So seems like this was done a while ago. Any regrets and did it improve the performance of the bike? I mean was it worth the extra money and have you busted any axles do to front locker ?
After only 3 run, my left axle is poping out when my bike reach full shock extension on my xmr 2014. I popping in and I've had the same problem. Do you know what could be the problem ?
How is the lock actuated/disengaged? Is it purely mechanical such as a speed difference between the left and right (bad when making turns under light load conditions) or is there a requisite housing modification in order to accommodate an external control cable or actuator?
this locker is engauged under throttle in 4x4 when costing the locker diengages and acts lice an open diff it works very well and with power steering you barley notice it. the operate lightning fast
Thanks for the info. Having it lock whenever you're in 4wd and under load (such as climbing), even when traction is good - is a problem. In addition to my Can Am, I have an Arctic Cat with a lever engaged locker. If I lock it when traction does not require it, steering becomes a bitch.
lol - yup, you need a camera guy. I was thinkin' it just before you said it. Good video. I don't know much about CanAm's and I'm not a mechanic so I have a question . . . what's the purpose for installing this? I'm assuming it takes the place of the visco lock, but that's just my guess. Does it make the 4WD better than it was with the visco? or just more reliable as far an engaging is concerned? Oh, and one more question . . . How would a guy go about getting one of those cool Mud'N'Wheels t-shirts?
hey bud the torque locker's main function is just to improve on the visco lock. this locker makes our can ams a true 4wd. if have some free time you should be my new camera guy lol
i personally have broke one axle with a torque locker but is was do to my own mistake. just today i beat the hell out of my bike with a torque locker and on 32 with zero issues
Great video guys!! The Visco Gear & TORQ Locker Gear alignment is key!!
Thanks a lot! Video made my install go a lot smoother.
that is great new glad it helped
Thanks for such a detailed video
one day i will buy one of those torquelockers
400.00 today so don't wait to long or you'll pay more
Nicely done ✔
is this a worth while upgrade? or just worth doing if the visco lock stops working?
How do you get the remaining clutches out of the housing? And what is the name of the solvent used to dilute the visco fluid?
I wonder the same thing cause that’s the whole reason I’m going to this locker is to delete the visco
well done on then video, none what kinda we're cam-screwin' vya ah yeh

Supposed to act like the Halo locker but is automatic.
Owners have wanted this for years.
