@@d3athwish for a really good cosmetic, from treasure maps, Melusines Icon on sails, the lvl 30 sails from the 3rd line (blue sails, gold emblam) and the white sea from event as well
add mermaid figurehead and mast lower decoration from treasure maps, as well as mermaid wheel and compass.
next add kraken to the sides, top mast and leviathan plate and dagons crew
finally your hull gets the sea people paint job and Armor is going to be compagnie merchantarmor (the pretty gold and yellow wood armor with good all around resistances and the extra defense on repair kits)
looks gorgeous at night with the green lamps and gold siren sails, looks gorgeous in day time as well
hull armor and sails will all tie in together beautifully, your blues and greens will tie in with the blues and greens on the octopi, and the mermaids themselves are greened bronze, giving them a goldish shine from the green braziers at night
melusine's set pairs really well with the new kraken set, very well indeed
love the game but honestly getting tired of the damn farming for smuggler coins. Theres no missions or anything, very repetitive.
Same, I have a job and don't have hours everyday to grind bit annoying how you can't just buy the ship with real money
We need more monsters, like Kraken, better change to communicate another players.
More big missions where you need more players.
Maybe some gamemodes like team deathmach, deadmach, capture flag.
I like to farming, but still this game has so much potential
@@MrPaukku1990 For sure has potential but still a long way to go. In the season 1 interview the dav said they will add fleets one day. so they can "do stuff" for you. Even if its like ac blackflag where they get shipments done for you, for silver or even better pieces of eight, it would be cool.

@@skillage18Yea. It’s slow to get them, add to the fact that you get wind trimming speed that slows you down, and rouges hunting you down stopping you from interacting with the settlement.
Game is in infancy, growing pains of a game that had huge dreams. Idk how good it will get but i personally played ESO at start and as the updates roll in you'll be better off than others who join.
When it comes to materials you could check the refinery npc to see if you have the raw materials to make the ingots, great video overall I’ll definitely head to the helm for build ideas thanks Brother
I know the brigantine is/was the best ship but I really like the sambuk and definitely not because it’s speed because it’s slow af but I use on every side fire bombard 3 and with a furniture that boost the ablaze effect a bit. It’s just lovely how you can set one ship ablaze and every ship in 150 meter range immediately is ablazed to and top it off with if there is another ship in 150 meter range of the second ship that ship will get this to and the special effect with the fire is awesome. While the ablaze effect is on you get a 100% damage buff for each shot you land. So normally a hit is about 2900 without ablaze effect however with the effect it hits about 4900. These number where on a rogue ship when you do a delivery order.
I have set up, with a slight difference, it melts on PVP too.
My setup is
Dardanelles X4
Le Fleu
Black prince
Scraper station
Bombard works
Leather rope grips (stamina)
Double planked hull
La Potence schematics
It works well for me.
Will try this setup next time I turn the game on.
Hiho my build for the barque goes like this.
Weapons: Front and back Basilisk 3, for the sides zamzama 3 and leopold 3.
Armor: royal custodian cause i dont own the black prince,
Furniture: signal gong, la potence, boatswains call, lightened mast and balanced mast.
You got the fire power and the survivability, youre fast and its just fun 😊 btw. I switched to wailing ward armor and tried to solo La Peste with this build and got him down to 20% life before the time rans out, with only one repair kit used...so its really fun to try this out😊

I use almost the exact same build, but I use a Double draw ballista on the front. Was able to solo La peste last night hitting his weak points for increased damge

You don't need to log for the ship wrecks, just break'em all open because that also gives you a little coin, and you can sail in a loop indefinitely in that little area with maybe 15-30 second wait for the shipwrecks to reset. Btw, each one of those wrecks in the indies grants about 3-9 scrap metal.
Edit: having watched to the end, seeing how the build works, this barque build is definitely considered an armour tank. The snow is an HP tank. Now that being said, with your healing really getting in at low HP, I'm afraid that this build could easily be beaten down in PVP with someone using long 9s or sambuk prox. It seems those damage types act as true damage which defeats the critical synergy of the black prince armour.
Oh I didn't think of the mast breaker or anything like that they will cause issues in pvp
Yes the 7k damages for the long nines isn't mitigated, and yes you are right, a sambuk crew attack build is a threat because of his high burst of damages in a quick time. But, the kit to clear status effect and your higher speed will keep you away from it, the fact that you have regular health kits will help you also, only if you are the carrier in pvp with lower speed, makes you vurnarable to this, but you still have the upper hand in term of range, sadly haven't encountered that type of build in pvp yet
@@Waallouh I think you are right about the sambuk not being so much of a threat due to speed, I hadn't considered that. However, there is a trade to using mending kits. Pretty sure that as soon as you remove status effects you are open to having those effects reapplied. So if someone is using a fire build sambuk or any build that is using long nines on any broadside, they will get to rapidly apply those status effects. Ergo punishing you for not sitting like a duck for a few seconds or wanting to mitigate a DOT effect. In theory if you are scrapping 1v1 and using mending kits, long 9s may proc twice while health kits on cool down.

Great informative videos, I mostly play solo so I’m gonna have to look at some of those videos toO lol, honestly I’m a little overwhelmed with the amount of stuff there is to do in the game and the different builds so I mostly just go around do missions or whatever suits my fancy at the time but your video sub quite a bit might even help me focus on what I actually want to do endgame
Yea the dam thing is powerful and I like it and it’s crazy good I use the new cannons on both sides and I use the bombards on the front and rear to get to lvl 12 currently max for the season. It’s not as fast as the brig but definitely fast enough and better because of infinity health regeneration

@Deathwish a small tip for you and the viewers go to settings somewhere and put camera decouple ( on ) it allows you to move your ship around but your crosshairs remain where you place them they will move infpdependently, hich in my bombar build I can just rotate on the line and send serious volleys hen riding that vertical dotted line inbetween wepon ranges, I hope this helps everyone in game as it allows you to turn while in combat but remain on target to a certian degree you need to use it to see what I mean, oviif you were to move at a 90’ angle from the enemy it will pull you off them but it does allow when being chased or chased to use all three sides of wepons while maintaining direction to or from enemy while staying on target, u can move at a 45’ angle without breaking off target or do 360’ s like mentioned before, I only say to do this because many people when they went over settings overlooked this, and I remember always using it on world of ship and world of tanks , so I figured try it here and it works as intended which is favorable to say the least

I went with Scrapper station for 8k healing for every crew attack, Basilisk 3s on the sides to get more crew attacks... healing guns on front and back - best boat in the game and you can save other people's butts while sailing around.

Crafting ships is quite easy to get mats. Issue is decking it out with best items for both ship. Luckly i had many T3 repair guns saved, only need second black prince for healing spec also.
Has anyone got and end game crafting materials like the orcas mechanism from the rogue attack missions from the helm. I have tried multiple times now and haven't gotten any. I have wiped out the ships including the one your suppose to. Do i need to capture it with a crew hooks.
Fun tip: The rogue attack missions will list the Rogue faction of the ingredient you need. You should see "orcas" in red when you go to accept it. Once you do, go there and use your spyglass to see what ingredients are on the ships. If you don't see Orca's mechanism, dont attack. Also, check the entire group, including the escort ships. If none of them have it, quit to main menu, and start the session again. It will reset the ship loot. Repeat until you see orcas mechanism, and kill/loot the ships.
@scelestus999 yep, that's what I have been doing but they are not dropping the loot i need let alone any of the end gear loot for crafting
It seem to me they did a hidden nerf to the availability of „special mats“, pre-season all 3 bodyguards dropped 1, now one of the three might drop one

My new favorite. I hardly use repair kits and less stamina food, and it has a 70k cargo. I used Zimzama III on the sides = more dps.👍
I got the premium edition with ubisoft + but no access to cosmetics of ashen corsair set . Apart from the lemur and crew clothing.

Know what you mean about aiming on bombards . Ignore the negative comment dude. It's a learning curve, hence we are on a learning/help video. Try going out to opposite shore to St Annes and practice with your bombards on low level ships, towers and settlements there.

Even with that solo build the perks r so op even if ure not in a party pretty sure everybody loves it😊 Same works with the new armor against la pest and u could switch the trat out for some extra healing

Guys, I have a 'secret' I'd like to share with you. I don't craft cannonballs, I buy them. The materials used for cannonballs are better used for crafting fuel and healing items.
The basic 6k healing item, you can combine 3 of these into a greater healing item that heals 50% of your ship and only has a 40-second cooldown.
IMHO it's the best healing item in the game. The most OP.
Because the 18k one has a 60-second cooldown, as does the 70% one, they all have very high cooldowns. It's hard (unless you're fighting 2 ships at once) to lose more than 50% of your health in 40 seconds.
So, I recommend you buy the cannonballs, saving you the materials
Also, buy the 6k healing items and combine them into the 50% one.
You'll have plenty of materials left over to make the type of ammunition or healing item you want, without having to spend hours farming
Use sugar cane and opium to craft the golden drink versions, and tobacco and berries to boost the 8-coin factories
I sailed in to a freaking Elite ghost ship that oneshot my Barque.
Nice with a challenge though.

My issue with the new season they added level 12. They added weapons to get us to level 12, but almost every pre-existing build needs to be completely shifted away from its original build to use. Dardanelle's and the new canons because the repair weapons don't rank high enough to get you there to 12 and the fire weapons won't get you to 12
I agree it’s bs we cripple our playstyle and kill the customization of our ships in favor of not being one shot by level 12-13 ships smh what a terrible design choice
You people do know season 1 hasn't fully released yet right? And not all weapons and weapon levels are meant to be end game weapons! That's like that in every game that has a tier level system! Example ESO not everything is meant to be end game mid max tier shit! Why do you think you see power scores on your furniture and weapons and ships? Sure the ships will eventually change to allow people to use basically any ship and be viable for end game shit!

If you need to farm materials to craft ammos, just go to parujar's cry, go south of it like 50m, there is 10 shipwreck, do them in circle with a padewakang, you can do that circle until your cargo is full! (Carefull a privateer spawns here so get some weapons to defend yourself)

This is literaly my brig build atm tho I have morter status up insted of culivin speed,
Swap the Carronades on the sides to Basilisk 3. They're better for pve, they have a perk that loads crew attacks 50% faster. Combine that perk with purple furniture Scrapper Station that gives You 8k hull back for every crew action.
Dardanels have a weird aiming curve, I tried using them and can't get consistent damage out of them. I use a twin winch on the front and long nines in the back. Even if they do less damage on paper being able to consistently hit the target means more damage done.
The barque looks like a love child of mater from cars and mad max vehicles

In my Barque I currently have scurlock 9s infront for weakpoint snipes, carronades on sides, darnadelles at back, Le fleau mortar (since sniper rogues tend to stay in place & melt away with one shot).
Furniture I went with Major: Scrapper Station, Minors: Boatswain’s Call, Spiked War Horn, Culverin Works, La Potence. Armoring I´m inbetween Black Prince/Royal Custodian, the new Wrathfull Ward is abit meh when fighting multiple opponents(shines in 1v1 though when hugging the opponent).
Abit of a brawler build, but makes quick work of rogues/plaguebringers when farmin smuggler pass.
This build is Soooooo OP we went pvp in server fill and it took about 4 of us versus this build and still had trouble le sinking this boat. Thing is serious

My biggest complaint with the game is all the best items requiring sovereign currency. I have zero desire to do the end game stuff, I assume that has to be where you get that currency.

i changed Grindstone for La Potence ... 5% projectile speed vs 10% dmg to weakpoints and ability to see weakpoints on la peste ships

Only if you have 50k to spend for each one yes. More po8= more sovereigns for gear
no, to get diamond for the season you need 3.3k po8/d, with all red isle lvl 7 you get 15k/run, that's the max I would recommend getting, if getting bored you can expand on africa and indies, but I wouldn't recommend to got further than lvl5 if you plan on getting the all map, the silver cost for a all map lvl 10 is 1.5million silver/day

Upgrade your helm books, then you can turn 2 white skull rum into 2 gold skull rum
Level your distillery to level 7 then it's 2 white skull rum to male 1 you'll need 2k white skull to make 1k golf skull so 4k white skulls to get two scurlocks long nines etc

When you finish level 30 of the Smugglers levels in that chain you get TWO Carronades, not just one.

I hope sooner they make a ship that allows the cannons to heal yourself some kind of way because without in game voice chat it sort of pointless to make a healing ship unless you know for sure you are going to have a trio or duo playing

On console the smugglers pass tab doesn’t show! Which means the only way to access the menu is when you earn a new mark!

Wanna solo any fort (mega fort doable solo but way to much time to be worth it), wanna destroy in PvP events, wanna kill level 15 DMC ships like hot knife through butter, while also hardly ever using a repair kit at all?
Barque, Twin Winch Ballista, Bask IIIs on both sides, long nine on the back with Leopold III mortar.
Furniture, Black Prince Armor, Rigging station, Lo Potence, spiked war horn, boatsman call, culveron works.
If you want tips on specific in game activity reply here stating which one and I will try and explain how to use this build for it.
Highlights: Disables wall/towers ability to shoot back quickly, many more crew attacks, deadly weakpoint hits, hull is healing .5% a second, once hull below 33% you take half damage thus making heal boosted, if hull goes under 20% heal is boosted to 1.5% a second. Also a very strong build in PvP.
Also I will craft Bask IIIs for anyone that supplies mats.
Pretty much what I got on me now. Just need to get the Black Prince, closest I got is Royal Custodian. I can trigger the bonus armor perk with lvl 1 repair kits every 20 seconds.
I mean you'd still get wrecked by the toxic damage even with a healing ship.
The main thing is if you have heals on your from someone who has one of these you can't really die because they can heal you with furniture for like 70% more.
Also, pretty sure those rogue sniper type ships would still wreck that ship.
I don't think the healing in PVP is that crazy because if you have flooding and fire damage it will out damage your heals.
That's why you have the status effect kits, and regular healing kits
If you are standing in one la peste poison area without the armor, you can have 3 healer on you it wouldn't save you
for the sniper build, it is one of the most powerfull one yes, the maneuvrability and speed of the barque is his best asset in that case
@@WaallouhKits don't really matter much due to their long cool down. Most people don't even run the status kits.
Also, I can just solo a build like this with a 3 set of long nines. The healing can't keep up with the broken long nines. If you mix Long nines with the toxic it's easy to beat this ship in PVP. Break the sails with long nines and land a toxic mortar. GG.
The only way this build is any good in say PVP would be if there was another one and both had healing builds. It would be hard to beat the heals of another ship given a single mortar can do like 12k heals.

Can someone help me do you have to get the 90 coins, before it unlocks, because i have 63.
You have to insert the coins in to the paths in order to unlock so with each coin choose what you would like to unlock first.

What I haven’t seen you address is why they nerfed sailing speed during helm wagers.
Because they want to encourage pvp fights, so the carrier gets slowed to have more catchup, therefore more pvp fight opportunity
I can't pick up any maps, I have 0 in inventory and warehouse. Says I have to many and can't pick any up.
That's a nasty bug.. clear your inventory save for one banana or something, and go feed your dowe to a beast. Hippo or crock or bitty fish. Hippo is my favorite. Then spawn back at dock, grab your favorite floater and go smack around some rogues with a few cannon balls. Should be able to pick up those maps. Just, maybe don't go back for what the animal took. Or do. Idk.
Right so here is the possible fix it has happened to me before here is what I did,
So when you bought, crafted or changed ship the maps you previously had stayed on your old ship cargo this means you have to switch around all of your ships until you find the maps in their cargo with that they should then stay on you and it shouldn't re occur and if it does just repeat this process 😃

It unlocks the schematics. You have to get the mats and then build it

Pick up a Helm delivery (or several) and don't complete it. The Rogues will continually respawn, especially in the open seas, and give 160 infamy points per kill. You can level up the pass very quickly this way. I went from level 1 to level 60 in the pass in the first day doing this over the course of an afternoon
It was because he crafted his first Barque and completed the 2000sp challenge which gave him 2 smugglers marks.
Are lower deck weapons even used? I only ever see the upper deck weapons fire.
They are yes, but only when equipped with specific cannon types.

I like the build in principle, but I felt your damage output seemed quite low. Took quite some time to take those rogues down.
I don't like the Dardanelles.
On paper, they deal the most damage. sure.
But they are harder to aim with, and if you miss - you miss all shots, because of unison.
Just look at his fight here, unless he was standing right next to the ship he was shooting at - he missed almost every shot with the Dards 😅
And in that case, whatever other gun you're good fighting/aiming with... will deal more damage then the Dardanelle's. Just just how it is.
You'll get use to the aim, and not miss shots at that point, the dd's have more accuracy than the long guns, and can shoot at the same range, it's also for an ammunition purpose I've chosen the dardanelles, since they aren't the same ammo type as the carronade, and the carronade can eat cannonballs pretty quickly
Why are forts so hard at level 8 when you need drill bits so many ships never seen a level 13 DMC ship until I was trying to take a fort it's just a joke
Try the ghost ship event. It’s level 7 or 8 and can drop like 5 drilling bits at a time. One spawns not too far from Saint anne

@@deltafox409 yes. Guaranteed spawn. Just wait until night time and go to one of the many spawns. If you board it you get bonus drilling bits. The ship is a bit of a tank but as long as you have plenty of ammo and hit weak spots you are on easy street. Anything is better than facing down a DMC fleet when doing a fort for 2 lousy bits.

Maybe our community can help me out, I have friends I play with and team with in every other game. But they see zero appeal in Skull and Bones… they ask what I see in it and can’t figure out how to explain why it’s my cup of tea and not theirs. Is there a build that maximizes the Carronades?
Brig has flooding from ramming, leopold, and the carronades - flood central.
yes as he said, there is also the torpedoes that apply flooding damages, but sadly they all are bad weapons, can still use it for ammunition diversity
I would think that the leopold3 and then flooding demi cannons or culverns on the front and back would max that out because you cause flooding quicker.

they are farming infamy, aka: grab 6 helm delivery missions, this will cause npc's to spawn in sets of 2(you do not need the actual items for these missions), then you just kill those spawning ships over & over without completing the helm missions you'll get like +160 infamy per ship and 1000 infamy is 1 smuggler token
using this strat they can make a nice penny in silver & farm the smugglers tokens super fast.
there is also a repeatable missions from rahma (arms at night? i think its called) that gives you like 1250 infamy and only takes a couple of mins to complete with a brig (accept the mission -> fast travel to necropolis -> go sink the ship -> sail back to necropolis & grab the item from the chest -> fast travel to rahma to finish the quest)

Me personally I think wrathful ward is better than black prince same armor value if I’m not mistaken but has better resistance across the board. I could be wrong but I remember seeing the resistance and choosing wrathful ward over black prince I don’t think I would have not chosen the prince if I seen it had higher resistance, I almost beat a barqe yesterday with full fire bomber III and leopold iii in my brig butbthere was 4 other ships defending it, idk if it had this build or not though, but it was really tanky for sure

No, the carronade don't help charging crew attack, and this build is around passive healing, there are more interesting ships for this furniture

@@MrMgage13 if you are interested by a healer build, the cutter is actually the best healer ship in the game now, and yes lower gs than the barque, but no impact since you'll only be healing.
But if you want to do some healing with it, you can still put a repair bombard in front or back slot, and changing one elemental damage (the culverin one is the weakest) by joinery (heal +10%)
The carronades need a reworks, their perk flooting doesnt work proberly.
About the dardonelles, i cant use them on xbox, cant play whit them do the precize aim required

@@miikkas6887 no it’s a different type of ship. I understand that they are similer in looks, but thats just the style of the 1700s Europe ships. Maybe it could be cool if they added decor options to the ships, so people could make their own style choices.
@@johnnynielensted Yeh decor options would be nice in future. But I rather have this look atm than identical hull with Snow, with one different shape sail to tell apart. New ships added to game should always look unique no matter what, not just a recolour. Thats just lazy from like 3-week old game. They just don´t have any art designs ready I think. There´s just few npc only ship designs left in game and those are large ships. Medium ship looks are spent.
