keep my power in the relationship thanks to you and other you-tubers. Never underestimate the power of being willing to walk away as a woman.

Women need to adapt the same abundance mentality men have. When you have abundance there is no need for game playing! You are naturally not too available and have lots of men wanting you. You also easily walk away.

Girl, part of valuing yourself is not giving a crap when he pulls away. Your value is not linked to a man’s interest, it’s innate and there is nothing you or anyone can do to lower it. The only difference is whether or not you see your own value. Work on cultivating self love and an abundance mindset and you will stop tolerating the men who don’t treat you as valuable. You can always find another man. Your relationship with yourself is what matters.

Two months later he’s come back and apologized and begged to talk to me and has been incredibly persistent. But, he knows now I have the power and he has to work for my time! Hard to set those boundaries sometimes but it’s so important to be willing to walk in order to show them.

Same thing happened to me and I just realized very late. I guess it has to do with our self values that we are not clear how high these are and believing in vain words that easily. I really regret for the mistakes and MUST learn once and for all that setting up high standards since the beginning is priority and walk away immediately if we don't get what we want from the guy.

Elliot Scott but it happened. Everything was going fine, and I mentioned a couple of times I wanted him to meet friends or whatever and he pulled back. So I made myself scarce. I kept interacting with my friends and he started noticing that he wasn’t my only option. I didn’t text back right away, I was busy. He accused me of playing games and said if he was busy I would find attention elsewhere which sounds like something he’s dealt with in the past considering it’s not a reflection of me whatsoever. He explicitly said multiple times that he liked me a lot and he saw a future with me. By doing what you said, it pushed him away.

Same thing happened to me and I just realized very late. I guess it has to do with our self values that we are not clear how high these are and believing in vain words that easily. I really regret for the mistakes and MUST learn once and for all that setting up high standards since the beginning is priority and walk away immediately if we don't get what we want from the guy.

Elliot Scott but it happened. Everything was going fine, and I mentioned a couple of times I wanted him to meet friends or whatever and he pulled back. So I made myself scarce. I kept interacting with my friends and he started noticing that he wasn’t my only option. I didn’t text back right away, I was busy. He accused me of playing games and said if he was busy I would find attention elsewhere which sounds like something he’s dealt with in the past considering it’s not a reflection of me whatsoever. He explicitly said multiple times that he liked me a lot and he saw a future with me. By doing what you said, it pushed him away.
@@kccollins_music I know you're not going to believe me but he's bsing you, this was going to happen anyway, and he's not emotionally ready for a relationship. THAT is why it happened. trust me. If a guy pulls back bc you mentioned meeting friends, strike 1. Then he accuses you of playing games instead of giving you the benefit of the doubt and reasoning with you bc he DID after all say he liked you soooooo much (he didn't) , strike two. then him hurt from his past and going through this with someone to the point where it sounds like it scarred him, strike three. I always tell people to do detective work. This is not how men who TRULY like women act. I find it very very very very very very hard to believe that if a guy truly likes you, he will just give up on you as easy as this guy did just bc you played games even though you didn't. He didn't even try to work it out or reason with you. he didn't give you the benefit of the doubt. How come that is when I see couples who find out their S.O is cheating yet they still try to work it out and do to end up having a happy relationship? This guy even said he saw a future with you. He's emotionally unstable I promise you. It all adds up. Going from really liking you to pulling away bc you mentioned meetin friends to saying I want a future with you to now breaking it off completely bc of something you did that reminded him of an event that happened in his past? Not buying it from the guy. $100 he was having second thoughts bc of his emotional unstableness and used this as the exit excuse.
Elliot Scott that’s basically what I said to him. He wasn’t ready and he self sabotaged but I’ll be damned if he’s gonna pin it on me when I’ve been nothing but patient and understanding while my efforts weren’t being matched. And the second I didn’t drop everything in my world (I have two children) to text him back immediately suddenly I’m the bad guy after I already apologized for shit I didn’t need to apologize for. Men are such a headache honestly. Hardly seems worth it.

Hmmmm... He did send me a text but I didn't reply till hours later and he's doing the same. Well instead of wondering when I'm going to see him again, I sent a straight forward text and he fell off the face of the earth. I wanted clarity and I got it when he didn't reply back. It sucks but I'm not a mind reader and I just wanted to put a stop to the way it made me feel when he disappears.
