Follow James Whalan as he tackles the waterfall in his Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser! He gives it a good try, but snaps an axle and CV in the process and has to winch the last section.

What type of axles and what size of tires are you using? Much interested, they look so agile

I would choose :1) lower the tyres pressure, 2) lock the differential and 3) choose a high torque ratio (first gear)

what was the snapping and popping noise before the breakage occurred? Was it already damaged maybe? Might have been the coil buckets I guess, but didnt really seem like it.
