Milwaukee M12 Copper Pipe Cutter Review

Review of the Milwaukee M12 Copper Pipe Cutter, model 2471-20. The cutter automatically adjusts the diameter to cut Type K, L and M copper pipes from 3/8” to 1” (OD from ½” to 1-1/8”). This allows you to cut installed copper piping with as little as 1-1/2” clearance.

I like the fact that it is a stand-lone tool. I don't have to get an attachment and then put in the correct cutter

If you can get Milwaukee’s UK version called the Raptor on Amazon Global, I believe thy one will cut it.

I am in the HVAC industry and was just about to ask that very question with the ID verse OD so basically the thing is useless for us unfortunately

Pretty much. They did release a more HVAC friendly unit in the UK last year called the Raptor, so maybe we'll get something new too. The US model's been around for over a decade so...

No. I just tried it on some 1/2 PEX and it just kept spinning without cutting through.
