    At the drop of a hat-sth's done very quickly,u make a decision very quickly, u do sth with very quick decision
    Buckle down-to get to work, u stop doing sth to complete ur works
    Wear the pants- used many times in USA with a relationship to describe a person who's in charge, made a decision, tell another one to do sth
    Off the cuff-unplanned to do sth
    Hand-me-down= bring the used clothes to sone
    Burn a hole in one's pocket-ur tempted with money
    Dress to kill or dress to the nine's- ur dressed really good
    Fit like a glove- sth fit u perfectly; it looks perfect on u
    Fly by the seat of one's pants( or make a decision on the fly)-u make a decision with no planing for doing sth
