2005-2007 Howard Stern, Bubba the Love Sponge, Scottie Ferrell was Radio Gold. I miss those days; driving a Cab in Denver and waiting for the BTLS intro song( Full trucker Effect) to come on and getting pumped for the BTLS show to come on.

They'd do an extra bit (Gatorade Deal, Gatorade Deal 2, Clear Channel POD or the 25 song) if they needed extra time...the one day BTLS came on after that bit and said "Oh man, you guys are really gonna hate us" and went into the Price Is Right song. That was like a 10 minute intro that day.
I remember the days when Bubba just came on with stern. Those were the golden days for sure. My dad would pick me up from high-school back in 06-08 and everytime I'd open up that truck door Bubba and the crew would be cutting a promo, or running a bit, or one of Ned's songs would be going off, or someone would be getting liquid assed. If you don't remember Lasker and tree man Tom you missed out.

Lol the golden days were when he was doing evenings on the Power Pig. That was absolutely legendary in Tampa. There are clips on RUclips.

I remember my mother dropping me off at high school in the morning sometimes from 2001-2005 and having Stern playing every time I would step in the car as well. And hearing Bubba every now and then. It was great.
Manson and his characters were the only reason I listened to you back in the day. Sensamilla Street, Ned and all the other bits were gold.

He wasn’t getting 600k a year in 2018 when he was borrowing that car. That was only during the Sirius days he saw anywhere near that, and I’d bet Bubba is exaggerating the number even then. They were all broke asses by 2018.

Been listening to the show since 2000. Loved all the crazy bits and all the funny people that have been on air over the years and Bubba is the funny ring master of all, no matter what happens he managed to bounce back 👍

Shit Bubba I haven't heard you in many years. Was there from the start of Sirius till the end, (up in Canada) seen you on Koncrete Podcast so here I am. Glad you're still kicking and doing what's best for you. Only question I got is are you still cool with Lasker and is he involved on the show these days? Glad to be able to tap back in.

Had to sub this channel. Bubba has had a rough few yrs as of late but for real besides Howard he’s the best radio guy of all time. His show was Sternlike but more free wheeling and w/the southern flavor on Bubba could bring. Glad you’re doing well again brother
I dunno man…I wouldn’t go that far. Art Bell was a master, the grease man was an ultimate technician, Jay Thomas, even Opie and Anthony (when guys like Patrice and Colin Quinn were around). It’s all a matter of opinion obviously…but Bubba was a pretty middle of the road act in the grand scheme of things.

I listened to Manson since 1996. He was the first prank call/parody song maker I ever encountered and I still think he's the greatest to ever do it. He's a heady comical genius.

Morning talk has changed. If it's not your cup of tea, it never will be some people like listening, radio and commercials and songs played repetitively. The aspect where you can actually sit down and keep people entertained for 4 hours of the day is amazing. Howard was the best! They both had to change their styles but bubba's the one that's keeping it closest to reality. I miss the old Howard. I love the new bubba! God bless you, Anna 😜

I started listening back to the show the week Manson left...It was awkward and hard to tell what was going on. I had a hate on Bubba years ago when he was being an ass to everyone when They just lost Sirius. I tried to listen to Manson and the ClusterFuck but its down right horrible....Its not like Manson doesnt try but Ned on his own all the time and the stoner vibe is just wayyyy over the top. Its too bad but now that Bubba has found his grove again I think Bubba Blitz Anna Lummy and Dan are radio gold and I dont look to listen the Howard anymore as he's god damn terrible now as well. Keep on keeping on Bubba!

I randomly thought about Bubba when I saw something about Hogan. I did a deep dive since I quit listening to the show near the end of the Sirius days. I felt bad for him reading all the crap that’s happened. But then I saw this and it reminded me of how narcissistic and delusional he was. My pity quickly left and it was almost satisfying to see how far he has fallen.

Manson being shitty towards buddy worked, not only because it was funny, but because there would be more meaningful moments when they respected each other.
Everyone knows the best lineup of all time was the Calta era going into the hatley era.
Eh, I still think the Power Pig era was the best. Of course that wasn't a proper show, it was more of a DJ thing, but it was so freaking iconic. I've grown to loathe Calta over the years, he might have every right to despise Bubba, but I still think he's a weasel and a bitch.

Manson is so talented, but was always the weakest one. Was his value worth 600K? Absolutely not. But, he was Bubba’s best wingman, & when the rubber hit the road, Manson was the primary catalyst behind the show’s incredible success. Only mistake made was hiring that room temperature IQ’d, 98 Rock fill in hack, & mooch spice to the show…Bubba with Manson is the very finest in the business, but not without him.
None of those other shows had a Manson. Guy did the best parody’s and played a complete fictitious character that was second most popular and a highlight of the show.
You two made great combo. Best radio I've ever heard.

I first found BTLS when Bubba made it to the place with no oxygen. I loved the show but lost the ablity to follow him . I am happy to be a follower on twitch and sub on RUclips. I woupd never have thought anyone was making the money , not even Bubba , that was discussed in this clip. I hope this show can continue till Bubba just can't anymore.
