I know me too!! I watched The Assasination of Gianni Versace is was fantastic and Darren Criss deserved the Emmy such an amazing acting performance by him, loved him since Glee.
So well deserved. Love how Murphy wove so many elements into the storyline; gave such excellent backstory. Darren Criss was flipping incredible in this series, as was Édgar Ramírez & Penélope Cruz. Everyone gave stellar performances.
According to his show Lee Miglin was a closeted gay man why didn't he mention him in the speech too? and I know he wanted to focus on the hate crimes but all victims deserved a mention, William Reese as well.
So it should have won. It was phenomenalky good. Darren Criss, Ricky Martin, Penelope Cruz, Finn wittrock and the blessed actor who played Gianni. These people made the crime series what it was... Spectacular 😇❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍

Power-packed performances, perfect casting, gripping storyline, excellent direction, nice writing and amazing acting are just certain things that define this show. All the actors did great acting esp. Darren Criss who just absolutely nailed the charachter of Cunnanon on the show. Totally deserving Show to get an Emmy!!❣️

I tried not to compare the seasons since they were about different events but I honestly thought this season was far better than the O.J. one. IMO Sarah Paulson and Sterling K. Brown were the strongest elements of that season (although John Travolta was great as well) whereas Cuba Gooding Jr., as good of an actor as he is, was actually miscast. With 'Versace' everyone onscreen kept my attention, not just Darren Criss, and I found the material more interesting tbh. I also really enjoyed 'The Alienist' and am looking forward to seeing how the second book is adapted.

This season is kinda weak compared to OJ. But I guess the other nominees were weaker hence they won.
The alienist was a good well written show and i wish it won but since i haven't watched the assassination of Gianni i can't compare the two.
