      4. We don't lap water but suck it.
      Our intestines are longer than the carnivorous animals, due to which meat can stay longer in our body and cause diseases like cancer.
      Unlike carnivore animals who have been born with canines, we have sets of molars.

    1.True
    2.Vegetables, fruits and milk products
    3.Sattvic food - Mode of goodness. When we eat our mind become calm, peaceful and Godly.
    Rajsic food- Mode of passion. We eat it for self gratification. Mind wants to enjoy this material world with five sences.
    4.God has given us molar teeth, by which we cannot chew meat properly. Nonveg food are not easy to digest due to lower lable of acid in our body.
    5. Before we take any food when we offer this first to God then we will be free from sinful karmic reaction of violence.

      Hello Rogelio! I worship God in the form of Jesus and Mary and both of them have entrusted my life to Swamiji, by giving him as a guru in my life.
      Let's ponder and contemplate over this luminous mystery of The Rosary-
      firstly there were 5000 people who followed Jesus and during this time miracle, Jesus sat on the hilltop and glanced over the people, and He questioned St. Phillipene" how shall we feed such a huge population?" and St. Phillipene said- "for everyone to have even a little, it would take 200 silver coins to buy enough bread"
      Jesus laughed and smiled, and at that same time, St. Andrew came forward with a child presenting 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, and Jesus was pleased by the Faith of St. Andrew.
      Now pay close attention here, Jesus took the food, thanked God, and multiplied.
      Now, Mother Mary wants us to meditate upon this mystery, and by doing so we realized, that Jesus manifested the bread and fish from heaven which correlates to God giving 'manna' to the hungry Israilites in the Old testament.
      This bread and fish were not from earth but from God's Kingdom and were not of material origin...
      since the food was divine, it had an impact upon the conscience and minds of those 5000 people who were inspired by the Holy spirit, sitting in their hearts, to follow Jesus wherever He went, and the food, although disguised as bread and fish, was transcendental in origin.
      The food had a temporary impact upon the people which inspired them to follow Jesus, but after 2-3 days, those people came back to their original conscience. This is a living sign from the bible that food has an impact on our mind, as food offered to God would give a holy mind
      Next time when Jesus talks about the Eucharist and proclaims-"I am the bread of life, the ancestors consumed 'manna' but died, but whoever consumes me would prosper till eternity"
      and people began doubting and hating Jesus for what he said, coz their minds were unable to comprehend this mystery of the Eucharist.
      and all the 5000 people departed and left Jesus, leaving behind the Apostles alone.
      and Jesus in anger, questioned the Apostles-"so, do you also wanna leave me and go?"
      But St. Peter answers-"God, where should be gone by leaving you? You alone have the knowledge of heavens and eternal life"
      and Jesus was pleased with his answer.
      So here we can observe, Jesus offered the food to God first(although Jesus Himself is God, He's doing acting to teach us how to eat) and then multiplied it by granting food to the 5000 people from His kingdom as 'manna',
      and Jesus also said-"gather the pieces leftover, let us not waste even a bit of food" to teach us to respect our food and not to waste...
      Even in our catholic church, there are soooo many saints like St. Clare of Assisi, St. Benedict, St. David, St. Gemma Galgani, St. Teresa of Avila, St. Catherine of Siena, etc...
      Even the Catechesis of the Catholic church says-" There is nothing incompatible between Catholicism and veganism. Furthermore, being vegan is an embodiment of the Catholic moral values of mercy, compassion, and caring for God's creation."
      The life of a Christian should revolve around self-denial and simplicity and poverty and having meat is against simplicity in the eyes of most abbots and nuns.
      as St. John Cantius, who was once questioned by his seniors, why does he not prefer meat? says-
      "the desert fathers and sages who lived severe austere lives lived to a remarkable old age without eating meat, and so meat is not compulsory to maintain my body"
      God bless you abundantly...
      I want you to meditate deeply upon this 4th Luminious mystery of the Rosary...

    Beautiful message Swamiji ! 🙏🏼. However dairy also needs to be included in the list of non Satvik foods .
    The cruelty and torture of cows and their calves are as horrendous as the meat industry . The dairy industry and beef industry are closely linked . A cow which is milked endlessly , given antibiotics and hormones , kept in pitiable conditions away from her calf , kept perpetually pregnant by artificial insemination and ultimately dies in 5 years or gets slaughtered for meat when she stops producing milk and hence profit for her owners . Milk contains drugs , hormones , pesticides , and pus cells . Animal milk is associated with type 1 and type 2 diabetes , many cancers esp breast and prostate carcinoma, heart disease and many autoimmune disease . All these facts are carefully hidden from the blissfully ignorant general public who view milk as an elixir of health .

      Dear Sarita, You are right and wrong. Milk by itself as extracted by ancient Vedic traditions (i.e, grass fed cows in open fields) of allowing the calf to feed first and then take the excess for human consumption is both Sattvic in terms of content and the process of obtaining. Also well fed cows can easily supply enough milk for both its calf and human consumption. However as you say in the modern world (especially the West), diary and beef industry are too closely linked so even though the Milk itself is Sattvic, the process of obtaining is very cruel (i.e, cow feed is full of meat products, very agreesive techniques to increase milk yield as well as meat yield, etc,). If you look at the cows that are originally from India, they used live for nearly 20 years and provide milk for close to 16-17 years but at a smaller yield, i.e, liters per day compared to the Jersey cows from the West which lives for just 8-10 years but just produce much higher yield of milk per day. Cows are a vital as a source of organic manure, cow dung and cow urine are one of the best anti-virals, by products of cow's milk especially ghee is very good food. There are only two food products known to humans that don't perish over long periods of time (without any preservative chemicals), i.e, Ghee and Honey. So much like organic farming, we should go back to humane methods of cow milk extracting use so that cows can be the GoMatha of the society as it once used to be and provide all the good things rather shunning cows completely

    • @lindamckenzie1537
      @lindamckenzie1537 2 года назад

      You are absolutely correct. There is no difference, morally, between meat and other animal products. All involve suffering and death of animals. Only a vegan diet can truly be considered sattvic.

      @@venkateshsubramanian8905 The thing is that, how can we really tell whether a cow wants to be milked and whether a bull wants to be forced to work?

    • @pratikkar5770
      @pratikkar5770 Год назад

      @@daria_vegan_sweden_1699when you go to a field where cows are grazing and you approach a cow to pet it, many of them will show signs of aggression or will run away from you but the same cow is very relaxed and her calf is safely jumping around when the owner comes to the cow..so animals very easily show signs of comfort/discomfort when they like an activity or not..
      The milk industry is not our culture..its very much linked with the beef industry..but the traditional indian way to extract milk from their family cows(traditionally every family had a cow) and some families had multiple cows who did milk business(the local milkman system which is still prevalent) is perfect..this milk is satvik in nature and this bond between us and cows had existed since the ancient times..veganism is a western concept bcz of the brutality towards the animals..
      But I agree this brutality has crept in our indian society too bcz of 1000 years of foreign occupation and destruction of our culture..but I believe skipping milk altogether is not an option.. We must get back to our ancient ways

    Vegetarianism is still an ideology. Ayurveda specifically contradicts this advice when considering the need to honour and respect the environment / climate we live in and our ancestors. Ignorance of them and the messages of what our body needs in current state to thrive, whilst pursuing a sattvik diet, is still ignorance.
    Try being vegetarian in Iceland through the winter for example. Impossible… without exploiting Nature further.. and also quite ignorant of the symbiotic relationship to Nature that we have and are part of.
    There is no one diet fits all.
    However, the spirit in which we eat these sacrifices from Nature is still very much valid indeed.
    Thank you for sharing this ancient wisdom. 🙏

He told me even in ancient times when people in colder regions eat mammals like buffaloes when the time came to decapitate the animal life they prayed and performed all kind for rituals to release the soul and ask forgiveness from the animal soul. In the end the animal was not in pain. Its says when the animal life in fear you ll be fearful but when he is happy naturally you ll be happy

    Somebody gave me this argument that if we are indulging in sin only by killing plants in vegetarianism also & have to offer it first to God to get rid of the sin, why can't we get rid of the sin in the same way in case of non-vegetarian diet (If we are taking this not for the sake of taste but for the beneficial animal proteins only)? This doesn't seem right but I don't know how to counter that. (Will be grateful if somebody helps us to clear our ignorance).

    • @shiv366
      @shiv366 2 года назад +8

      When the people enjoy killing animals, that same quality grows inside. Torturing animals will be developed towards torturing humans. Laziness, cruelty, sexual desire, selfishness, cancer and other diseases comes from non veg.

    • @dr.pragyanamdev2967
      @dr.pragyanamdev2967 2 года назад +3

      First of all as swamiji told Non- veg diet comes in tamasic food. So Lord will not accept something offered in the mode of ignorance. Though He's above the three modes of nature. Yet he accepts the love of his devotees. Second, non veg food is killing of sentient beings (those having brain and spinal cord and can sense and feel) whereas plants are insentient. Without feelings. So we should offer them to Krishna first and then have it to be freed from the karmic reactions.

    • @dr.pragyanamdev2967
      @dr.pragyanamdev2967 2 года назад +2

      And vegetarian diet comes in saatvic food too. So God will definitely accept it. And above all what he expects from us is pure devotion.😊 Hope you got your answer.

      well, in the Bhagavad Gita Lord Krishna has said that we can offer Him fruits, flowers, leaves, and water.
      and many people have given commentaries upon this by saying that if you offer God animal products, He would not accept it coz animals don't come under 'fruits, flowers, leaves, and water"...
      the philosophy is not to become vegetarian, but to eat the food offered to God which God blesses for us.
      Saying a prayer before meals with devotion and love is what is required.
      whatever food you offer, offer it with love...
      even in Islam, if an animal is to be killed for eating, there are certain laws, like giving an immediate death to the animal while taking the name of Allah, not killing the animal in front of other animals, to pray to Allah before meals...
      "offering food to God with love and part taking rest is the main sentiment"
      but to be honest, don't take the food intake too seriously, whatever you have in your plate, thank God for that and pray before eating.
      God does not distinguish who is offering what, even in Mahabharat, the vidhurani fed banana peels to Krishna but he dint complained, even in Ramayan, Shabri fed Lord ram the partaken 'ber' but Raamji dint distinguish...

    I have a question: Krishna said not to eat burning food. Garlic burns, so we don't eat it. People tell me to eat ginger instead, but ginger burns the throat. So, if we cannot have food that burns, then we cannot eat ginger. So why are we allowed to eat ginger? Krishna told us not to. Thanks. :)

    Is taking tea and coffee okay ? Need something hot to drink. Lactose intolerant.

    • @saritakumta5958

      65 percent of humans are naturally lactose intolerant and are unaware of this . They get gas and bloating after consuming dairy products but do not attribute it to dairy . Dairy is not a natural food for humans . You could substitute with plant milks like soy or almond milk which are much healthier choices .

      It is considered as negative pranic food, just like alcohol. It's not sin, but, can be hindrance to spiritual growth. Deep meditation can't be achieved while consuming tea and coffee.

    Q. How can the dairy products be healthy for everyone? Cow produces milk for its calf, for the calf to grow up to become a cow/bull.
    I believe that unless if a person is unhealthy & in need of a boost- one shouldn't make dairy product to be a part of one's diet. Isnt it?

      The excessive milk actually hurts the cow.

    Swamiji , how can milk be sattvic. The most inhuman thing is to deprive the calf of the mother's milk and use it for human consumption . Most brutal and has to be non satvic. Pl give your thoughts on the same .

    Good morning Swamiji.
    Intestines are two types Long intestines and Short intestines.. meat cannot be kept in long intestines cause meat decays fast..in long term will give health hazards..long intestines like human intestines suitable to chew vegetables..short intestines like tigers lions are meant to eat meat, fast digested and thrown outside...long intestines like humans, rabbits, goats and etc, are not for meat, it is vegetables so it can be kept without issues in long type intestines..

    Where as one who becomes vegetarian only because of religion without understanding the logic behind it. They are unable to defend it with logic. They say I am vegetarian because it is paap. And react angry when sees non veg food infront of him

    Dairy products cannot be satvic anymore, looks like this guru doesn't know how milk extraction is done in this days.
    Tha baby calve is taking away from the mother and if is a male is killed and sold for meat consumption.
    Cows in dairy farms eat GMO corn and soy with traces of pesticides and herbicides and the are given antibiotics and other medicines., so explain how that can be satvic.
    And cheese is made with rennet, and enzime that is taken from one of the stomachs of the baby calves.
    Where is Ahimsa then, and Asteya and Saucha?????
    And when you take veggies or fruits from a plant or a tree, you don't kill the tree or plant., they are offering it to us, so how that can create Karma???

    • @Starstruck-v2u
      @Starstruck-v2u 3 месяца назад

      Back then yes. Now no. If you drink milk, drink raw milk straight from a cow of someone who takes good care of the cow. Just cause i cant see a future for cows if our milk consumption stops. Cheese is made from non-animal rennet mostly in India. With plants it really depends, cause if its a carrot, that isnt really offering. So youd have to have a Jain diet without milk. Cant imagine my life without potatoes 🥲
