One of the Brentwoods was crying, a little drill and tap action, a zerk fitting, and it will never cry again! The wheelbarrows years ago all had grease fittings, now you have to put your own in.
As soon as I get a notification for one of your vids I click on and like the vid. I was a construction supe for 35 years and always took pride in my work and did it right the first time. threr arent many small contractors like you that go the extra mile you always go beyond . Its nice to know there are people like you that still do quality work . Thanks for the videos
Bondo - You've shown us over the years that you clearly know what you're doing, but I was surprised you didn't have expansion material or a vapor break along the exterior wood walls.
should be a 5" strip of "tentest" we would use back in the 70 and 80's, that aspinite on the walls will just wick up water and rot. otherwise these guys do good work!
Those wheel barrows are so much nicer than the one wheel kind. I had both kinds before leaving Illinois and kept the one wheeler. I remember using it in Florida and as I started across the yard the rubber tire fell apart and dumped it, till I bought a new wheel and tire. The heat from the sun in Florida was murder on objects.
Idealy if kept wet for 28 days with the plastic sheeting underlayment the need to saw cut would be gone or greatly reduced. Concrete will test stronger if allowed to completely wet cure, most job sites do not want to pause for four weeks and then the drying out of the slab will take a longer time for concrete above 4500PSI. Too bad as this gets the owner all the strength he has paid for without having to preplan cracks which helps keep a basement floor dry and not damp. Your company gives the clients great value and a top notch job w/o drama. Ray Stormont
@@lastone1269 I find that the concrete will draw the water away from the timber because it is porous sticking something in between the two hinders the ability for the timber to dry out after it has taken on water and that aides in rotting the timber. I also see timbers rot fast in poor draining soil and last longer in well draining rocky soils regardless if concrete touches the timber.
Is there a good sealer that comes in gallon size? Don’t want to pay well over 200.00 for a 5 gal. Container of SRT and only need under 2 gallons. Edit: for a new outside patio.
No rebar chairs = NO metal bar or wire concrete reinforcement. You can pull up the wire all you want but your men are walking all over it and pushing it back down.
can you grout? can i? ive spent half my life on my hands and knees... how about with a spoon? oh yea i can spoon also.... i had to take a phoney off life support the other day....
Always doing great work.

We never let concrete touch wood even if it's treated!

chelsie we should build a yr around greenhouse, we can put a fence around the backyard and raise cows,chickens....
I'm tearing out an old garage slab from the 70's.
It's got wire under about 80% of it. The other 20% is in the concrete and much harder to break up.
i remember you you were the aug. playmate in my LOOSE LIPS magazine, you were leaning over the hood of the duramax
not even a minute in and you found the sandy gravel....🤣🤣🤣🤣

i used to sit behind you in math class. everybody was behind me in math class i was doing wall st. math when you were still in diapers
why did you go away from using the power screed? taking the concrete longer to finish?
@@markhorton9020 I think we can get the floor flatter by hand screeding.

Will the wood on the walls rot over time?
I was thinking the same thing
All them boards would be gold
