Glad someone finds Mario Party 9 underrated. Speaking of which, this channel is underrated, so from one Mario fan to another I'll give it a subscription. Keep it up man.
When I played the minigame Double Pounder, I didn't notice at first that the lava was rising. I usually finish this minigame quickly, but when time was nearly up and I almost didn't make it, I was startled to see how high the lava has risen. This lead me to think that the lava will overflow the arena and burn the players if they don't succeed. So I failed this minigame on purpose and saw that I was right about that...
The Bowser boss minigame in Mario Party 9 is a complete joke to me because it is nearly completely luck-based. You just have to throw large dice and hope that they show your face and not your opponents' or Bowser's face to attack and score points. But the Bowser Jr. boss minigame just really takes the cake as it is indeed completely luck-based and there is no way you can influence the game with your skill. You can only hit the die and roll a random number. And shaking the Wii Remote to enlarge the die and spin it faster won't give you a more favorable number.
