it blows my mind that many of these people just woke up, brushed their teeth, probably ate something / coffee, and came there to record this without ever seeing the piece, probably presented the first time, they didnt know the style or anything... And then you hear this perfection.. True Master Musicians, nothing but respect!!!
It's all a matter of who you know to get on these scoring sessions and also on broadway. When you get older, you make more connections. I have some colleagues out west who do these hollywood sessions and it's definitely cool to know who's playing behind the film.
@@EvanYoungMusic I would love to talk to you more about being a movie sessions player! If you want we can exchange Instagrams so we can talk more about the industry! Looking for some advice.
If anyone want to here the final product, this is in the end credits starting at 2:38 Here is a link directing right to this portion: ruclips.net/video/dmkCDCnnjwg/видео.html

Mate I've never thought about this before...
I mean you still need to practice, even as a professional, however it's definitely easier for them.
Most movie recordings dont have time for practice. It could be different for pixar @@JPS13Laptop
They should have done a professional documental about this. I would've loved to watch it and heard it. At least we have this! Thank you for posting!
I think that era is gone with the DVDs . No one cares for the bonus features anymore… used to be the best part
@miguelvela686 maybe they will make a 10th anniversary doc or so, e.g. toy story bonuses were published only on 10th anniversary as I remember?
I was legit grinning the whole time I was in the theatre to see Incredibles 2. I couldn’t get the theme song out of my head

Magical.
It's beautiful!!
Great Job Gordon on this orchestration
amazing🤩
Weird how drums were added in rather than part of the main recording. But I'm no sound engineer.
The drummer was there on the session but was in an isolated booth, probably to make it easier to mix.
