    I would like to praise the two young French brothers who have achieved the remarkable feat with the top two positions in the world rankings. It is truly impressive.

    What a great game! Only Alexis le Brun was a little embarrassed towards the end, who complained about a hidden serve of Chuqin (it was completely fair) because he would have loved to win. There is a yellow card for knocking the ball away like he did - normally.

    • @Gryffins90
      @Gryffins90 Год назад +26

      He is also rightfully complaining because the serve is hidden AND because he throws the ball towards him. The throw should be vertical but he launchs the ball from the center of the table and touch it at the edge of the table.

      @@zeitenwechsel7898 the ball throw before the serve is not vertical at all 27:28 (if you really want a timecode), also if you slow down the video you clearly see that he hits the ball preemptively (which is something you don't normally do), if you manage to stop at the frame where the ball is touching the racket it becomes totally obvious Chuqin completely hides the ball.
      This is clearly a practiced (yet illegal) serve used to trick the opponent by hiding the ball and changing the timing.

    european players must improve 2 skills in order to be qualified to compete with top chinese players :
    1/ topspin playing style with high latency reflex time rubber :
    Apply topspin oriented playing style to INCREASE ACCURACY OF STROKES. In the past time, topspin playing style had target to create difficult balls to oponent. But nowaday topspin playing style also have main target to increase accuracy, so that players can make more speedy strokes with high accuracy. If you just hit balls quickly and speedy, but with low accuracy, then there is no reason to make you become better than opponent. Fan Zengdongs inherites advantages of topspin playing style from the pasttime chinese legend supper trio Wang Liquin - Ma Lin - Wang Hao. Thus Fan Zengdongs can often make incredible extremely strongly speedy balls from both backhand and forhand. The reason is not that Fan Zengdongs has stronger physical strength than other top european players. The reason is that Fan Zengdongs inherites advantage of topspin style, thus he has more accuracy, so that he can confidently increase speed and strength in his strokes while still keep high accuracy.
    High latency reflex time rubbers helps to increase accuracy : no matter whether your rubbers are soft or hard, but they must slowly return from deformed form to original form. Many chinese rubbers are suitable high latency reflex time rubbers for forhand. Al european rubbers and japanese rubbers are not high latency reflex time rubbers, they can be very soft rubbers (deform deeply even by weak forces) but they all immediately fastly return to their original form. High latency reflex time rubbers require more phisical strength, but they help players to easily increase accuracy.
    2/ Try make strokes when in steady and low poses.
    The more you stay in steady poses, the more you make accurate and strong strokes. Chinese top players are excelent to keep steady poses when they make strokes in rallies. European players are not good in staying in steady pose when make strokes. It is visually obvious in all matches of european players vs top chinese top players.
    Low poses in table tennis mean that elbow of your playing hand should not be higher than the net. Low poses allow you to have more time to move your hand to wait to balls and to approach balls, extremely usefully in speedy rallies, thus it increases effectiveness and accuracy (because have more time for prepare in any strokes). If you stay in high poses, then you lose more time to move your hand downward to make strokes in any strokes, thus you have less time and less accuracy.
    European players, even top european players often do this error : they stay in high poses in rallies, or they stay in low poses in some balls but they forget and become stay in high pose in next balls in rallies. Maybe, because european players are often tall, so they are lazy to stay in low poses, thus they lose accuracy and time in all strokes.
    3/ The ITTF must set new standard balls to weight of 2gr - 2.5gr, instead of today current balls of weight 2.7gr. No matter of whether new balls are bigger sized or smaller sized. The important criteria is that ball weight must be lightweight, so that they fly more slowly in air by impact of air resistance. Table tennis becomes to lose entertaining feature and visual effect, because heavyweight balls fly too fast, thus spectators watch only counters and reaction, without techniques and long rallies.
    Japanese balls, for example Nittaku balls, have weight 2.7+ gr, why other chinese balls have weight 2.7- gr. It is visually obvious : high class matches of japanese heavyweight balls 2.7+gr are often bored with short rallies but with only reaction of hits, while high class matches of chinese lightweight balls 2.7- gr are often more entertaining with long rallies and techniques shows.
    There are no complains about the quality of japanese balls, but It is worth to worldwide boycout japanese heavyweight balls just because their ball weight is often heavyweight 2.7+ gr, for example need to boycout Nittaku balls of 2.7+gr .

    Ils sont pas sûrs d'eux les chinois, pour manquer de fair play à ce point! Apparemment 2 irrégularités sur le dernier set non sanctionnées, au contraire, le tricheur marque le point! Au risque de me répéter, tant qu'on n'aura pas un arbitrage niquel, on sera considéré comme des guignols. Ils l'ont fait au foot et au rugby, pourquoi pas nous?

      @@fourniervictor9354 I think you are sided to French team as you only commented the ball throw from Chinese team was not vertical, as a matter of the fact is that the ball throw from French team was never vertical at all as well. 🤭😆 Furthermore, there was never a "hidden serve" by Chinese team, just playback at slowest speed and watch it yourself. The ball is always at full sight by the French player. 😂
