Sadly, the fear Earth feels towards Lunar is actually pretty close to the kind of fear Lunar has towards Eclipse.
Remember when Lunar said: your acting like the same person your trying to get rid of, very powerful words that are NOW coming to bite his metal butt!

I think people should really consider that Lunar is severely traumatized and he won't always be able to not be traumatized
This. Dealing with trauma IS NOT easy, it can take years, specially from something like literally dying.
Davis', Reed's, and Kat's acting was so on point this episode 👌
I honestly agree with Earth that Eclipse didn't deserve to be killed like that, especially when you consider that, according to what she saw, he was screaming and writhing in pain for several seconds before he exploded. I saw a post on Tumblr pointing out how, in contrast, Lunar's death was instantaneous.
I'm not saying Lunar had the "better" death, or that his trauma and feelings aren't valid, but it's wild how, in terms of the actual act of the killing itself, Eclipse gave him a quick and painless death by comparison. Of course, that's not counting how leading up to it, Eclipse forced him to stand in place for hours with a bomb in his head, threatening to kill him. So, while the death itself was physically painless, Lunar was still *mentally* tortured by his abuser beforehand. In contrast, Eclipse was *physically* tortured in those few moments before his death, all while Lunar laughed at his pain. That's not even getting into how this version of Eclipse isn't even the same one who killed Lunar in the first place...
So, yeah, Eclipse might've had it coming, but that doesn't make what Lunar did okay. Idk, this whole situation is a mess. I just hope that Earth and Lunar can eventually reconcile and get the help they BOTH need
You can’t force healing before somebody is ready or willing. And it can’t happen while a crisis is still ongoing.
Solar is very ‘find the solution and charge towards it’ which is why he set this up. But not always the best idea in emotional landmines like this.

Gotta say, the voice acting this this episode, phenomenal. The emotions felt very real.
Solar may not have gone about this the best way, but damn at least hes trying.

i dont know what to feel about Lunar, but seeing Solar care for Earth was just adorable. I’m really scared for them all, not just Lunar and Earth but everyone! Sun, Moon, Solar, all of em. Sun is probably drinking cause it might be a trauma response, Lunar is blowing up cause of everything going around him, Earth is ignoring it to try and forget about it, but trauma doesn’t just disappear. it stays no matter what, you just have to realise that it doesn’t matter unless there is a reaction that causes a giant negative response that effects everyone.
Lunar is hurt and so it everyone else, bit Lunar is not the main target, it’s targeting everyone.

Cried during the entire thing also the end with Lunar hit me HARD in the feels and I know it’s cringy or annoying or whatever for people to say this but I feel like in some small minuscule way I sympathize with Lunar and Earth as well during this episode
They both should get some cuddle time with the cats I heard that a cats purring can help with sadness so I think it’ll do them some good ^^

6:13 speaking of that episode: I saw it before I went to my great aunt tata’s retirement party, and that episode messed me up *SO MUCH* that I looked like I had just witnessed a murder before her retirement party.
6:55…….they literally told you the options…. 1. You are seen as a threat and you are killed. 2. You are seen as fine and are told to do a bit more training by yourself before you go up into the cosmos and are given an impossible task to for-fill for the rest of eternity and/or until the wither storm wins. 3. They just decide that you are worthy, and just give you the wild goose chase right then and there. I’m guessing that what’s going to happen is option 2 because it wouldn’t really be ‘the lunar and earth show’ if the first character mentioned in the title wasn’t there.

K sooooo this episode didn’t hurt as much as the Gemini one (but that’s probably because they are my fav characters) but besides that, I think it hurt less because nobody in this situation is wrong, but nobody’s right ether.
Lunar had every single right to kill eclipse, but he did it in the stupidest way possible. And instead of actually helping himself, he’s deciding to wallow in his own pity and misery and wait for a cure-all miracle that’s never going to come.
Earth on the other hand has every right to be traumatized and upset at lunar, but [like lunar] is deciding to wallow in her own misery and blame herself for everything instead of just looking at the facts. She did nothing wrong, but instead of doing anything to try and help her with her newfound trauma, she’s just decided to pity herself indirectly. And instead of wondering *why* lunar would do such a thing, she’s just making him out to be a villain who had no reason to do such a thing instead of trying empathizing with him with his trauma.
So yeah, this might not make much sense, but I hope you get the gist of what I’m trying to say :)

I'm sad. This whole video was so sad. Lunar is depressed, Earth is sad because of the creator and is terrified of Lunar because he killed Eclipse in front of her, and Solar is trying to fix everything between Lunar and Earth at the worng time
I don't want Lunar to die (I don't think he's going to die because he's a part of the two main characters in the show) but at the same time, I didn't want him to leave his family.
I want to know what is going to happen between Lunar and the astro bodies, and I hope Lunar and Earth will make up before something bad happens to Lunar.

Okay. I’m not normally a lunar Stan, but earth does *not* know what he’s going through. Nobody does. I’ve been in lunar’s shoes before(obvi not the powers tho) and it’s ALOT, it took about 7 years to get better. “I feel like he’s going through more than me” ok, can you not compare mental illnesses please? I get it you’re also going through things and stuff but everybody(including earth) going off at lunar and blaming 95% of things all on him isn’t going to help. “Oh he’s not trying to get better 🙄” yes the hell he is, getting better doesn’t mean all you’re trauma just disappears in the next week or two, especially his type of trauma will take a lot longer to heal(not fully).
(I re-read this and realized it looked like I was comparing mental illnesses😭 I wasn’t)

I agree. Earth gotta understand how much damage Eclipse has caused to her brothers. Sometimes people who hurt others, DESERVE a punishment. Eclipse hurted, Eclipse traumatized, Eclipse KILLED. I cannot agree with her on just letting Eclipse be while Lunar and Sun have to keep dealing with the trauma they both have.
@@deyisacherry Yeah. We can only guess before Lunar returned that maybe Earth had watched the Sun and Moon show to see what the bastard done, but clearly it hasn’t sunk in. Maybe if she was projected into those memories as the one receiving the abuse and torture then she could understand completely. Yet it would be so cruel to traumatize Earth for her to understand the level of damage dealt to her brothers.
Also she needs to understand that Lunar at least learned from Monty to just push the trauma away and not face it, just keep living on. It was completely accidental that Lunar learned that coping mechanism. So it’s most likely why getting through Lunar’s walls is so hard to do. I don’t know how she could help Lunar to stop using that coping mechanism.

I was discussing how Lunar might have a villain arc with my friend a couple days ago. I managed to find something that makes it a bit better (if you like the villainy part): Jack
Jack has his prerogatives and his order, yes, so he does what he’s told and can’t hurt the celestial family. However, he can hurt them on Lunar’s orders.
Going with the rest of Jack’s abilities, and Lunar’s start power, I’d say that’d be a damn good villain arc
I love it i had my own little version so i hope you don't mind:! Lunar as a astrobody is made out of pure energy astro energy but pure energy making its counterparts negative energy. Slowey makes Lunars body slowly fill with both energy fighting in his body becoming an emotional mess from mood swings.From being normal to a terrible horrible person.Using Jack as his main anchor and servant in both moods.His energy in his body slowly fight the end being that they either fuse into a mean but decent person or separate if not leading to lunars energy escaping and creating a terrible event being a witherstorm or a whole new body both ending with lunar being diffrent then what he once was!

I feel like Solar’s happier when he’s helping. As soon as he sees an opportunity to help he jumps at it. I can’t tell if he’s using it to help distract from his own problems or if it helps him. He struggles with finding a purpose, so I think helping others makes him feel better. I love him so much

God I wanna break the character limit by saying how much I love Solar, man. This guy...he deserves the world. Solar wants them to make amends. It's so sweet. He wants to make sure they can make up so they'll have each other's backs again during all the drama that's going on. It's so honorable!
It's sad to say that his attempts to reconcile Lunar and Earth didn't help... but altleast he tried to help them.
The reason why it went bad in my opinion is because they don't have the best mental state right now. Lunar is depressed over the fact he killed someone, and that Gemini, his romantic crush is angry at him at the moment. Lunar feels like he is a monster for killing someone, he locked himself away in his house in isolation. He knows that Astral bodies might come and kill him if Gemini fails convincing them, which of course would make him even more depressed than before.
Earth, on other hand feels like she is a failure for not being able to prevent this from happening in first place. She is scared of Lunar because he killed somebody infront of her. And Creator, the person she considered to be her father, dropped his "nice facade" on her for the first time and threated her and her family infront of her. Which didnt make Earth's mental state any better too.
So, i feel like it would worked better if more time passed away, because they both still didnt get over what happened. Now don't get me wrong, i don't think that they will ever completly get over it. Unfortunately, you can never fully move on from traumatic event that happened, even if many time passed.
What i think both Lunar and Earth need right now is to have some time for themselfes, so they would try to process what happened. And i feel like they need to vent to someone about their feelings, like Monty or Solar. And try some therapeutic activities.
So my point is that they should spend some time separately, and then try to make up.
@@Ijustexistfornoreason Exactly! Solar just wasn’t aware how troubled both were until they revealed it. It was bad timing on Solar’s part. They need more time before they make up on their own. Solar was only trying to help out, it was just too soon.
@@Ijustexistfornoreason I agree with you. The closest I can get to this situation was when I was a teenager and had a fight with my mom. We did the whole screaming at each other. Then I stormed off to my bedroom at some point to escape. Not too long afterwards, my mom wanted to make up with me yet I was just so emotionally hurt I didn’t wanna make up as soon as my mom wanted to. So I managed to leave the house and run away for a few hours. As I was gone, I had gotten lost not knowing the town and cell phone service was so unstable. It was growing dark and my fear of the dark and being vulnerable to wild animals overwhelmed me. Soon enough, shorten the story I had to get a ride home because I was so lost and scared. I got home, my mom being the best, she called the police to help find me after I vanished. Seeing that and the fact I wasn’t even mad at her anymore, we had an emotional reuniting there.
So I get it why characters especially Lunar need to run away to try to get a breather.

I'm glad Solar tried to get them to talk about everything. I just wish that so much pressure wasn't put onto Lunar, that Earth wouldn't feel like a failure, that those stupid stars just did their research on humans and emotions before telling Lunar to be basically emotionless, that they would stop holding the dagger of death over his head...there's so many things that I wish for here with the shows...but with the way things just keeps getting piled on them, more and more, getting heavier and heavier, I don't think any of those wishes will come true.
I said "who will I be angry with today" when I started this comment. I'm not angry with Earth or Lunar or Solar. I am angry with the Astrals, Eclipse, and the Creator. That is the answer to my own question, the same three things I've been angry with for months.
Solar is a brother more than a cousin with just this alone. He is doing his best to try and restore the sibling dynamic.

Yes, Solar is the best he's more an older brother than a cousin to the family. He's always there for his family when they need him.
Plus, Solar helped Sun and Moon brought them home from Ruin Eclipse's dimension and Solar rebuilt the whole daycare.
He helped Lunar and fixed his voice box when it was broken.
And Solar helped Moon get rid of evil Eclipse in his home dimension.
What would they do without Solar? To be honest their life may be worst without him. He is very kind smart talented and amazing

I both love, and kinda feel sad, about the fact that Solar can be so calm and help the others with their problems - and does a good job of it too - but doesn’t talk through his own problems for the most part, unless he’s practically pulled into a therapy session.
I know Earth rarely gets angry but surely she must understand or heard of when someone is overcome with anger, they can blank out who and what is around them aside from what's angering them.
I feel so bad for Lunar and Earth. Neither one of them have been catching a break over the past few days with bad stuff happening to them, and the rainstorm outside makes it even more sad.

I feel like this whole story beat is just some huge punishment to Lunar for not being able to instantly cope and recover from his death and the trauma Eclipse put him through, and that's deeply frustrating for me. And yet, instead of hearing about more of Lunar's trauma, we just keep hearing and hearing about how *Earth* is feeling, over and over.
She's allowed to have feelings, but four times now, we've heard that exact spiel of, "I'm scared of him, he traumatized me, I feel like a failure," whereas we only should have heard it *once*, during this conversation so it wouldn't just be Earth repeating herself or the third and then *fourth* time.
Also, the first time Lunar's body was built in Monty's space station after Killcode first manifested, he didn't get star powers then. What exactly about the time after his death was different? /genq
I'm glad that Solar could stand as an unbiased mediator. And then a comfort to both characters at the end.
Exactly, I feel like she’s got it all wrong she’s not the one that’s supposed to be helping him solar is the difference is lunar was not killed the first time that that was a new body made of nano machines the second time he was killed and was being repaired. That’s the difference.

Earth is the one who explicitly took on the task of being Lunar's therapist back before this channel was created. I don't recall Solar doing any such thing, so how is it that *he's* supposed to be the one helping Lunar? He is certainly *allowed* to help Lunar but it wasn't his given role when he came to this world, unless I missed something.
I feel bad for solar. He’s always expected to make things better-
I get where Earth's coming from but i also think they are downplaying the fact that lunar was MURDERED by eclipse. His feelings are 10000 percent valid and anger is too tame in terms of how lunar feels. They both are in the wrong. Lunar obviously more so because he refused help from earth that was desperately needed. But the coping mechanism he developed isnt easy to get rid of.
