When you had the airbag light did your horn work? I have the same issue with the light on but my horn and radio buttons don’t work so idk if I should just reset it

I swear I remember a year ago watching another video and it didnt work. I think his instructions were to turn on and off 3x, where as in this video you stated to do it 4x. I followed your instructions and it worked like a charm. Thank you much!

Unhooked my seat on g37 because of water underneath due to the drain plug leak from the sunroof. Got that replaced, and the light wouldn't come off after getting it back on......worked like a charm. Thanks so much.

Mine didn't go away after resetting it and came back. The pattern tells you what the issue is. Most of the time the airbag connection pins under the seat need to be unhooked, cleaned, and reattached. Takes 10 minutes
@willkilla You are right. There was actually a Technical Service Bulletin released for the air bag connectors under the seats of the cars because so many were throwing codes. It's typically a loose/bad connection under the seats. The TSB from Infiniti detailed of a kit that actually changed the connectors themselves. Depending on your model year service Bulletins were ITB10-034B for 2003-2004 G35 and ITB10-036B for 2005 G35. Technical service bulletins should be fixed free of cost from Dealership as they are known factory defects.
Hey guys I did this but the blinking light comes back on the next day. Can you explain how to get access to the connection pins? I have an 05’ G35
@@Kennaito The connection is under your seats. There are 4 bolts on each corner under plastic covers. The connector itself is yellow.

You hooked me up! G37 convertible. Dealer told me the same story. Ohhhh that could be so many things and needs a full computer diagnosis and could get very expensive. Just bring us the car. They even told me that it could take too long to wait and do I want a loaner?!? Not even a mention of trying to reset it first. It’s criminal. I did what you told me. Slightly different since I don’t have a key. Just push the start button twice without your foot on the brake. It did not work actually starting the car. When the light shut off, I hit the start bottom again to shut it off. I did it 5 times. The light has been off for 2 weeks. What a dealer scam! Thank you so much pal !!
My hero! I just had my seat redone in my 2007 Infiniti G35, driving home noticed the airbag light. Your reset worked like a charm!
Good going. I used to do the same thing on a 1990 corvette that I owned. That is usually caused by a sensor that is not grounding properly. Sometimes a little moisture or dirt build up gets in between the sensor and chassis. My car had only 2 front sensors, so i unbolted them and with a little sand paper and some WD40 problem solved. The dealer wanted around $600 to replace the sensor and the labor.

G35 2006 coupe, I removed my seat for upholstery repair and when I put back the air bag light started flashing. I did as you instructed and it not flashing.

I had code B1134 and flashing airbag light. Tried to clear the fault with my Autel's SRS functions, failed. Cleaned the connector with DeoxIT, no joy. Found this video, gave it a shot and TADAA!!, SRS light is now off. I guess this trick woke up the module well enough to finally shake hands with the ECU. Well done, video maker, and thank you.

Worked on my 2011 M37! Airbag light came on after installing an aftermarket android headunit. I thought I maybe damaged a wire when installing. Glad it just needed a reset!

I bought my 05 G 35 coupe from the Infiniti dealership 10 years ago. I was having the exact problem with the air bag light continuing to come on after a reset. A few years later, the dealership notified me a recall on the passenger weight sensor that activates the passenger side air bag and was required to fix it, free of charge according to NHTSA.
Dude... You saved me sanity while driving lol. I’ve had this for a while and had no clue how to clear it. Mine is supposedly a sensor under the passenger seat 🤷🏻♂️, what my Buddy’s code reader said anyway lol. Appreciate the vid and subbed 👍🏼

Depending on your model year service Bulletins were ITB10-034B for 2003-2004 G35 and ITB10-036B for 2005 G35.
While this fix may be a temporary solution the plugs due to poor design may still fail to connect properly under your seat hence the need for a TSB. If you find this video to fix the light only for it to appear again you need to dig under your seat and make sure your connections are solid and if light still on its time to pester your local Infiniti dealer about the TSB to see if they can help and should be free of charge to you. TSB's are acknowledgement of design issues from the factory.

@@MotordyneG35 I've had issues with mine where a simple key operation would not fix but getting under the seat and spraying contact cleaner in both connectors has fixed mine long term as well.

I had a 04' g35 with the light on. I cleaned the connectors under the seat and used dielectic grease. Never came back.
My car had a tsb on it to for it. They zipped tied the connector. I left the zip tie of.
