John Vernon was in quite a few movies including several films with Clint Eastwood when he played the Mayor in Dirty Harry in 1971 and was in Eastwoods The Outlaw Josey Wales as Fletcher in 1976 as a kind of antagonist. His character Fletcher had one of the best lines in Josey Wales when he said “There is an old saying Senator; don’t piss down my back and tell me it’s raining.”
I loved Animal House (I've seen it multiple times), but it gave direct rise to inferior crap like Porky's and Bachelor Party and Revenge of the Nerds, and for that it has a lot to answer for.
Always admired John Vernon (Dean Wormer). He always seemed to play heavies and authority figures, but he played them with a certain gusto. RIP
He was the FIRST Iron Man!
And the first Namor. Both in the same TV show!
I was a junior in high school and this was in the theater. Laughed so hard I couldn't talk afterwards. We were stoned outta our pumpkins too.
"He's a sneaky little shit, just like you" jeez dude talk about a hostile work environment
Niedermeyer, I hate his guts.
Dean Wormer - one of cinema's all time great villains. "Put Niedermayer on it, he's a sneaky little s... like you."
Dean Wormer is the Darth Vader of Faber.
@@roquefortfiles Darth Faber
@@wtburns01 Greg!!. What is the worst fraternity on campus??
@@roquefortfiles It's hard to say sir, they are each outstanding in their own way.
Mean Dean Wormer is the nicest nickname for John Vernon. Mr. Meany alright 😂😂😂!!!!!
Seen this movie many times but you have to admit John Vernon(Dean Wormer) character is the key to its success!
"Every Halloween, the trees are filled with underwear. Every spring, the toilets...explode."
LOL!
The medical school cadavers at the alumni dinner... Creative, in its way...
I was dying, rolling in the aisle when I saw this in 1978, the year I began college.
Delivered the medical school cavaders to the alumni dinner. Hahahahaha!
You TWERP!!😂
Dean Wormer is the friggng best! I wish I would have seen him in more movies to follow.
killer klowns from outer space!
He also played Rupert Thorne on Batman: The Animated Series.

That foot is me! LMAO
RIP Dean Wormer!
DEAN WORMER was the first Iron man!
Circa 1966. Also, the Sub-Mariner.
After this, he would become the leader of the krader mining company.
Leave it to Dean Wormer and the great writers of Animal House (Harold Ramis and company) to come up with the term “codicil” wtf? Lol
Well, you'd have to expect a college dean to be that erudite. Good catch.........
Of course I'm talking about Delta YOU TWERP!!!
Throughout the whole movie, Dean Wormer never screamed out "DELTA HOUSE!!" Not once.
Theres also many other things he did not say, in this film
He wasn't up against Robot House, that's why.
The mad gleam in Dean Wormer's left eye...
Invoking that little-known codicil is rather extreme.
American pie as well as movies like Van wilder and Wedding Crashers wouldn't be where they're at if it wasn't for Animal House.
Yes! My NANA introduced me to Animal House!
DAMN, NO !!!! Not double secret probation???? :(
OH THE HORRORS!!
This is Trumps nomination for his Attorney General
Might want to worry more about wife's up Dean Wormer!!
3 people are part of the worst fraternity on campus.
"Cut the horse sh-t ,son!!!"
Ooooooh that crusty old dean!
Does double secret probation exist?
In the Faber College Constitution it certainly does
I wish I went to college lol
Which college? The one on Belushi's shirt? 😂

What the hay is double secret probation?
It's a little known codicil. It gives the dean unlimited power in times of campus emergency
What a film ❤️
Classic
zero point zero ack ack
Dude. American Pie??? POS. Wedding Crashers is the last movie I laughed out loud at.
Lol
@atworkstation The movies u listed are shit. Animal house is a classic.
