fun fact about ice palace: you can actually do the whole thing before skull woods, because ice enemies in this game just need something which uses fire, not necessarily the fire rod. the bombos medallion also kills everything that the fire rod would but all at once, and it kinda turns the whole thing into a cakewalk bc you can literally just blow through every room that doesn't have the stalfos with bombos, and it's quite possibly the most broken item in the game.
Arin and Danny trying to navigate the invisible path in Gannon's tower with a phone for a long time and then finding the torch that reveals the whole path right at the end. So sweet.
Before I knew about the torch, I used to pass this area with Ether like Danny, but also the cane of somaria to push blocks ahead of me. If a block dropped, STOP!
