- Detective Cody Jett of the Clay County Sheriff’s Office assisted another officer with a routine traffic stop. In the vehicle, they find drugs and drug paraphernalia. With both passengers claiming it belonged to the driver, he was charged with possession of various drugs.
COPS has been documenting police work for over three decades. This episode was filmed in 2019.

Since I've never, ever used that ish in my life, it certainly wasn't mine. Destroyed it immediately and moved on.

I always hear shit like "never rat people out" "don't snitch" but honestly you can't just say shit like that without context. In a case like this where it's stupidly obvious crack was found in the car, and if no one admits to it, everyone will be arrested. While if they did get all arrested I highly doubt a judge would actually charge all 3, Old man should have owned up to it if he cared about the people he was with. Instead he's pissed he got thrown under the bus. that shit is whack

People doing crack together aren’t actually friends. Those bonds are created out of need and not true connections. Trust me, even your crew seems tight, the drugs will get to you and eventually turn you all into selfish people. I’ve been there I know what it’s like. No one will have your back you need to remember that. Never trust anyone not even your own closest friends if drugs are the main reason for your bond.
