Hello everyone I commissioned this. Firstly, Thank you so much to Brandon for cooking a fire track, it literally sounds like a sonic adventure tune and I love it🔥. And of course RedRunner for the stella art for this for this battle of brains. 🧠 Eggman is one of my favourite Villains ever and I would love to see the interactions between these 2 talking about their genius and out smarting each other. I recommend giving the IDW Sonic comics a read as they are a lot of fun as well. Have a good day everyone 😊 Battle Scenario time: In west city the people are going about their daily lives when a rumbling can be heard in the distance. Soon, the Egg Fleet Arrives with Dr Eggman aboard the egg carrier. "Approaching target boss but do we really need to do another treasure hunt for 7 artifacts." "Quiet Cubot my research is exact, with these Dragon Balls I can finally crush that Hedgehog and Rule the World." Suddenly the Lights start flickering and a face appears on one of the screens. "Dr Eggman, its an honour to speak to a man with an intellect on par with my own. If we weren't after the same thing I'd welcome the opportunity to work together. However only one can claim the Dragon Balls and the Red Ribbon Army's will is absolute." As he says this the Red Ribbon Army gathers to stand off against the Egg Fleet. "Well Dr my understanding is your Army was defeated by a mere child. With my unmatched Genius, the Eggman Empire will crush you." "An Empire that requires animals to power them wheras we don't need such a thing and I belive this empire is bested by a hedgehog constantly." "Very well Let us see who is the one true Scientist Supreme Eggman Empire Attack."
@@gogetablue942 yup, seems to be why they can have multiple musicians for multiple videos, and why some happened, like the dragon born vs chosen undead. and it makes sense, death battles themselves are commissioned by the community, with the request system being an open thing, for free to everyone. If you think you have a fun one, suggest it, who knows. They don't seem to like my mech battle idea, but that's fair, i was asking for two grunt units rather than main characters. Still want to see a zaku fight something tho.

..Huh, that's track art that actually shows the characters faces. That's awesome! Also, I believe Doc Botniks got this in the bag. He's superior in almost every way excluding raw firepower and maybe strength. I think it'd be cool if the fight ended like Ultron v Sigma where Eggman takes control of Gero's mechanical side somehow. I think the ONLY way Eggman stands a chance would be if he gets to use his metal virus goop on Dr Gero’s androids,turning them against him otherwise it’s a M-EGG-A stomp for Dr Gero 😎

As cool as the two doctors fighting is, I feel like they would cooperate. Robotnik would be intrigued by Gero’s process for designing cyborgs and likewise Gero for Eggman’s robots. Imagine if they both designed a metal sonic that ran on infinite like Android 17 and 18. I feel like there’s a really cool story idea there.
I had thought of a DB and Sonic crossover story with them teaming up. Where they make like 12/13 new Androids with a Chinese Zodiac theme combining both of their mechanical expertise and Gero's prowess in bio-engineering.
@@RangerW36 Most likely but also had thought of one of their new Androids, a cat one made from some of Beerus's DNA/cells. would betray them after being unleashed forcing them to team up with the heroes. Mostly Eggman cause Gero would probably be killed.
I think Eggman might have this. The phantom ruby can seemingly badly affect machines seeing how Infinite beat Omega in the Sonic Forces which could prove a problem with Geros machinery. Metal has a super form and Metal overlord. SAGE has Supreme that can scale to Super Sonic and hurt the END in Frontiers. Eggman has the metal virus which would effect the organic portions of Gero's androids, has rush bosses, Time Eater, and a Super form that can all fight Super Sonic. Super Eggman can even summon multiple copies of Perfect chaos and Dark Gaia to add to his army.

An interesting debate for sure. Honestly, I think Eggman has this due to better battle strategy, experience, and versatility. Gero and his machines may have better individual stats, but Eggman has a lot more stuff to throw at him. Some of which Gero has never seen before. Not to mention that despite all his research, Gero has only really been in a few fights (all of which he only ever claimed victory in 1… against YAMCHA!) Lastly, some people are saying Gero should have 16, 17, 18, and Cell all on his team… Uh? No. The twins HATE him to the point of murder (even Super 17 betrayed him in GT if I recall correctly). And while 16 and Cell are Gero’s creations, they could care less about him. When both found out Gero was dead, they were indifferent and proceeded to do their own thing. That just leaves Gero with Androids 19, 14, 15, and 13. Well they are strong in their own right, all Metal Sonic and Sage need to do is do a quick scan and they can warn Eggman about Gero and 19’s energy draining abilities. As well as figuring out 13’s upgrades from absorbing 14 and 15’s parts and pulling the plug on that problem immediately. And yes, I believe both Metal and Sage are capable of figuring those things out. Metal’s whole thing is copying people through analysis. And Sage was the only character in Sonic Frontiers that figured out the truth with The End and what really happened with The Ancients before the plot twist became fully clear. In fact, Sage can probably sabotage the androids and make them go berserk just like she did with the titans and manipulating them to fight Sonic.
I'm pretty sure the assumption that he has all of his creations is due to the track art and also due to Death Battle generally giving combatants _all_ their resources, even if they didn't canonically coexist (like Link having items from his different iterations). Same reason that Eggman would be assumed to have Omega here (as shown in the thumbnail) even though Omega similarly hates and has turned against Eggman. Plus, it's more fun.
I think he’d have Android 16. The reason 16 didn’t care about Gero being dead is because 16 (before his character development) just blindly follows his programming, with no freewill, just like 14-15. If Gero was still alive to control the programming of a freshly awakened 16, he’d follow. It’s not like 16 would make much of a difference anyways though. I think this fight is a lot more interesting (and a lot less of a stomp) if you look at it as, “Eggman VS The Red Ribbon Army.” Because then you can have all the Androids, tons of fodder soldiers on both sides, and you could have your hype finale with a big Eggman mech like the EggDragoon or Nega-Wisp Armor, versus Cell MAX.
I say we can give Gero Android 17 and 18, he was able to control them and take them down the first time they rebelled so he could probably do it again under these circumstances. And them killing him THIS time would be after Eggman is dealt with, which is still a victory as Might Guy's was.

Depends on how the fight goes. If it's like Wily vs Eggman where they use all the creations of each scientist, it's Gero's victory because of Cell. If it's mano e mano, it might go to Eggman due to him scaling to Sonic while Gero gets bodied by SSJ1 Goku.
Dr. Wily vs Dr. Gero would be an interesting one. Especially depending on how you scale the Robot Masters. But at least the battle of their greatest creations, Perfect Cell and Zero, would be fire

Eggman meanwhile has Metal Sonic who, like cell can also copy abilities and transform to stronger forms. If it scanned cell they’d have a problem that’s for sure.

Honestly really like this track art since I can see who is fighting Sometimes they’re recognizable names like these two combatants so not super necessary to show their face And other times it’s characters from a super obscure anime with unidentifiable weapons and magic in the art with names like Yakima and Montreal and I have no clue who either are

1. From the name to the art to _especially_ the track, to a match-up I _wish_ I'd thought of myself... _This is AWESOME!_ 2. I feel like this depends on what we give Eggman. Obviously, as an individual, Gero is _way_ stronger, and his Androids would probably curbstomp even Metal Sonic, but Eggman's had a _lot_ of reality warping stuff that could _easily_ turn the tides in his favor if given to him.
I personally think that the stronger versions of Eggman's robots could defeat Gero stronger androids. Like Ultimate Gmerld type which far surpasses Ultimate Emerld in power which could practically destroy a star cluster. Or Metal Overlord who practically Super Sonic the same one who was able to defeat Ultimate Gemerld (with the help of Eggman) needed the help of Knuckles and Tails but still had difficulties
Gero is stronger but eggman has created things that would cough and destroy anything gero has made just from that. If they were to have a robot war, eggman would win without even knowing he was fighting someone.
I should note that Metal Sonic did attempt to transform to his Super Form by absorbing the Master Emerald's power in Sonic Mania Adventures before Knuckles abruptly punched Metal Sonic away from it. Until in the Sonic IDW Comics, as Neo Metal Sonic, he did successfully turned into Super Neo Metal Sonic with just the Master Emerald itself(and maybe copied Sonic and Shadow's Bio-data too). Heck, even Mecha Sonic MK.II could also transform into Super Mecha Sonic by absorbing the Master Emerald's power all on its own for a short amount of time, unless he unleashes the energy spheres attack before reverting back to normal and has to recharge from there.
@@boltthelunarian1405True, if Metal could access his Super form, that would help a lot, as would Metal Overlord w/ Chaos Control if he still has access to it (but Death Battle's given that to him in both his appearances I believe). He could also copy the data of the Androids, which, while not an automatic victory, would give him a rather large edge. Still, Eggman, in large part at least, would need to get a lot of his stuff in place in order to have higher chances of success. His _average_ machines would still get annihilated by the Androids. (Also, if killing restraint not being considered would allow 16 to use his bomb earlier than he normally would, he could blow up the planet, though that might not count for much since that would also likely wipe out Gero's team.) There's also the question of if 17 has Super feats since he was long distanced from the Red Ribbon Army by then, which could seriously affect the outcome. (Even outside of whether _GT_ is canon, I don't think the _other_ "Super 17" would be available since it required Hell Fighter 17, who was a creation of Dr. Myuu. In any case, DBS 17 would be stronger anyways.)

By the lord that's a cool trackart, probably one of the best any commission's ever had. Also, I'll admit I thought that was Eggman VS Willy getting a track for a moment. Track itself is about what you'd expect from the matchup. Very classic with high energy and quite catchy with an antagonistic but not outright evil feel to it. It fits really well the theming of the matchup for sure. After reading the description, I'll definitely say that the "classic DB/Sonic feel" is nailed very well. I will say that I don't have too much to say on the track itself tho. As said it fits really well that classic feeling and fits the characters quite well with a couple standout segments that I'll mention in a bit but in general it's somewhat standard by Brandon Yates standards: a really solid and fitting track that's enjoyable but not revolutionary. Does make me wonder if the track is set to receive vocals ? Well either way this won't stop me from mentioning the few things and segments that do stick out to me. First of course being the main melody that the song has. In a way it almost reminds me of a Mega-Man melody in how it sounds but either way it sounds really nice. It fits really well with the tone of the matchup and is catchy as sin without ending up sounding redundant because of the various shifts and changes it has throughout the song. It's a really good choice for a main melody. But the main highlight of the song to me is the various segments of the track that go much harder than the rest of the song (IE: 0:42-1:01). There's a few of them all throughout the song and they give a lot of dynamism to it in addition to just sounding amazing as a whole. It's also interesting to have a song where the intensity goes in bursts like that with a relatively normalized intensity that has a couple segments that ascend way above this average, makes the thing quite unique. And it also fits the matchup too given that those two would mostly fight by throwing their own creations at one another so each peak of the song can easily represent the peak of a clash between two of their creations. In fact, this even extends to the ending where the song ends in a relatively low note with no grandiose climax or anything to that extent because the ending of that battle would be Eggman and Gero themselves with no minions fighting one another, so by default much less intense than the fights between their creations. It's a very interesting detail that may not please everyone but I think it fits so I'm all for it. Overall this track is just a really solid track all around. It's enjoyable, it fits the characters and it has a bit of depth just present enough to allow some interpretation. It's not revolutionary as said earlier but that doesn't make it bad in the slightest. A good but not legendary song fit for a good but not legendary matchup, good combo. Amazing job as always with this.
Is the guy at the bottom right supposed to be Android 16 because i can recognize 17, 18, cell and 21. Also because i can see sage and 16 being below the others because they are in a way a family member to both eggman and gero with sage being eggmans ai daughter and 16 being made in the image of geros son.
If Death Battle were to make a fight between these two characters, I wish for DevilArtemis to be 3D Animated much as he did with "Perfect Cell Vs Dr. Eggman" a few days ago.

AND The fact he tethered multiple planets to earth *without* causing significant destruction of planetary rotations and gravitational forces really shows just how genius he is. You know, if we're assuming that gets 17 & 18 under his control for this fight, Sage could awaken in them their og memories, which would result in what we saw in the og show Also, Eggman ftw. Gero has higher raw power, but Eggy and his army just has him outnumber him with the shadow androids, Infinite's creations; not to mention heavy hitters like Metal and Mecha
Eggman canonically has a super form now (one that was able to create entire timelines no less) so he could also just straight up throw hands with anything Gero throws at him
@@slothoverlord4388 Super Eggman might not be as important as you'd think. As shown in Unleashed's opening, a Super Form can have their energy drained, so Gero could drain him back to his base form.
@@floatingf8783 That was by Eggman specifically making a machine to harness the chaos emeralds - a level of knowledge relating to how Super forms and the Chaos Emeralds work that Dr Gero would not have. On top of that, Eggman's super form originated from the Phantom Ruby and not the Chaos Emeralds - something that, like the Chaos Emeralds, was self-sufficient throughout Mania and by the end of Sonic Forces.
@@floatingf8783 There is a limit to how much Gero can absorb at a given time. Eggman would overload Gero or break off his hands like Vegeta did android 19.
While I’ll admit this is probably Eggman’s best current MU, I’d say another good one would be against the Combine from Half-Life. Both the Eggman Empire and the Combine are surprisingly similar, from their usage of and modifications to organic life, and their obvious 1984 inspirations. Eggman’s is mainly shown whenever he has control over the world, IE Sonic Forces, Sonic Prime, Sonic Unleashed (Eggmanland) though I suppose it’s more just Soviet Russia in general. Though when in regards to this MU, Eggman stomps this. All of Gero’s creations can’t hope to stack up against Eggman’s power level with just a few of them. Sure 17 and 18 are powerful, the most powerful of everyone on Gero’s side if we count Super. But they wouldn’t listen to him, as a matter of fact the last time he tried to order them to do anything, they killed him. Cell excels against organic since he can absorb them, Eggman doesn’t use organic machines, and the power source of many of his machines are simple woodland critters, Cell wouldn’t gain anything from absorbing them. That is assuming we aren’t using modern day Eggman machine rules, because nowadays he doesn’t use animals, well it’s more random when he does I suppose, ‘06, Unleashed, some of Generations, and Forces all don’t have animals powering the machines. And the movies, despite not being canon to the games, follows that philosophy. Despite how people might assume, Metal Sonic doesn’t really have any desire to rebel, sure every now and then he does what he wants even if it’s against the wishes of Eggman, Heroes and Rivals 2 are good examples. But Metal Sonic is still loyal to Eggman by choice, the two of them have a father son bond as shown in the comics. Sage and 16 are very similar with how they grew and the choices they made in the end, so I can see the two of them having a discussion on life and their values before fighting, a battle 16 can’t win by virtue of Sage projecting via Cyberspace so she can’t be harmed by anything that isn’t connected to it. If we assume she gets Supreme, that alone qualifies her for probably being the strongest in the fight overall. Supreme alongside Super Sonic managed to kill the avatar of entropy, a physical manifestation of the concept of death itself, something none of the fighters on Gero’s side have the capabilities of. But Supreme was one of the Ancients Titans so it doesn’t belong to, nor was it created by Eggman.
The End didn’t have any kind of conceptual immortality. You didn't have to be able to destroy the concept of Death or anything to defeat it, point to The End being so strong Sonic needed a new Super Form (and then essentially detonating that new form) to kill it.
This would honestly help so cool to see especially depending on what robot/machine you give Eggman and what Android you give Gero. Like you could have Metal Sonic and Cell going at it, Android 16 and Gamma interacting with each other. The movie androids like 13, 14 15 going up against other robot like Silver Sonic, Mecha Sonic, Mecha Knuckles, Shadow Androids and etc. for 17, 18, and 19 you could have Sage get involved by using a titan she controlled. Lastly for 21 I think you could have Infinite clash with her. For Gero and Eggman well I imagine Gero absorbing the energy of Eggman’s multiple machines but not really being able to harm the stronger ones like the Egg Salamander for example. If you wany you could even have Dr Myuu from Gt team up with Gero and have Classic Eggman or Eggman nega or even Starline on Eggman’s side to make it interesting. This could then lead to a Super 17 and Super Android 13 vs Metal Overlord or Master Overlord fight
Unforrunately, Gero's name uses the ゲ (ge) katakana and not the ケ (ke) kana, and while けろ (kero) is ribbiting onomatopeia, げろ (gero) is instead regurgitating or vomiting, which matches with the name of his wife who 21 is based on, Vomi
This is such a cool match up, I’d personally love the idea of the climax being Eggman using the chaos emeralds himself and transforming into something like in the 2nd Sonic movie or like the fan game Sonic ATS. Although it does raise a question, chaos emeralds vs dragon balls?
Again, if characters from previous death battle season do come back for a second chance than I would most definitely would lot to see this death battle.
B: Sure watching robots fight was fun but unless for gero to get his head knocked off again, he had to break a few dozen eggs. W: The winner is Dr, Eggman

I think Eggman would win in a fight. Eggman has WAY MORE destructive tech than Gero. Gero has never seen the stuff that Eggman has. It’s possible that Eggman could hack into Android 16 and learn all of Geros plans. Since 16 is 100% a robot I have no doubt he can do this. By the way, 16’s hair in the art doesn’t like right.
Dr. Eggman's got what they give Sonic a lot. The chaos emeralds. But take them away, like I took the emeralds away, and I can more safely equal the batttle. By safely, I mean perhaps Eggman would want those emeralds. Dr. Gero's inventions, while Eggman's at his peak power before chaos emeralds, would turn Eggman's entire empire into a building. Dr. Gero had made happy accidents that have been some of the biggest risks to the planets he was on in his series. Two of which famously tagged along the most powerful being in that script's multiverse. Eggman would have quite a rough time with Gero's stuff without the ace in the hole every Sonic Fan bequeaths the characters. The emeralds are compatible with a few of his inventions, causing the match to turn the other way. Perhaps I could throw in the chaos emeralds, but Eggman will have to earn them through the battle. If he can survive. It'd be a tossup between a failed race against the clock, or a villain underdog victory story.
I can only make out so much from the silhouettes at the sides on the right from bottom to top is Android 16, 19, Cell, 21 17 and 18. On the left is Sage, Mecha Sonic, Metal Sonic, Infinite, E-Series 123 Omega, and 102 Gamma.
Frankly, my money's on Dr. Gero. He casually made 2 robots stronger than Frieza that could drain your life, and that's before talking about androids 16 through 18. Also, if Cell is allowed in this, well... I shouldn't need to explain that one, should I?
Super Sonic is able to fight reality bending gods. The fact that Eggman has machines durable enough to hang with Super Sonic is proof of his craftsmanship

If this word to happen Then I think Dr. gero would win given to his stronger physiology and how he literally made androids can handle people like Goku Vegeta and other Dragon Ball characters since they are already planetary level and more, but if we were going to the Archie comics with Dr. Eggman, then Eggman would win because it’s Archie comics and we all know how powerful they can be

Eggman seems to get Infinite, Sage, the E-100 series, Metal Sonic, etc. Meanwhile Gero seems to get Androids 13-21 and Cell. So it’s just Android 17 running the gauntlet and sweeping everyone
If Gero has Android Saga 17 and 18, Sage should be able to possess them. Back then, they were able to be shut down, so there's clearly some level of mechanical control there.

Battle Scenario time:
In west city the people are going about their daily lives when a rumbling can be heard in the distance. Soon, the Egg Fleet Arrives with Dr Eggman aboard the egg carrier. "Approaching target boss but do we really need to do another treasure hunt for 7 artifacts." "Quiet Cubot my research is exact, with these Dragon Balls I can finally crush that Hedgehog and Rule the World."
Suddenly the Lights start flickering and a face appears on one of the screens. "Dr Eggman, its an honour to speak to a man with an intellect on par with my own. If we weren't after the same thing I'd welcome the opportunity to work together. However only one can claim the Dragon Balls and the Red Ribbon Army's will is absolute."
As he says this the Red Ribbon Army gathers to stand off against the Egg Fleet.
"Well Dr my understanding is your Army was defeated by a mere child. With my unmatched Genius, the Eggman Empire will crush you."

As cool as the two doctors fighting is, I feel like they would cooperate. Robotnik would be intrigued by Gero’s process for designing cyborgs and likewise Gero for Eggman’s robots. Imagine if they both designed a metal sonic that ran on infinite like Android 17 and 18. I feel like there’s a really cool story idea there.
I had thought of a DB and Sonic crossover story with them teaming up. Where they make like 12/13 new Androids with a Chinese Zodiac theme combining both of their mechanical expertise and Gero's prowess in bio-engineering.

The phantom ruby can seemingly badly affect machines seeing how Infinite beat Omega in the Sonic Forces which could prove a problem with Geros machinery.
Metal has a super form and Metal overlord.
SAGE has Supreme that can scale to Super Sonic and hurt the END in Frontiers.
Eggman has the metal virus which would effect the organic portions of Gero's androids, has rush bosses, Time Eater, and a Super form that can all fight Super Sonic. Super Eggman can even summon multiple copies of Perfect chaos and Dark Gaia to add to his army.

An interesting debate for sure. Honestly, I think Eggman has this due to better battle strategy, experience, and versatility. Gero and his machines may have better individual stats, but Eggman has a lot more stuff to throw at him. Some of which Gero has never seen before.
Not to mention that despite all his research, Gero has only really been in a few fights (all of which he only ever claimed victory in 1… against YAMCHA!)
Lastly, some people are saying Gero should have 16, 17, 18, and Cell all on his team… Uh? No. The twins HATE him to the point of murder (even Super 17 betrayed him in GT if I recall correctly). And while 16 and Cell are Gero’s creations, they could care less about him. When both found out Gero was dead, they were indifferent and proceeded to do their own thing. That just leaves Gero with Androids 19, 14, 15, and 13.
Well they are strong in their own right, all Metal Sonic and Sage need to do is do a quick scan and they can warn Eggman about Gero and 19’s energy draining abilities. As well as figuring out 13’s upgrades from absorbing 14 and 15’s parts and pulling the plug on that problem immediately.
And yes, I believe both Metal and Sage are capable of figuring those things out. Metal’s whole thing is copying people through analysis. And Sage was the only character in Sonic Frontiers that figured out the truth with The End and what really happened with The Ancients before the plot twist became fully clear.
In fact, Sage can probably sabotage the androids and make them go berserk just like she did with the titans and manipulating them to fight Sonic.
Btw, Super 17 betrayed Gero under the Orders of Dr.Miyuu.
I'm pretty sure the assumption that he has all of his creations is due to the track art and also due to Death Battle generally giving combatants _all_ their resources, even if they didn't canonically coexist (like Link having items from his different iterations). Same reason that Eggman would be assumed to have Omega here (as shown in the thumbnail) even though Omega similarly hates and has turned against Eggman. Plus, it's more fun.
I think he’d have Android 16. The reason 16 didn’t care about Gero being dead is because 16 (before his character development) just blindly follows his programming, with no freewill, just like 14-15. If Gero was still alive to control the programming of a freshly awakened 16, he’d follow. It’s not like 16 would make much of a difference anyways though.
I think this fight is a lot more interesting (and a lot less of a stomp) if you look at it as, “Eggman VS The Red Ribbon Army.”
Because then you can have all the Androids, tons of fodder soldiers on both sides, and you could have your hype finale with a big Eggman mech like the EggDragoon or Nega-Wisp Armor, versus Cell MAX.
Android 8 would be the 2nd one to die sadly. The first is the first giant droid that kid Goku destroyed...
I say we can give Gero Android 17 and 18, he was able to control them and take them down the first time they rebelled so he could probably do it again under these circumstances. And them killing him THIS time would be after Eggman is dealt with, which is still a victory as Might Guy's was.

Depends on how the fight goes. If it's like Wily vs Eggman where they use all the creations of each scientist, it's Gero's victory because of Cell. If it's mano e mano, it might go to Eggman due to him scaling to Sonic while Gero gets bodied by SSJ1 Goku.
I think it depends on what you give Eggman. Give him something like the Time Eater and it should be an easy stomp in his favour

1. From the name to the art to _especially_ the track, to a match-up I _wish_ I'd thought of myself... _This is AWESOME!_
2. I feel like this depends on what we give Eggman. Obviously, as an individual, Gero is _way_ stronger, and his Androids would probably curbstomp even Metal Sonic, but Eggman's had a _lot_ of reality warping stuff that could _easily_ turn the tides in his favor if given to him.
I personally think that the stronger versions of Eggman's robots could defeat Gero stronger androids.
Like Ultimate Gmerld type which far surpasses Ultimate Emerld in power which could practically destroy a star cluster.
Or Metal Overlord who practically Super Sonic the same one who was able to defeat Ultimate Gemerld (with the help of Eggman) needed the help of Knuckles and Tails but still had difficulties
Gero is stronger but eggman has created things that would cough and destroy anything gero has made just from that. If they were to have a robot war, eggman would win without even knowing he was fighting someone.
I should note that Metal Sonic did attempt to transform to his Super Form by absorbing the Master Emerald's power in Sonic Mania Adventures before Knuckles abruptly punched Metal Sonic away from it. Until in the Sonic IDW Comics, as Neo Metal Sonic, he did successfully turned into Super Neo Metal Sonic with just the Master Emerald itself(and maybe copied Sonic and Shadow's Bio-data too).
Heck, even Mecha Sonic MK.II could also transform into Super Mecha Sonic by absorbing the Master Emerald's power all on its own for a short amount of time, unless he unleashes the energy spheres attack before reverting back to normal and has to recharge from there.

He could also copy the data of the Androids, which, while not an automatic victory, would give him a rather large edge. Still, Eggman, in large part at least, would need to get a lot of his stuff in place in order to have higher chances of success. His _average_ machines would still get annihilated by the Androids. (Also, if killing restraint not being considered would allow 16 to use his bomb earlier than he normally would, he could blow up the planet, though that might not count for much since that would also likely wipe out Gero's team.)
There's also the question of if 17 has Super feats since he was long distanced from the Red Ribbon Army by then, which could seriously affect the outcome. (Even outside of whether _GT_ is canon, I don't think the _other_ "Super 17" would be available since it required Hell Fighter 17, who was a creation of Dr. Myuu. In any case, DBS 17 would be stronger anyways.)

By the lord that's a cool trackart, probably one of the best any commission's ever had. Also, I'll admit I thought that was Eggman VS Willy getting a track for a moment.
Track itself is about what you'd expect from the matchup. Very classic with high energy and quite catchy with an antagonistic but not outright evil feel to it. It fits really well the theming of the matchup for sure. After reading the description, I'll definitely say that the "classic DB/Sonic feel" is nailed very well.
I will say that I don't have too much to say on the track itself tho. As said it fits really well that classic feeling and fits the characters quite well with a couple standout segments that I'll mention in a bit but in general it's somewhat standard by Brandon Yates standards: a really solid and fitting track that's enjoyable but not revolutionary. Does make me wonder if the track is set to receive vocals ? Well either way this won't stop me from mentioning the few things and segments that do stick out to me.
First of course being the main melody that the song has. In a way it almost reminds me of a Mega-Man melody in how it sounds but either way it sounds really nice. It fits really well with the tone of the matchup and is catchy as sin without ending up sounding redundant because of the various shifts and changes it has throughout the song. It's a really good choice for a main melody.
But the main highlight of the song to me is the various segments of the track that go much harder than the rest of the song (IE: 0:42-1:01). There's a few of them all throughout the song and they give a lot of dynamism to it in addition to just sounding amazing as a whole. It's also interesting to have a song where the intensity goes in bursts like that with a relatively normalized intensity that has a couple segments that ascend way above this average, makes the thing quite unique. And it also fits the matchup too given that those two would mostly fight by throwing their own creations at one another so each peak of the song can easily represent the peak of a clash between two of their creations.
In fact, this even extends to the ending where the song ends in a relatively low note with no grandiose climax or anything to that extent because the ending of that battle would be Eggman and Gero themselves with no minions fighting one another, so by default much less intense than the fights between their creations. It's a very interesting detail that may not please everyone but I think it fits so I'm all for it.
Overall this track is just a really solid track all around. It's enjoyable, it fits the characters and it has a bit of depth just present enough to allow some interpretation. It's not revolutionary as said earlier but that doesn't make it bad in the slightest. A good but not legendary song fit for a good but not legendary matchup, good combo. Amazing job as always with this.

AND The fact he tethered multiple planets to earth *without* causing significant destruction of planetary rotations and gravitational forces really shows just how genius he is. Gero aint doing shit to him lmfao
You know, if we're assuming that gets 17 & 18 under his control for this fight, Sage could awaken in them their og memories, which would result in what we saw in the og show
Also, Eggman ftw. Gero has higher raw power, but Eggy and his army just has him outnumber him with the shadow androids, Infinite's creations; not to mention heavy hitters like Metal and Mecha

Eggman canonically has a super form now (one that was able to create entire timelines no less) so he could also just straight up throw hands with anything Gero throws at him
@@slothoverlord4388 Super Eggman might not be as important as you'd think. As shown in Unleashed's opening, a Super Form can have their energy drained, so Gero could drain him back to his base form.
@@floatingf8783 That was by Eggman specifically making a machine to harness the chaos emeralds - a level of knowledge relating to how Super forms and the Chaos Emeralds work that Dr Gero would not have. On top of that, Eggman's super form originated from the Phantom Ruby and not the Chaos Emeralds - something that, like the Chaos Emeralds, was self-sufficient throughout Mania and by the end of Sonic Forces.
@@floatingf8783 There is a limit to how much Gero can absorb at a given time. Eggman would overload Gero or break off his hands like Vegeta did android 19.
While I’ll admit this is probably Eggman’s best current MU, I’d say another good one would be against the Combine from Half-Life.
Both the Eggman Empire and the Combine are surprisingly similar, from their usage of and modifications to organic life, and their obvious 1984 inspirations. Eggman’s is mainly shown whenever he has control over the world, IE Sonic Forces, Sonic Prime, Sonic Unleashed (Eggmanland) though I suppose it’s more just Soviet Russia in general.
Though when in regards to this MU, Eggman stomps this. All of Gero’s creations can’t hope to stack up against Eggman’s power level with just a few of them. Sure 17 and 18 are powerful, the most powerful of everyone on Gero’s side if we count Super. But they wouldn’t listen to him, as a matter of fact the last time he tried to order them to do anything, they killed him. Cell excels against organic since he can absorb them, Eggman doesn’t use organic machines, and the power source of many of his machines are simple woodland critters, Cell wouldn’t gain anything from absorbing them. That is assuming we aren’t using modern day Eggman machine rules, because nowadays he doesn’t use animals, well it’s more random when he does I suppose, ‘06, Unleashed, some of Generations, and Forces all don’t have animals powering the machines. And the movies, despite not being canon to the games, follows that philosophy.
Despite how people might assume, Metal Sonic doesn’t really have any desire to rebel, sure every now and then he does what he wants even if it’s against the wishes of Eggman, Heroes and Rivals 2 are good examples. But Metal Sonic is still loyal to Eggman by choice, the two of them have a father son bond as shown in the comics.
Sage and 16 are very similar with how they grew and the choices they made in the end, so I can see the two of them having a discussion on life and their values before fighting, a battle 16 can’t win by virtue of Sage projecting via Cyberspace so she can’t be harmed by anything that isn’t connected to it. If we assume she gets Supreme, that alone qualifies her for probably being the strongest in the fight overall. Supreme alongside Super Sonic managed to kill the avatar of entropy, a physical manifestation of the concept of death itself, something none of the fighters on Gero’s side have the capabilities of. But Supreme was one of the Ancients Titans so it doesn’t belong to, nor was it created by Eggman.
The End didn’t have any kind of conceptual immortality. You didn't have to be able to destroy the concept of Death or anything to defeat it, point to The End being so strong Sonic needed a new Super Form (and then essentially detonating that new form) to kill it.

This would honestly help so cool to see especially depending on what robot/machine you give Eggman and what Android you give Gero. Like you could have Metal Sonic and Cell going at it, Android 16 and Gamma interacting with each other. The movie androids like 13, 14 15 going up against other robot like Silver Sonic, Mecha Sonic, Mecha Knuckles, Shadow Androids and etc. for 17, 18, and 19 you could have Sage get involved by using a titan she controlled. Lastly for 21 I think you could have Infinite clash with her.
For Gero and Eggman well I imagine Gero absorbing the energy of Eggman’s multiple machines but not really being able to harm the stronger ones like the Egg Salamander for example. If you wany you could even have Dr Myuu from Gt team up with Gero and have Classic Eggman or Eggman nega or even Starline on Eggman’s side to make it interesting. This could then lead to a Super 17 and Super Android 13 vs Metal Overlord or Master Overlord fight

Unforrunately, Gero's name uses the ゲ (ge) katakana and not the ケ (ke) kana, and while けろ (kero) is ribbiting onomatopeia, げろ (gero) is instead regurgitating or vomiting, which matches with the name of his wife who 21 is based on, Vomi

I think Eggman would win in a fight. Eggman has WAY MORE destructive tech than Gero. Gero has never seen the stuff that Eggman has. It’s possible that Eggman could hack into Android 16 and learn all of Geros plans. Since 16 is 100% a robot I have no doubt he can do this. By the way, 16’s hair in the art doesn’t like right.

Dr. Eggman's got what they give Sonic a lot. The chaos emeralds. But take them away, like I took the emeralds away, and I can more safely equal the batttle. By safely, I mean perhaps Eggman would want those emeralds. Dr. Gero's inventions, while Eggman's at his peak power before chaos emeralds, would turn Eggman's entire empire into a building. Dr. Gero had made happy accidents that have been some of the biggest risks to the planets he was on in his series. Two of which famously tagged along the most powerful being in that script's multiverse. Eggman would have quite a rough time with Gero's stuff without the ace in the hole every Sonic Fan bequeaths the characters. The emeralds are compatible with a few of his inventions, causing the match to turn the other way. Perhaps I could throw in the chaos emeralds, but Eggman will have to earn them through the battle. If he can survive. It'd be a tossup between a failed race against the clock, or a villain underdog victory story.

If Gero has Android Saga 17 and 18, Sage should be able to possess them. Back then, they were able to be shut down, so there's clearly some level of mechanical control there.
